Avoid This App at all costs!! Don't use this app. It preys on those who do not read fine print or know to lookout for the bait n switch. Terms are vague and will change as you use the app. You will be flooded with emails and texts telling you to switch direct deposit, I tested it by transferring 1% of my pay to this company and wasn't surprised when prior approvals changed, hidden charges appeared, and delays with money access occured. Update: bank in breach of federal/state statute UCC §4A-302

Fast friendly online support. So very user friendly and easy to navigate. Only downfall is external transfer fees. I think they should be free with qualifying deposits. Just a suggestion!

the app is very inaccurate about certain pivotal information to get an adequate advance if you don't complete the process through the app. the customer service chat assistance is horrific and rude. but if you call they're very helpful. and there's literally 0 places that you can use an ATM without fees. I'm hoping to continue with this app but if certain issues aren't corrected I'll be switching my direct deposit elsewhere

I kept getting notifications about getting an advance, a B9 Advance to be exact. The offer looked tempting so I decided to sign up. I guess I thought my advances would be higher than they actually were so I ended up to stop using it. I didn't have a bad experience overall, I just think I’ll come back when they’ve been up and running for longer.

So far B9 has truly been a lifesaver. I've been using online banks for several years now and I've used a couple different apps over that time. Overall experience B9 to me has definitely been the best. The only issue I have at this point is they aren't compatible with Plaid as of yet. Which is definitely a mark in the con box. Being able to link to Plaid on other apps has a huge advantage hopefully B9 fixes this . But with that being said that's the only disadvantage I've had since joining B9.

Would be a 5 star if the notification actually worked and went off when they are supposed to instead of hours or even days later. I have my notifications turned on. The app is up to date and I've done everything on my end to resolve, but nothing has happen. The reason I give 2 stars is because if the notifications worked like I had them set to do then I wouldn't be in the mess I'm in now. Plus B9 perks that you get guess what you don't get them it's a waste of time.

I've truly loved my experience with B9, because the app has just been an absolute joy to use. It's pretty easy to actually use the app. And it allows you the option to budget your finances efficiently. Plus the customer aervice team is incredibly innformative and great at answering any questions you nay have. Never met an app that was so easy to use, or helpful when it came to finances!

I want this to be a good card but it lacks. Pros: can get paid early, yes you can receive an advance. Cons: They do not show up on plaid or finacity. App is glitchy. There's issues with transactions being decline randomly. Does not work very well with cash app either, they'll both point fingers 8f you have an issue. Any deposit made, even with cashing out from cash app will immediatel go towards paying your advance. Customer service is polite, but does not really resolve any problems.

Not much of an experience so far. App won't scan my ID always saying it's to dark. I have tried every type of light possible. I have tried countless times, it just does not work. And I have been in contact with customer service. Talked to 4 different reps and they all say the same thing. Even the specialist they gave it too wrote back telling me to make sure I'm in a well lite area. I sent screenshots showing how perfectly lite and clear my ID was and still I only get the same answer.

I signed up for the app then as i connected my employer, i ended up cancelling. Well guess the cancellation didnt go through because i woke up to my direct deposit in the B9 app. Im happy yes, but the fees to transfer my funds to another card instantly is high depending on how much you want to transfer. This might of been less fees if i had the physical card. Oh and i got a advance too! Not bad.

After the latest update for the B9 Mobile Banking App you have truly improved the app tremendously, from the biggest thing for me being easier navigation throughout the app!!! It was exactly what was needed!! If I had to say anything, not in such a negative manner I would take away stars, is if there was fee free ATM usage or the first 5 fee free ATM usages at the beginning of the month, would be great. Other than that a Great App!!

Didn't want to switch accounts, however the app seems like it could definently be beneficial to those who use it. I needed to cancel and the customer service staff was very professional and helpful. They walked me through every step and were very prompt with their responses. I would recommend this app to anyone who needs a checking account or a payday advance.

Would give 5 stars but their customer service seems to consistently confuse themselves on what the issue at hand is. Although their service is usually quick and in the end gets settled, it's a bit time consuming because of the chat or email. Only service. Different agents will pick up throughout the process instead of having one from beginning to end

I believe the general theme about this app is that it doesn't work, as I read review after review!! I have installed then uninstalled then reinstalled and then installed the update. After doing all of that, it still gets stuck after I enter the code sent on the confirmation code page. At first, like many others, I was getting the error, "Something went wrong." Now it gets stuck after entering the sent code. IT really needs to fix this problem!! I'M DONE!!!

Overall it is a great app. There are a few things I wish were improved such as working with Plaid for connectivity with other apps. The increases on advances aren't very clear. I have been stuck at $130 even tho I pay back on time everytime, I deposit a lot of money and am a premium subscriber. Also, the international fees really add up. Other than that, I like the banking experience.

I just switched to B9, and I have to say that the customer service here is top-notch, and I've been really pleased with everything so far. I highly, highly recommend them!! Update: They are a ripoff that doesn't send you your debit card but then charges you every time you use an external account to access your money. DON'T DO IT! I did contact customer service multiple times and received form letters and a sorry, not sorry response each time.

There's a fee for everything. They make it nigh impossible to cancel your account. They'll also constantly log you out the moment you so much as open another app. The way in which they dupe you into moving your direct deposits over to them is extremely deceptive. I've banked with quite a few institutions over the years. I never saw anything this greedy or sneaky. It's not a bank. It's a glorified paywall. EDIT: When you thought it couldn't get any worse, it stopped working. My money's trapped.

Was really great at rescuing me from major fraud. They acted very swiftly to make sure I was refunded for any loss quickly. I've been using B9 for 2-3 years now and I've actually grown to like them a lot now. Especially after that save! Yes, their fees for bank to bank transfers are a little higher than others so i suggest you read their fee schedule before you sign up so you know what you are getting into.

This is the best app for getting advances as well as the easiest plus you unlock a higher limit with your next direct deposit. The reason for giving only 3 stars is because of the monthly plan that's required along with its ridiculous price. Also, because B9 is not a bank, alot of companies either don't accept them for bill payment or charges a higher fee when using them as a payment method.

This app has a few...intricacies...that are tough to swallow at first, such as added fees when sending money to cash app, and the tip option presenting itself twice, which comes off as a little tricky. But after using it for several months, it has grown on me. The app is quick to update your available balance and deposits, the customer service is very easy to work with, and there are no petty penalties or restrictions if you are a day or two late paying back the cash advance.
