Not sure how this app's newest feature upgrade made it out of testing, but it rendered the app into garbage! It will not show my pets in the dashboard, and when I go to "my pets" to toggle them on the UI toggles it back off! You can't do anything meaningful in the app that fits its purpose, which renders it useless. Do not waste your time until they care enough to fix these issues.

Honestly, the app has a lot of potential, but it can be so glitchy and difficult to work with that it causes a lot of frustration. Both of our cats have the same wellness plan, but the site says one of them is ineligible for a comprehensive exam (even though the plan includes two). The app needs some serious maintenance, but if you can get it to work, it's convenient.

The app is great but it does not sync. I set an appointment online (by way of an email reminder) because I forgot I had the app. Due to work, I needed to change the time so, I went to the app. I could not find the appointment. I set a new appointment for a more convenient time. There was no cross reference alert notifying me of double booking. They should consider syncing online logins with the app.

The old app was a lot more user friendly. With the new changes made to the portal, it has become incredibly inconvenient. As someone who has multiple OWPs, I was able to go into the portal and select the plans I need to pay. However, the new portal makes me initiate a new payment for EACH animal which is redundant and very time consuming. Aside from that, access to records is available at the tips of your fingers!

The app is fine for basics like making an appointment or checking history, but overall it's not very helpful. You can't modify the wellness plan (even though it provides the option it won't actually let you change it online, you have to call). You can't edit your pet's name. There's also always an "alert " notification that something is overdue but when I click to check it out everything is up to date. It's usually easier just to call the store and talk to someone.

I'm very torn with the review because I love the app and have used it very successfully in the past. Recently though I can't seem to log in. It keeps spinning and will not fully log in. I am able to get through the Facebook login page but then it just spins. I have deleted the app and downloaded again twice but to no avail. Maybe once this is fixed i can fix my review. ***Update*** issue was fixed and i am happy once again 😃

Great app, needs a few tweaks like first screen when creating a general issue appointment, you have to pick one of the items but there is no other option when it's not of those. A few other things in issue creating like time slots not obvious, schedule one day and it does not warm you that you can't and automatically picks the next day. Confusing

Crash everytime I tried to log in. Only works if I close the app, reopen it, and try login for the second time. Does not have the option of "stay login", so have to manually do that every time I use the app. (Update) The app is convenient to check when the vaccines and exams are due. It's also very easy to make vet appointment and chat with online vet 24/7.

When it worked it was great but the vast majority of the time this app sucks cause it won't open. I get error messages whenever I try to sign in. I've tried resetting my password hoping that would give me a way to get around this issue, but that only ends up with me being told I've received an email that I actually never get. If this app wasn't so glitchy it'd be great but as is it's literally the most frustrating thing ever. The uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't seem worth it.

This app was a better experience than using the previous design of the website, but still very slow, prone to reloading and taking you back to a top-level section when deep in a navigation path, and has weird issues like the biometric login not working. You choose to use your thumbprint, it accepts it, and then just never leaves the login screen.

Updated: We have reinstalled with the new app. It is much better. Not as slow. Thank you for listening to comments and fixing! Very slow & unresponsive. In the past the app had worked fine, just dates never match what our Banfield has. The past few weeks we aren't even able to get the app open. Much easier and quicker to call. Banfield. App had been uninstalled.

I love that all of my animals information is available to me through this app, and that I can schedule an appointment through it. The calendar for scheduling appointments isn't there most user friendly though. If you choose a date that is not available, you have to go back and individually click on every date to see if it is available before scheduling.

App is always glitchy and makes simple tasks difficult to accomplish...just took me 3 attempts to book an appt for my dog because it kept kicking me off the app when trying to confirm the appt. This is just one of many past issues. Since the beginning this app has always had issues and it's easier to accomplish your tasks by either calling in or showing up to the location. When it does work however, it is neat because it provides a lot of your pets health records/history and reminders.

It was a great app to start out with, I could see all the information of my cats' shot records and medical procedures done and I loved it. But now when I open the app it won't load anything, not even my appointments or my cats' profiles. I tried logging out and logging back in, nothing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no change. This app is super buggy, please fix it. Would also be better if it had all the same access as the website does.

It just took me 45 minutes to schedule an appointment because the app would freeze up trying to pull date availability for appointments, which it tries to do every single time you select a date. The first time I got the the final "make appointment" button the app crashed completely upon clicking without making the appointment and I had to restart the entire process. whatever system they are using to pull availability needs an overhaul.

Literally cannot use this app to schedule an appt! If this is the upgrade, please take us back to how it was 2 yrs ago. It spins forever pulling the next available date, and when choosing the date you want it does it again only to close the app entirely when you want to look at specific doctors. I should be able to click the location & search by specific doc to show their specific availability OR just click the calendar & pick a time. I can't do it either way. Easier to call the office

App is functionally useless. My pets don't show up on the dashboard, and when I go to the "my pets" to hit the toggle to show them (they're in there) the toggle turns itself off a second after I turn it on. So I can either re-add a brand new pet to book appointments for an existing one and ignore the app and can the clinic. Note that their website is just as bad.

Trying to do anything in this app is impossible. Anything I try and schedule an appointment it crashes. If you want any documents or information off the app then you're better off not trying because its a nightmare to get off if you can even get there without the app dying. Signing in is so buggy I've given up on multiple occasions and just used their slightly less buggy website. Just an absolute trainwreck

edit: 2/2024 I had my account reset and re-registered. things seem to be working much better so far for me (website and app). thank you to the support team! - The app is glitchy and serves almost no purpose except taking up memory on my phone. I still (since march 2022) can't even log in properly bc it keeps telling me to change my password but when I do, "an error occurs" ... I've been told to contact web support, and I'm awaiting a response.

Just becoming unusable! Logs me off every time. Can't schedule appointments. Can't use chat features. I try the website, it tells me to be ready for a new banfield experience. By doing so, I need to reset my password. After doing so, it never passes that prompt. It's always stuck in a loop. Becoming so frustrating!
