Am on Android 11 Beta. When trying to log in it will say "Oops! Something sent wrong." The entire time today, was fixed and then a week later (today) it came back. I have deleted storage and cache, also have restarted my phone and reinstalled the app. Still the same. Another issue, when I open another app then this app will reopen instead of being on the conversation it was just on. It has to reload instead. I didn't exit the app just switched between them.

This app has great features but it can be pretty buggy too. I try and press a message to read and reply and the app opens and sits there spinning forever. Additionally, the app is crazy slow. Idk what all data is being fetched, but all I really want to do most of the time is approve friend requests and do chats. Shouldn't take near as long as it does.

Absolutely trash. This "upgraded" security is awful. It refuses to login. And when it does login, it logs out by itself within a minute or two. I'm honestly surprised that it isn't redirecting me to an in app store where I can buy automatic logins. Blizzard is a garbage company that used to be great. Good riddance.

The guide is not efficient by any means, especially for a first time user. I never wanted an authenticator or to download this app. My account went through "suspicious activity" so after wasting much of time between going back and forth on devices, I know have to deal with this unwanted level of security every time I sign in. The instructions to complete or undue are not specific. There is no imagery to show. It's not enjoyable or relaxing, I start playing my video games annoyed.

It was working for some time, but since I got logged out (for reasons I don't know) years ago, I've not been able to log back in the few times I've tried. I tried once more now, but, despite the information being correct and authenticator approved, it's still not logging me in. There might be a flash or something, then the app goes right back to the lpgin screen. I'm uninstalling. It's worthless. Idk what's up but I'm not gonna bother figuring it out.

Requires Chrome (on android) to be default browser. Logging into App, which is now the authentication method, requires logging in and authentication thru a browser login, which then checks the app, and then logs you into the app. It's a bit nuts. Was thinking of getting back into wow, my old physical authenticator is dead, setting this app up is an excersise in frustration. I'm not going to change my default browser just to login. Don't you have phones?

It was nonstop bugs preventing me from even logging in. The app just endlessly "tries" to log in but never makes progress. I had to research endless afte completing login puzzle after login puzzle. All this just to be able to chat with friends and see the Blizzard store for NO reason. I can already text my friends and I don't need the store on my phone. Why can't I just add the authenticator to my Microsoft authenticator app like literally everyone else allows.

I only have this for the authenticator. Not by choice, the authenticator's being retired. No wonder they did that, because this garbage app tries so impossibly hard to turn on push notifications. I found one popup that appeared after hitting 'continue'. Close the stupid popup, get back to 'continue', and it... opens the same f'ing popup. Endless loop. Great job making things worse.

Great while it works... The app is very convenient for keeping in touch with friends while away from your computer. But in my experience, when it messes up it messes up BIG. I just spent a full day stuck on login screen because "something went wrong." The issue randomly fixed itself which is good, but I am not the only person to have this issue. Apparently the issue has existed since late 2019 and has yet to be fully fixed. However, I love the app aside from this issue so 4 stars. :)

I already have to make a separate account for every single thing I do. Forcing me to use YOUR app for 2 factor authentication instead of allowing any 2FA authenticator app to be set up is petty, provides no additional security, and is a massive waste of my time. Not only is the process of logging in to the app ridiculously complicated (have to do it twice after enabling authenticator???), setting up the authenticator is more complicated than enabling standard 2FA with a simple QR code.

This app used to let me message people on my friend list, but it doesn't even have the battle net interface anymore. All I can do with it is get authentication codes and manage my account settings. And it doesn't do either of those well. What was the point of merging the social app and the authenticator app if you were going to make both worse?

It seems to be very hit or miss if it even works. I haven't been able to use the app at all for several days as I'm stuck on the "still connecting" screen before it just says "something went wrong." At this point, it's faster to wait 10 hours to get home and log onto my desktop than it is to get the app working. If it does end up loading in, it shows 0-1 friend and no chat conversations even tho I have 60+ friends.

The app is fine when it works, which half of the time it doesn't. More often than not I try to open this app and it says "Oops! Something went wrong" and refuses to actually open. Sometimes it gives me the option to log in after...but that just causes the same pop-up. This happens more often when I am on a low speed connection, which makes me think it's pulling an unnecessary amount of bandwidth just to log in.

If you are encountering the infinite still connecting screen, for some reason you have to clear the cache and data from the app's storage from your settings. Also I've seen it helps if chrome is set as your default browser. Why do those files keep you from logging in, and how are they created if you've never used the app before? Thats just modern day blizzard for ya.

It has you login using a browser every single time you launch the app. When trying to attach the Authenticator to your account, it forces you to login multiple times and it does not even confirm that it has been setup correctly or give any notification until you try to login on your computer, then you get a notification from the app which would signify that it has been set up correctly. In all, its a pointless app if for how difficult it is to login when you only need it for the Authenticator.

Whenever you attach the authenticator to your account, you instantly are unable to login. This remains the case regardless of what troubleshooting steps you take until you finally remove the authenticator from your account, to which you are then able to login again as per normal. With the previous program, there were no such problems. It is baffling to me how they can mess up so badly regarding the fundamental purpose of a program rendering it useless.

After being forced to switch half a year ago, I *still* cannot log in through this app. It simply refuses. Sometimes pressing "log in" takes me right back to the login screen. Sometimes it let's me enter an authenticator code, which will just endlessly spin after submission. Thank goodness the authenticator still somehow works for approving desktop login requests. But if anything happens to this app, I'm outright locked out of my account. I have no way to recover without this app. PLEASE FIX IT!

Hands down the worst authentication app ever made. The moment you set it up you're logged out and from what I can tell it's not even possible to log into the app past that. Even if I'm quick and copy paste the code and log in, it gets stuck in an in app browser. Absolutely pathetic from a company like blizzard, although it's par for the course for them.

I use this as a (mandatory) replacement for the old authenticator. In order to verify a login from my computer, I need to login to this app. Because I'm logging in from this app, it needs authentication. The way it bounces back and forth to a browser is inefficient and frustrating. If you use the other features in the app, it might be better for you. As someone who just wants to login to play WoW, it's bloat on my phone and doesn't work as well as the software it replaces.

Hate this app so much and want the actual authenticator app back. You know, the one that did one job and did it well, plus it had a widget so you didn't even have to open the app at all just to get a code. In terms of using this pos to chat with, message notifications don't work (though friends playing does) even with notifications wide open in both the app and phone settings. It also has to "reconnect" all the time, which takes forever. It's insane that this app is basically required.
