Love this game...have had it on my devices several times over the years. Love that you don't have to spend money on it to play...many things will just take more time to advance but I can live with that. I have noticed more pop up ads for their other games more than they used to...sometimes I feel like the goals could be a little better and I wish old appliances from past goals would either be available or cleared off the game as there's so much content locked up with no option to use in this.

It's glitching, reloads everything I do as if I didn't make changes or touched anything. It gets stuck on the loading screen when you click on any option. Frustrating. I've played this almost 10 years ago and re-download it lost my old progress of course. Buy lately these past two weeks there's been issues all around the app. It needs to be fixed.

The sync issue is really bad which causes you to lose food you started or changes made. I find I'm closing the game and opening just to make sure my food is still baking, especially during goals. Very annoying because it happens over and over again!!!! I've also lost gems that I cant get back and have requested from developer but they couldn't care less. It's a shame because this used to be a fun game. Now it's just incredibly annoying. Don't waste your time getting sucked in!

I've been a faithful player of this game for many years. There's something about the simplicity of the game and it's relaxing nature that brings me back for more! However as of recently there have been way to many glitches. For example, I'm trying to complete the "Whimsical World" challenge from the character Natasha however when I go to the store to by the tiles and wallpaper they are nowhere to be found! Also We need more time to complete some of these challenges! 1/26/21-still no big fix

Getting a bit silly with the endless goals. As soon as you finish one goal a new one starts. Need to have a bit of time between them. Then there's the amount of items you need to build one oven/stove. It's ridiculous. When sending gifts to neighbors or asking for an item, would like to be able to select all at once and not click on each one individually.

My experience is just like everyone else's in these reviews. I have been an on and off player for 5 years now, game has not changed at all. While it's good it has the nostalgic feel, it's also boring. I cook my food, serve, tend to my neighbors, then leave the app. The syncing issue is just as bad as people said. I'm trying to finish this goal of King's Sweet dish that takes 22 hours to cook. As of 2 days now, the syncing issue caused the dish to restart 3 times. Restaurant story is worse.

I love this game! It is so much fun to pass the time. However, I have some issues. My game randomly disconnects from the server which then undos anything I did on the last few minutes such as setting up food on the oven or drink maker. Or sometimes I will come check on my food, and it won't be making anymore since the game disconnected from the server. Also, I never get any notifications from the game at all. Notifications are set up through the app and in settings and nothing. Please fix!

I really liked this game. Lots of really neat challenges and I enjoy the decorations. Well, I had a situation happen in life and I was unable to play for awhile... logged back on and found that you cant play a challenge EVER again if you missed it. So certain items are locked and you can never win them. Some ovens are worthless to build because the food items are locked due to a challenge. I absolutly HATE this and think they should open past quests for people.

The game is fun, but the ads and glitches are out of control. Too often I've left the game and returned to find my last changes were reset and voided. Items I've been cooking for HOURS are set back to the beginning or have been cleared from the stoves altogether ; food will be finished and set on the counters only for the game to glitch and clear the counters while keeping the coins I spent to cook the food in the first place...It's a huge waste of time, in-game progress, coins, etc.

Been playing this game for years! It's so addicting! But the 2 star rating is for the pop up goals going haywire every so often and won't let up for like a day! Then resto and bakery came out with these oven that take 100 parts to make each. You can earn parts from cooking in your collectibles section but once the goal is done, so is the option to help with your parts! Now I'm stuck with 15 ovens that'll take me forever to build!! What idiot came up with that idea?!

Update: Absolutely hate the new goal format. Takes the fun out of goals and becomes more like a stressful chore. Many neighbors have quit. *** Just started playing a few days ago. Similar to fashion story which I also love. Only complaint I would have is the pop ups on the goals I have already completed. It's rather annoying and interrupts game play. I also like that I can watch ads to earn gems, wish that was on Fashion Story also. Very fun and addictive game.

I love these games!!! I have multiple Storm8 games and have been playing for years across multiple devices and accounts. I would have given this game 5 stars except that when choosing neighbors to send gifts and ask for help is tiring and just takes too much time. I have a lot of friends so sending gifts and asking for materials takes forever. It would be awesome if there were a way to select all neighbors with just one click instead of clicking each one individually.

The game is definitely entertaining but the gameplay is questionable at times. For starters, I don't like how they don't have confirmations when you're about to buy things because I just wasted 24 gems on this package for an item that I had no interest in. I also wish that you can preview an item before you buy it even if you don't have enough coins/gems for future planning. Another thing is tipping, it should be more efficient and take less time. Maybe there should be a "Next Neighbor" button.

I've played this game for many years now, it's fun and addicting. It does have many issues that need worked on though. It sometimes has a reset glitch on the goals, so frustrating! 🙄🙄 game says I never made that food or completed that goal that it had just said I completed. This game would be so much better if it had an offline mode. Annoying pop-up ads. Now the game lets me play for about a minute or 2 and then it force closes, not saving anythng. Uninstalling again sinceit won't let me play.

Please arrange the gifts so that food and basic parts are first. Goal parts can come after. It takes five minutes to scroll if you're gifting food. Also, the goals are super crazy and hard now. I dont do them anymore. I really like the game and have been playing for a long time. Just a few changes would make it easier. The glitching problems mentioned below are also a big issue and very annoying, as well as the ads. Less please.

I have played this game for many years but am almost ready to uninstall it. The goals used to be fun. Now, you are requiring way too many parts to build stoves, and the number of recipes for the time alloted is ridiculous. I have not finished a goal in over a year without using gems to buy the prize. Maybe this is your intention but a lot of my nbrs. have quit playing or quit doing goals.

Charming. Can play at own pace without too many tasks and distractions, but there are a lot of goals that sometimes get in the way. Creative and often generous. Food and drink designs are well done. Would like to customize avatar and sort recipes by cooking time. Would like the timed-out graphic changed from a gross fly to a smoking, burnt pot. Would also like to see shorter cooking times and appliance limit removed. Requires for a lot of diamonds at times. Overall, a fun baking shop game.

Needs to be updated for newer platforms. Too many glitches, crashes. I couldn't get through five missions. It's such a shame. I loved this game years ago and back then, I'd spent quite a bit of money on the games: this one, restaurant story, fashion story, castle story, dragon story, and nightlife story. I really miss all of them. Now that they're offered to me, I can't play them because of my newer phone' os platform. Please update them.

It's a really fun game. A much needed quality of life improvement is that we need to be able to sort/ filter in each menu by several factors like: style, price, time, and type. A total audacity to the game is that in order to send a food related gift to someone I have to click the next arrow like 100x times and if I mess up at any point I have to start over. Pleeeeease fix this 🙂

I loved this game when I first played it but its frustrating that there have been no updates. For one: your food spoiling so you have to start over. Two: not being able to tip and then move to the next person. Three: have 6 game install requests without an option to discard. My phone isn't compatible with most of them anyway. Four: the ability to decorate with more freedom. You have to pay for everything and it limits a lot of potential game play.
