This app is broken. It worked fine until last month. Now, not only does it get permanently stuck at the opening splash screen, even after reinstall, I also started getting billed $26.95 all of a sudden, after BV lowered the cost to $9.95 since I didn't need 100 background checks every month. So now I get charged $9.95 AND $26.95, and I only have one BV account. Based on my recent experience and all these recent angry reviews, there's obviously a ton going wrong with this app and this company.

The application isn't very useful since most information on it is outdated or completely wrong. I tried the 7 day trial but forgot to cancel so they charged me for the month. When I called to cancel before they would charge me again, they cancelled the subscription on that day. I personally think I paid for a full month, I should have access for the remainder of the month or a refund. My forgetting to cancel this horrible subscription has cost money it isn't worth. I want a refund! Got my refund

12/10.. 6 stars.. highly recommend.. this app is fairly easy to use and continuously comes in handy, especially for personal safety. Customer service is so helpful and understanding once you get ahold of them. Their e-mail and direct phone number are available on every PayPal transaction, which made getting ahold of them quick and easy. Don't hesitate. Buy the membership.

Anyone who wants a deal of a locked in price of $9.95 per month that is currently subsc Tried to cancel my $28.xx subscription and couldn't figure out which email I used until I searched through all of my emails and found it. Tried to cancel the subscription through their website but I couldn't so I had to read Q&A to find out you have to call, email, or leave a request through their request form. I called and got offered a "locked in price" of $9.95 per month if I choose not to cancel today.

Edit: after contacting them via phone and email they still refuse to reactivate my account until this term is over. This entire app and site is a scam. Don't waste your money on it and don't trust them. Told them I wanted to cancel my account after the month was over and instead they just canceled my entire account and screwed me over. Now I'm spending over an hour with custmore service after being hung up on once already. This app and the customer service is absolute nonsense

This service is INCREDIBLY expensive for what it offers....I mean after the first month you really think it's worth 24 dollars a month? Then when I finally go to cancel the service I can't because of the way the website and app are designed. They make it so the only way to cancel is to email them with your membership ID or fill out a contact us form. This information isn't displayed anywhere easily accessible so I've been charged 3 extra months because this service couldn't return my email 😡

Do not subscribe. In order to cancel an automatic bill from Been Verified, you must call an automated number and participate in a 6-step process, complete with sales pitch to keep.you as a customer. Why? If the process is automated, why not incorporate it into your app? Why not a single step process? Here's why: Been Verified makes it as complicated as possible for you to cancel so they can keep the money flowing to them. Slimy business practices. Do not subscribe.

I paid for a month subscription on 31st then the beginning of the next month they tried not once more like every day for 4 days in a row when I had already paid. Plus they are a good choice to look up info but not the best I found one that can find you twice as much info but they are way more expensive. They emailed me twice and never admitted they did any wrong even though I sent them screenshots of the charges.

Been a member since March 2014. Bought "credits" back then as I used them every once in awhile for looking something up. They've been making it increasingly difficult to use the old credits that I brought when I signed up. Now They've made it entirely impossible. They app doesn't work AT ALL now until you have a subscription (which I don't want or need) but my "account" is supposed to and "app only" account. No thanks, just lost a 7 1/2 year account holder. (Not that you care)

I want a refund! I either get no results or I get results that are wildly inaccurate. I can't even find myself on this app! The results I get are profiles with correct pictures, but wrong phone numbers and home addresses. Or results with extremely limited information, even when using the "advanced" search. Sometimes I'll even check out a result that has information of a couple different people for one person! Zero stars. I want a refund.

Scam! Does your search, tells you that it has your results but asks for payment before it gives them to you, then gives you a bunch of people with the same name but not the one you were looking for. I searched for a 30 year old woman in as specific city and the app said it had my results but asked for payment. I paid for the subscription, then I was given a list of women between 60-71 that lived in various cities. They only had the name that i was looking for. Nothing else. They know it too!

App/website functions fine, though not able to gather what I was looking for. After participating in a trial, I ultimately decided it was not worth the high monthly fee to continue, so cancelled prior to my trial expiration. That said, once I requested cancellation they did so immediately - even adding a personal reply that was unique to something I stated in my note. I used BeenVerified many years ago, and find their customer service to be top notch. Even though I did not subscribe to the paid version, I would still recommend them.

If your looking up phone numbers, Names of friends, or just being nosey, and looking up random people. All the information on people you look up may not be 100% complete, there may be a few things missing, like addresses or phone numbers rhey didnt have very long, but it definitely gives you alot of accurate information on the individual your looking for. I would highly recommend paying for this app and its service.

App is decent when it comes to background search apps. It's somewhat accurate. However, it has a lot of annoying discrepancies within the app. For example, you may search a specific address and it will say it does not exist. However, check another app such as white pages, and it will pull up possible residents, then search those specific residents on beenverified, and THEN it pulls up the supposed non-existent address as being their current address in the records. Lots of things like that.

USELESS. I signed up for a 7 day free trial to find Info on a potential scam caller that has been harrasing. I saw that I could cancel anytime. No cancel option anywhere that I can find on the website and the app. Now I can't login. No info was given that I needed, even with unlimited features. All of my info is wrong too, with no way to correct it. Beenverified is just like every other service posting wrong information over many many years with no way to change it, remove it, etc. UNRELIABLE!

A lot of the results data is verifiably accurate once sorted out. The problem is that BV is constantly hyper_marketing. The screens (more so using a browser) are so full of "do this, do that, now, quick!" Instead, a concise presentation would be better and much less annoying! ALSO... I feel stiffed every month because I never use all 100 searches and the remaining are removed. Oh, and the price has conveniently gone way up too!!

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. I don't think I have ever done a review for an app, but I absolutely had to for this one. I previously was subscribed to monthly 15$ payments for the premium. I had it for awhile. I then I stopped because it was getting quite expensive. I then go back on to check it out . The price of the monthly membership went to $22!! Not only that but I can't search ANYthing unless I pay. Before, you could at least see SOME things. Now this new update has completely blocked everything

The service I think is valuable, I've used in the past and the results are always good. However csr has been a nightmare for this purchase. Made through Google Play and 3 weeks later and 4 emails and I still have no access. I have provided them with screenshots they asked for only to be asked for something else. I suffered a stroke last week and don't have the energy to play this game any longer. Requested cancelation from Google play. If they figure out issue I would recommend service,

It's been valuable at times, but I have a hard time restarting the service. I update my paying method and it won't work. Like others, I want to buy this, but the very mechanism to pay is faulty. This has kept me from purchasing the last several times. It drives me crazy. I even downloaded the app, which sticks on its title page. Now I'm worried that I'll have the same problem if I want to use it. I tried live chat several times, but mo one is ever there. I get transcripts of it in my email. 🫥

Doesn't work anymore! I've used this app for years and found it extremely useful. I stopped my subscription for a while and then I restarted it a few months ago. Now every time I go to use it it tells me I need a subscription. When I go to subscribe it tells me I already have a subscription . They've been taking $22 out of my account for the last 3 months. I talked to support about this. Now they want screenshots of my payments and all possible user accounts I might have. What a hassle!
