This is by far the worst radio/audio app I've ever used, if not the worst app of all time. The worst part is this app has been terrible for years, and each time I download and get my hopes up, it's the same issues as before. Issues: 1. Will frequently show an error "Offline" even though the stream is still playing? 2. App will stall and you cannot resume a stream no matter what button you press, forcing you to start over 3. Navigation by chapter rarely works

Horrible constantly crashing. Finally gave up tonight trying to listen to the show after it took almost 2 hours to get it to play 25 minutes because of the constant app crashing. Restarted the device several times, issues with no other apps and on wifi. Finally just done with it. Garbage, find another way to listen to whatever you want. This isn't your answer.

This app is great (sarcasm) Unless-you get a call while listening, and alarm on your phone goes off, you need to pause it or you try to akip back 15 seconds. Then it will stop where you are and seems to restart where ever it feels like in the program. Great if you are listening live, if you are playing back a show its highly disappointing Edited to add-thanks for the bot response..... This is an 'audacy' problem, not an 'everyones phone who uses the app' priblem

I use this app to listen to one radio station. One of my original problems was with the rewind mode. It would just assume I wanted it to be rewound to where I had left off, or sometimes it would start the program from the beginning. I see today that there is now an option asking if I wanted to go back or listen live. It's good to see the change. However, I still have a problem with the same ads every break. This has been going on for a long time. It's enough to ruin my listening experience.

Pretty bold of Audacy to push for a review. But ok! It's a terrible app and I only use it for one radio show, only because this is the one spot I can get it. The app is glitchy, skips, and just generally runs awful for something available in 2024. If I didn't have to, I wouldn't use it. And I've considered forgoing the radio show I like due to the app's performance issues!

Love this station 97.1 The Ticket, Detroit.... The app though needs help. I find that the app closes or pauses at times, and then it restarts commercials that you had just listened to, the commercials are too repetitive, no one wants to hear the same commercials on every break. The station may choose it's ads but the app makes it so that I have to hear them too often, if I wish to remain listening.

Works but has issues. You can listen to Audacy radio stations when it works but sometimes it will just stop playing and you just need to click play again. Other times you have to close the app and reopen it. Every once in awhile it won't close and you have to kill it. When I use other streaming apps the work fine, just this one is frustrating.

Awful. App CONSTANTLY pauses the audio for the broadcast you are listening to. Forcing you to have to unlock your phone and press "play" or investigate why the app auto paused or discontinued broadcasting the audio. When I say "CONSTANT," I guite literally mean exactly that. Every 3-5 minutes, you can set your watch to it. I never leave reviews like this. That's how awful this app is. Please fix it.

The app is trash!!! ... love the shows but listening to them on this platform drives me crazy. They are constantly getting interrupted by in app adds and often get stuck in a loop where the same 3 adds will play over and over. Because of this I'm pretty sure I only hear about 70 percent of the show. If the on air talent knew that their shows were being interrupted as much as they are thru probably wouldn't be so happy

App stays open until you force close it from your settings, so it stays open in the background, usually draining battery before you realize it. Also it's issues with Android Auto are back, it freezes when you start it from AA, you have to again force close it and reopen it through settings in order to get it to play, very dangerous while driving to go through all that. I have cleared cache, reinstalled, it's a very poor app for useability, been this way for years.

Its impossible to imagine a worse app for live streaming. Aside from the fact the app never closes and drains your battery, using it to stream live radio puts you by default into an ad loop so you have to endure 5+minutes of ads (some in Spanish, which I do not speak) and you're always 1+ minutes behind on the live program when you get to it. And Audacy customer service, don't respond to this w an email and case # as you've done that before and never responded to my email. The. Worst.

Update 4/30/25: It is amazing that media company's APP and web stream service does work! Both continuously pause for no reason! I really want to listen to 92.9 The Game but the Live streaming and podcast are still unusable! I tried the mobile APP a year ago to listen to my favorite sport station but it kept stopping for unknown reasons. I downloaded it again today and it still has the same issue. I have switch back to streaming on the web, it not great but it is much better than the APP.

4/27/2024 Still the worst app for listening to live radio. Cuts out too often. Extra commercials that are not on the actual radio broadcast (so we miss some of the broadcast). Just the worst. 8/13/2023 Used to be a good app. But after installing an update it's now ridiculously bad. It stops playing about every 10 minutes. Have to reopen and restart. By then I've missed 30 seconds of a live broadcast. Won't put up with this much longer if it's not fixed: Spotify here I come.

Update (04.26.202: The app is much, much better than it was the last time I reviewed it. Previously, I just stopped listening, because the stations I liked weren't worth THAT much hassle. But I came back to find a single clip of a sports news coverage, and I had no issues. Continued to revisit here and there and had no other issues. I wish there were more history on previous shows/finding previous shows was easier to find (going back a week would be nice), but it is definitely useable. Good job.

Want a terrible UI for finding old episodes? Your podcasts to randomly jump around or stop playing? Internet connection errors when your connection is fine? Everything you've deleted from your queue to reappear and clog it up again every time you open the app? Wait no more, I give you: the Audacy app! How I wish the Google podcasts app didn't shut down this year.

It's constantly crashing and buffering, have to uninstall, reinstall even when there's great connection with four to five bars. This issue has been going on for years and seems to have gotten worse, If I were able to listen to my favorite station on another more reliable app like siriusxm, I wouldn't even bother with audicy. (matter of fact, I'm deleting NOW!).

Will not work with Android Auto, all I get is a blank screen. It isn't the car I'm driving because all 8 vehicles I drive have the same problem. It isn't my phone because it is brand new. Also holly ads. I have started the app to 20+ minutes of ads, I gave up at that point. The ads are also extremely repetitive, the same five ads over and over again.
