When compared to Line, Beem sounds like a great app with many helpful tools and features. I was excited to start my subscription and try out the new app. Unfortunately, after starting and paying for my subscription, I found out that nothing works. I'm unable to use Everdraft and I'm unable to add a debit card for the cash backs feature. The app is very glitchy and definitely needs some work.

Ever since becoming Beem, I've had issues. There was no response from support after multiple multiple attempts at reaching out. I've updated the app multiple times, uninstalled/reinstalled the app multiple times. No help. When I enter the verification code I still cannot enter the app and have been reaching out for over a week and no response or help. Beginning to feel like this is a scam.

So far it's pretty easy to use, the instant funding fees aren't too high compared to other similar apps, and I have no issues with the app bugging or kicking me out. I would have rated 5 stars if it weren't such a hassle to increase the amount you can borrow. I would have to keep borrowing and paying the subscription for nearly a year before I can bump from $20 to $50. Otherwise it's good in a pinch. Other pros: the app looks nice, the monthly price is very tame and it was easy to get set up.End

Terrible app, you will immediately be put on a "waitlist" to use the app, I have been waiting for at least 2 weeks, and it is ridiculous at this point I don't need the service all that bad. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Time!!!!! Apps like Empower, Dave, or cleo. Are a much better choice might be a bit buggy, but they can actually provide the services they offer 😉

Was in a bind, right before Christmas, and Beem came to my rescue. Thank you so much! Update: So many problems logging in. Constantly telling me my pin and phone number is incorrect, a charge to my account that i have no clue what it is for, and I can't log in to even attempt to talk to customer service. I will be disputing the charge if I can't access the app! This is ridiculous! I gave it a couple of days for them to fix whatever. I've updated the app multiple times, nothing.

When the app was Line it was fine, you could borrow $20 easily. It claimed that on-time payments would qualify you for more but that wasn't the case and I used Line for over a year. Still, 20 bucks is 20 bucks. Now it's Beem and I've been unable to login for over a week. I'm sure they won't have a problem drafting the loan repayment. I've contacted customer service, they replied multiple times with a generic, "sorrows" message and I'm still unable to login. Money Lion is better.

When it was Line, it was wonderful and probably one of the best of it's kind. I was approved for a Line quickly, paid it back and borrowed again easily. It helped my credit and my Line increased often. The moment it became Beem the issues began. I couldn't pay back my line so suddenly I was delinquent even though I tried everything to pay it back, even emailing the company (waste of time). It stalls, crashes, and now I'm uninstalling and trying again. From other comments I have very little hope.

Used to be good. Now, when I try to sign in, it asks for my location to be on. They absolutely SHOULD NOT require this information for me to move forward in the app. The problem is even after I allow my location (which I really didn't want to do) it still keeps me stuck at the location permission screen in app while it is buffering. Idk what's going on but 2 stars until you guys get it together.

This app used to be good and reliable. But now its trash and highly unreliable. It crashes, gets stuck, have to constantly turn off and on or install and uninstall. They used to allow you to get an advance no issue. Now they want to charge you a 9.99 fee. Which could be overlooked, except now there is no guarantee that you will get an advance now. But they will definitely make sure they take your money. Also the feature for a lower monthly fee of 2.49 does not even work. No suprise there!

Ever since this transition to Beem, I've had issues. The verification code times out every time. I've re-installed the app multiple times and still the same issue. Support chat is no help. It takes hours to hear back from anyone even though it says you should get a response within minutes; 20 minutes at most. I liked Line and rarely had issues but Beem and the lack of support is frustrating.

This app doesn't deserve any stars! Be very careful because if you link your bank account it does not allow you to delete it! Also they want you to pay $13 for a subscription to borrow $10!! Then if you want a "line of credit to "qualify" $150 you have to pay an additional $10. So $23/mo just to qualify and that's before the advance fees! You also have to jump through hoops to delete your acc. and even then you don't get a verification that it was deleted. Bad bad bad sus app do not fall for it!

Pros: Fairly easy to connect your account and card (via Plaid), pay for the subscription ($2.47). I was approved for $20 Everdraft and withdrew instantly for a fee (less than $5, paid when you repay it). Overall, pretty easy process for the cash advance. Cons: My only beef is with the app itself. Every time I open it, I usually have to update it, and even if I don't - it logs me out and requires me to login with a verification code each time, Nd I have to reset my security pin every time.

This app is so terrible. I just made an account for the 1st time, and it tells me after I set up a 4 digit pin. "This account has been disconnected. Link a new bank or account." I've never had a beem account. The worst part is it won't even let me add my bank or click the "skip for now" option. This app is absolutely terrible and glitchy.

Edit: I was originally part of "Line" when they changed to "Beem". I tried to download the Beem app when I got a new phone, but it put me on the waitlist for some reason. 2.5 years later, after zero app use and being locked out, they are now suddenly charging my bank account for "back due subscriptions". DON'T GET IT. Can't even use the app at all. It won't even let me log in or do anything. Just says I'm part of some wait list and gives me a 6 digit number like I'm in an eternal line.

Cannot even access the cash advance option. You clicc through the slides, and nothing. Hitting skip does nothing. And the customer service reps can't do or understand anything. They are completely useless. They just kept telling me to pay for the sudscriptin, when the issue was that I couldn't even get to the part where it asked me to pay. Terrible app.

Absolutely garbage, went through the awful sign up process only to find out you must pay a subscription to qualify. Paid a subscription saying I had 30 a month for it. Paid the sub, the amount dropped to 20 dollars immediately after subscribing. I then find out it takes 3 to 5 business days to get your money, but they had no issues taking the subscription fee immediately, in order to get it instantly it charges an extra 4 dollars and takes 48 hours to verify your card. Waste of time.

Outside of their service, their app is horrendous. Memory hog thats meant for mid to high range phones, which is very counterproductive to a app meant for cash advances. Every service opens a new app, every app deletes the last instance, so guess what, can't upload a card cuz if I take a picture, its a new app, thus force stopping the entire program.

This app is a joke. Originally installed long ago and it was unusable as it just said out of capacity for helping people daily so I eventually uninstalled as I got nothing. Now they sent an email months after the fact saying they got updated "Your wait has come to an end" so I reinstall and go through the process, mandatory precise location or you can't continue, Mandatory notifications or you can't continue, Mandatory ssn which makes sense given what it is. Then! No capacity is final page.

This app is completely broken. I used them often in the past. The past few months it simply freezes. Garbage. It's not the everdraft wait-list issue you're trying to push it off on either. I've used that before and am off the wait list. Your app is BROKEN. It freezes in every screen. Yet you want a subscription payment. Lol You should listen to the people giving you money. It's sad.

This app is completely useless. It says I've been approved for a $10 everdraft, but when I click the everdraft button, it just shows me a list of transactions. There's no option to accept the advance or withdraw any money. Edit: I have linked my debit card and still can't withdraw money. Deleting this worthless app!
