Great interface, but for some reason, it kept saying my pictures of myself weren't valid, and i literally couldn't do anything because of it. All of my images were fine, but no matter what i put, it said "you cant have this as a profile picture". Not only that, the actual interface for editing the pictures was absolutely infuriating, i couldn't even order them the way i want!

Used to be pretty good, but has gotten really buggy lately. The app doesn't work sometimes. And it randomly opens and closes in the backround forcing the app you are using to minimize. It's super annoying. I'm updating this becauee even though it's not as buggy, it's still unusable because now there are ads every 4-5 swipes. Instead of spending time with the app, the ads make me shut it down out of frustration after a few swipes.

App was great until they took my money. I paid for a one-time premium, and never had auto-fill activated. I check my bank balance and I see Badoo had taken money out multiple times. This is far from okay, and I would like my money back. EDIT: As of 01/23/2020, I am still being charged excessive amounts of payment despite having already terminated my account. None of the amounts reflect the original $1.99 subscription I initially signed up for prior to. The most recent charge is $8.97.

The ads are so bad and frequent, it motivated me to: make a review about it, and delete the app. I had zero success with it anyway. I understand that ads are necessary. The issue is that they are very abrupt, frequent, and due to how and when they appear on the screen, they are really annoying compared to other apps. Considering that I didn't get any results anyway, the app was not worth putting up with the ads. One time I swiped, got an ad, swiped just once more, and got ANOTHER AD. Ridiculous

Searching through profiles is more difficult and time-consuming than any other app. Even though you said a location they will give you people and other states or that are across the country. The app really isn't user friendly when searching, showing columns of women instead of one woman at a time, they do have a carousel option but the buttons at the bottom change location so simply scrolling through is not user friendly. Not promoting, but hinge seems to be the best out besides tinder

The app was good, but now it seems the creators are becoming greedy. There is a subscription fee to unlock some features, but then even though you're paying a monthly fee, other aspects are still pay for use. For example Just recently there has been added a cost to see if your message was read by whomever you sent it to. I had never seen this before. SMH! 🤦🏽♂️

This app's previous versions a while back used to be completely free to message anyone. Now they've gotten greedy just like so many others. You have to pay to message anyone that hasn't "liked" you. So you can really message very few people on the app without paying! The app wants to charge you for different subscriptions, pretty much everything! And in response to the app creators' response to my reasons for my rating, you CANNOT message mostly everyone. You need to upgrade or pay for credits.

Disappointed- used to be a pretty good app, but now you pay for premium, not a small sum, then you have to pay more just to send someone a message. You can't even search and 'like' someone. It's a random process designed to keep you looking. What's worse is premium members get unlimited swipes in this random process, but others do not. Good luck with 2 people matching. If I had understood this I wouldn't have paid. Also, there are countless bots on the app. I gave 2 stars for the interface.

This app is fine for dating, lots of people, but it is VERY buggy. If I switch to another app, like google, I have to restart badoo. I cannot switch back. It'll say I'm in "offline mode" if I don't. It almost NEVER gives me notifications when I receive a message or get a match (but sometimes it does). When I hit send, it'll send the same message twice. It's just riddled with bugs. The only reason I'm not giving it one star is because I've actually met some pretty cool chicks here. Fix your app.

It is what it says it is. It is a swiping/dating app, and it's pretty simple to use. It's just annoying to use also. For people nearby and live stream, there is no real concept of "nearby. " It needs to sort by distance. The bump feature needs it's own category, so you can better keep track of people you bumped into. Also I get the notification about a bump about an hour later. Guys can practically not talk to anyone without upgrading. Not sure why who favorited you requires upgrade.

Filters reset every time I open this app, and ontop of that, the filters they do have are not that great. For example, if I adjust the filter to 50 miles, it will show that there's no one within 50 miles, but when I make the distance much farther, it's suddenly finding people within 30 miles, great...but that doesn't help when the majority are thousands of miles away. This app, just like all the apps of its type is a waste of time and money. Move along.

It's a decent enough app. Functions how one would expect. However, one thing that's really annoying about the app (and I mean annoying to the point I may change apps) is it changes your filters. More specifically age and distance. I don't want to date too much younger than me it's weird and I set the distance from me for a reason. There is no valid reason for the app to change your filters for you. If the devs want that setting in there the least they could do is add a turn off function for it.

This app is great but lacking a few features. As a software engineer, having the option to only show people less than 50 miles from you should have been implemented a long time ago. I'm sick of mostly being shown people that are 80+ miles away, which from where I live, is a completely different state! I live in the capital of my state, there are lots of people here, show them to me. edit2: the app is not capable of setting radius, only sets location in one setting of the app. other than that, age

I've met lots of nice women on here, and this app is mostly free, which is nice. It let's you post many pics too. Bad side there's lots of trans with no filter, there should a separate section for them, you should be able to filter them out if that's not your preference. People show up in your search, and encounters that you've already blocked which really ruins the experience. Otherwise a great app.

Dating apps are a numbers game, the more swipes the better the chances. With such few free swipes a day, it would take literally years to find someone. It's not worth paying for, and completely useless as a free option. Which is strange, because normally dating apps want clients to use it for hours at a time. But it only takes 5 minutes to go through the free swipes and then there's nothing left to do. Not the best option when there are other apps.

Latest update removed the ability to favorite potential swipes. They want to make sure if you see someone you like, that you have to pay to get in touch. Otherwise, they'll only ever show up when you exhaust your free likes and chats. Many profiles are hidden and pushed way down in the search on the area based search. There's never an issue finding foreigners who you can't possibly meet under any reasonable circumstances, though. It's a bait and switch app designed to make money, not connections

Without premium, every 8 profiles you get an ad. Most of the time it is an annoying full-screen ad. You know, the kind that blares sound at you and you have to wait to skip? Also, your filter settings other than age and distance NEVER save. Every time you open the app they clear. Lastly, you can just set your location where ever. Lots of people from asia with US locations and some even tell you in their profile they aren't in the US but just lied about their location.

Limited options! after I set basic filters, age, orientation, and distance, there's been nobody to swipe on for days, just a prompt to update my filters, which are already set outside my comfort zone. Also, everyone is "photo verified," but when you match with someone and send a message no response even when they're online, what a waste of time. I'm deleting my profile and requesting a refund

I just want to submit feedback for improvement. There's no dedicated area to see who you liked AND who liked you together. For some conversations, there's no heart button or ability to send a message without paying credits. The unmatched button only shows up for some users. Also I get notifications that someone saw my profile, then I'll go in the app and check the notifications tab and nothing. There's definitely a lot of bugs and key features that need to be addressed, otherwise its a great app

Badoo is better than Tinder, there's an issue with men posing as women. Key features like seeing mutual likes and sending messages without credits are lacking. Bugs persist, like notifications without follow-through. Limited options and persistent ads plague the experience. Filters don't save, and location deception is common. The latest update removes the ability to favorite matches, pushing users towards paid features. Profiles are often hidden, favoring foreigners over local matches.
