This is definitely an amazing app but I wish you could change the terrain or set your own towns and biomes. I also wish you could have several countries or islands on map. Other then that, it's an amazing map maker and I like how it spreads out the towns and dungeons and things like that. I also like all the different options you have for the items you can put on your map. I especially like how this app is free as every other one I could find you have to pay for.

It's a fun app, it definitely helps when I'm making a world for a project I have. It would be nice to move terrain but I'm more interested if there could be map making for the city/village itself if you're making one. If it had an option for that I'd rate it five stars.

I would love to rate this higher. It's simple and intuitive. Unfortunately I think the one thing holding it back is how small the maps are. The largest one is little lore than a small region on another map. If the maps could be much larger, then this would be my go to app.

This is a updated review after using it for awhile. This app is by far the best when it comes to random generation. The save option not only gives you the 3D map, but the 2D top down map and a legend for what's what. An absolute beauty of a map. My props to the developers.

This app is fantastic at what it does. Something I would love to see in the future is the ability to terraform a created map to better suit what you want. Being able to add/remove mountains, volcanoes, lakes, oceans, etc would make this app perfect. I would absolutely pay a one time premium for access to that.

Fantastic Map generator! It would be nice if it let you tweak the terrain after it was created though. Also, I think there are a few features that are missing, such support for islands or the ability to add places after the map is created. It works fabulously if you dont already have something in mind though.

If your Into D&D or your doing something like Writing a Fantasy Novel (which is what I'm using it for) and you want to be inspired and create your own fantasy world for either a role play or whatever? this is it!!! one critique I have is when your looking at your map that you made and you want to make some changes, there should be an over head view option like on a floor planner app, and you should also be able to save your previous map to the app, so if you need to go back, you can.

I really like the app but i would like it so much more of there was a way to manually edit the map after its been generated, like a way to lift the land to make my own mountains or lower it and add water to make my own lakes. Also the maps look awesome for being randomly generated but it'd be nice to be able to add towns and caves and things like that where you want them rather than them just being randomly placed. :)

I really like this app but I wish it didn't add a road from every other city or village to a new one you out down. It should add a road from a city close to it only or ask you if you would like to make a road from a certain city to that city. Also let us make the actual description of the city or add more descriptions it can give. I know you have that add more detail thing under it but having a bunch of cities that all say there desolate cities gets old. Add more variety.

Lovely app, the idea of making maps entertains my mind. I would love a first person view though, I would also like it if there was a building creator in like a polygon style ade easy controls and pre-made parts to make the buildings, and I would love it if there could be a cave generator/creator. Also the biomes should be more clear and should be able to control the temperature and there should be weather that you should be able to control also. Anyways, great app and would love more features.:)

Does what it says, but could, as all things, be better. I believe adding the ability to make custom landmarks other than the predetermined landmark types would be very useful if we could place them wherever. Being able to alter the land in game may be much. But being able to make our own trails and rivers would likely be possible. Perhaps be able to drop coins / pins on the map to represent where certain things are. (Players, Npcs, etc.) I feel too critical, this is a great app, and I like it.

It's a fairly good app overall, and I'm glad it doesn't have any paywall premium nonsense, but there are some major things I'd like to see added in order to make it fully coherent. First off, being able to rotate the map vertically as well as horizontally would be very very helpful. Secondly, the max map size should be larger, as to give more of an experience to users. And just as a final thing, perhaps things such as viklahes and castles should get their own models rather than just pins

This is a great resource for making island campaign settings. Using it with your own DM notes instead of the pregenerated descriptions is great (generated stuff is great if your players throw you a curve ball and ditch the railroad to go play in the sandbox) That being said, I have a few gripes: 1) You can't change location descriptions, only rename them and add extra details. 2) It's almost impossible to select and move a point on the map without it selecting something totally different.

I actually love this map generator. I just wish there were some more features within it to help customize the maps generated. I think the addition of a hide pin feature would help game masters provide a topographical map without revealing too much location information to the players. Also the random placement of caves and ruins in bodies of water is a little too often. I think the save feature is a beautiful thing. I just wish the pins for were smaller on the saved 2d map. Overall good app.

Great app for making quick and easy maps but needs more fine tuning. For example, needs an option to specify what kind of landmass you want (continents, archipelagos, etc.). Also would be great if the maps were larger with a bit more detail to them. It's a great basic concept though

I like the basic concept and graphics, but I wish it went a lot further and was more customizable. For example, when you opt to create a city, it automatically chooses the descriptor for that city: corrupted, haunted, hidden, beautiful, etc. Also, adding a road, river, forest, or something like that only adds a single location marker instead of an area or length. It's fun for an I-don't-have-time-for-this map generator, but I would love to see it do more.

This is my first download of this type, but its very good. Love that you can add so many locations in custom build. Cant figure out how to drag the map though - zooming in cuts off map corner locations. It'd also be nice if there were language preferences, or a better name randomizer algorithm - most all randomized names are un-pronounceable.

I find this app really good for world building in my DnD campaigns. I do have a couple of adjustments that I would like to see made. I want to be able to do more with the locations after the initial placement. Like move them around, rename them, add more of them, hide/show locations, and edit the description of them. One thing that I saw someone else talked about was the locations to be shown visibly, not just as dots. I would also like to add roads and bridges.

I love the game, but there's 2 problems. But I'm still giving you a 5 star.Because I love it very much. Number one. It doesn't look like the picture at all really, but just triangles. Floating, but there's one good thing. You can name it and choose what it is. And it's history. So i think you should. Make a box make a button. That says start simulation now And it has no ads Love it keep going Following your dream😃👍

I usually don't do reviews, but I had to for this. This app is absolutely amazing. Sure, it's simple and basic, but what I am using it for, it works. The only issue I have with it is that choosing the "random" option also generates places. If there were an option to have a random map without the names (if you don't want to play with custom), it would be perfect. Every map I have generated so far has been a region (for my world purposes) and I plan to piece them together to make a larger one.
