After the previous update, it was difficult to stop the recording with the volume down button, but at least the app still worked. After the last update, the app doesn't record anything anymore. I didn't touch anything. I will change my rating back to 5 stars when this is fixed. 20/3 update: now it works again.

After the latest update the app suddenly doesn't respond to volume down to stop recording. And doesn't always properly respond to volume up to start recording. Before the update it was direct and working just fine. Idk what happened and I checked all settings and can't figure it out. Update: followed suggested fix. It works now but still not as efficiently as before. Still takes multiple volume button presses to have an effect. Waiting for the next update 🙏🏼

I think there is a bug on version 10.1.97, sometimes when i open the app on offline mode(without internet connection) its direct me to a google play store, in order to use the app i need to turn on internet connection back. Please don't make the app use internet connection.

After the update it no longer saves videos to the gallery even after seeing that it's recording when you stop the video disappears and it used to be the best am using OnePlus 8T. Kindly advice bse it's one of my favourite apps please

For some reason I only get a black screen when recording video. Would love to make this a 5 star rating if anyone can offer a fix to this issue. EDIT 4: I reinstalled but same thing. I will email you screenshots of all of my settings along with a couple of test videos asap.

Can't view video? I'm sure I'm missing something, but I can't find any instructions to actually view the videos. Only some random message "No default player selected", but no options, menu item, or explanation. ~ So you want me to "fix" my review then email you? I thought that was how reviews work; you try something & then rate your experience. I downloaded it, tried to use it, spent a lot of time searching for answers within the app & site. Great response time but not sure about the tone.

The app developer was very responsive and polite, so I wish I could rate it better, but I can't recommend this app. It has failed to capture video a number of times and also often requires restarting my phone to get the app to release. Hopefully he improves the functionality and stability with future releases.

Great app at a reasonable price. Excellent for collecting video and audio evidence in emergencies. I really like that it continues recording when the screen is locked, and can capture two cameras at once (front & back of phone) Most of the negative reviews here are due to peoples own hardware limitations or it not having weird features that the dev might not want to build

3 stars. COULD BE 5. Lots of options. Truly background stealth. Motion sensor option. Baby monitor option. Camera tweaks. HOWEVER! Every time app updates- my settings all go away and I have to set the app up from start to finish and reconfigure storage options. With frequent updates ( Always a +) this happens a little too often to just let it slide. Truly an amazing job on the rest of the app. Fix this and will rate 5

I had a rough start die to me not reading the instructions. This is a very powerful, well written and smooth working app. Very much worth the $6.99 U. S. The customer service is OUTSTANDING! I have never gotten such personal, quick, and caring support on an app. It is very powerful and can do lots. It is easy to get started however. To use the advanced features you will have to read, any question will be answered quickly by the person who wrote it, I believe. He is a real pleasure to deal with.

Great app, from all the similar apps I have tried this one is the best. It actually works. The big deal is most other apps do not handle the 4gb file limit well. This one you can easily set it to record smaller files and it works well on my old Samsung S8. The next step will be to buy the premium so I can save it to a microSD card on the phone. Keep up the good work!

This is a very good app. The only problem is this: Every time the recording stops and ends, it emits a loud alert sound. I've have turned every sound tab to no sound, or off, which is found in the app settings. I then turned all sound settings to off on my cell phone settings. I still get this stupid alert sound. It's annoying as hell, and actually infuriating. There is no way to be stealth, which is what I thought was one of the purposes of the app. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This app is well made and I like the customizable ness of the app and it works really well the only problem I had with it is that it was hard to turn off the vibrate when image captured thing but I figured it out I also like the interface but the dark mode could be a little darker in my opinion but overall great app! Also thank you for making it free as the other apps with the same capabilities and level of customization cost money. Good luck and don't get the coronavirus

When I first downloaded it onto my Samsung A52, it work great. It was exactly what I was looking for - the ability to record videos in the background without anyone knowing, and on top of that there were some really neat features. There are other apps out there that do something sort of similar, but they don't have the ability to zoom. BVR has tons of settings and features that I think make it stand above just about anybody else's app… when it works . Unfortunately, for some odd reason the recordings now stop after 1 second, then restart, then stop again after 1 second, then restart. I thought maybe it was my phone, so I actually bought the upgraded Samsung S22 Ultra. Today the start and stop recording happened over 300 times in 1 hour, and only 5 or so of the 300+ recordings had more than 15 seconds of video. There are other quirks that are starting to happen as well. I've tried every possible setting I could find that would make a difference, not to mention I've reinstalled the app multiple times, and I even communicated directly with the developer. He was also at a loss for the cause and had no solutions that worked.. If this app worked properly, I would give it 10 stars because of the strong feature set. But unfortunately, I have to discontinue using it because it is not reliable. I never know if I'm going to record the video I need successfully or not. Sometimes it works flawlessly, other times it is completely messed up. I give it 5 stars for features and functionality, but only 1 star for reliability. If the developer can fix the bugs in the app, I will gladly adjust my rating.

This app used to be great. There must have been a recent update. I recently re-downloaded on two phones of mine. One would not allow the volume to be turned up on all apps, including YouTube. The other would not allow the volume to be turned down on all apps, including YouTube. The only way I could fix both was to delete the BVR app. Will reconsider my rating back to 5 star once issue is fixed. Unfortunately, this is not something that can be ignored

It reminds me of the old BVR. I was really upset when that one went away after I paid for it. The main thing I feel this one is missing is the ability to automatically switch between night vision and regular vision. Also, audio will stop working after 30 minutes during a recording and never pick back up. The "Listening" feature is also very annoying. I want it to record when I press record and continue recording until I stop it. I've missed critically important recordings.

I was a lil bit skeptical about this app when I first downloaded it. It's easy to use and gives you option to set up between the different cameras on your phone. The interface is pretty simple and will run until you stop it. I've seen some negative reviews and I think the performance might be based on what phone you have. After a week with the app I decided to purchase the premium version not because I needed the extra featurea but to support how good the app is
