After four years in development, it's certainly worth the wait! Of note: you need to use the Google Messages app if you want to integrate regular old SMS/RCS into Beeper. That may change in the future, but if you're Google-averse, it's definitely something to keep in mind before you get *too* excited about having every chat in one app. Otherwise, it's been an excellent experience so far!

Pretty good so far, one thing is that I can't seem to get messages to stay connected, seems like when I go to the messages app it'll connect but once I haven't touched that app in a while beeper stops updating it and it shows a red dot. There's no battery optimisations etc. turned on for messages so can't seem to find a cure for that one.

The app works well. However, what would be really helpful is a sorting category function to group chats from the same integrated app together. Having chats from Whatsapp, Telegram, discord, etc. All jumbled together can be confusing. In addition, there doesn't seem a way to turn off notifications on the native app without affecting the notifications on Beeper. Currently, I get double notifications for the same message.

Solid experience so far. I've had issues with Signal unlinking which has caused missed notifications and I've had messages fail to send without telling me. I understand these are growing pains but I hope they fix these issues so we can have a unified messaging app. One feature request, could you allow custom notifications and profile pics for specific contacts? It's nice to be able to delineate the importance of a text message vs a meme sent on IG.

New complaint - Widget needs a redesign. It's currently a huge mess. When recieving shared YouTube videos for example via RCS or SMS, there are no Thumbnails displayed, just the link to the video. I'd like to know what a link is about before clicking on it. Also, when using WhatsApp or Telegram group chats, there is no way to mention someone with an @ Other than that, the app works great. I love that I can share one message to different messaging apps at once..

Multiple Inboxes, Unified! I could not imagine living without the Beeper app. It is simple to use, yet robust in it's features. It has been incredibly helpful in my multi-platform message management. Best of all, the team behind the app truly cares for their users. If you haven't unified your chat networks with Beeper, I suggest you try it (believe me, you won't go back!)

Almost there. Linking accounts worked pretty seamlessly. However lacking a few basic features in my opinion. First, there is no organization to the messages at all. To difficult to tell them apart. It would be nice if you added message counts to the same layout that is displayed when linking accounts. Second, I can't create group messages at all. This is a major miss. Needs to implement similar features in Google messages to creat and store groups. Last, no customization to your messages at all.

This has been awesome for me. I really love the app, it has almost ever chat network I need. I connected my accounts and it was much smoother than I expected. Speed seems great, I was just keeping my other message apps on while I have been trying this and I am getting messages at the same time. The only downside has been that it DRAINS my battery. I think I might use this on a desktop and stick to the native apps on my mobile 😞

I've been on the waitlist for forever, and now that I can finally use the app it looks very promising. Some feedback though: It doesn't seem like all my message history is loading in. Also, I'd love it if the network icons were a bit bigger and had the original colors to distinguish them a bit more, like the rainbow for Instagram and blue for Discord. Not having RCS support natively is an L too, but I think that's because Google keeps the RCS API private. Hopefully there's a workaround.

So far works as described! Telegram integration leaves a bit to be desired, but works well enough for me to see the potential! EDIT: So Instagram logged me out the day after writing this review and flagged me for automation. So that might be something to look into. I didn't really like the integration, easier for me to use the actual Instagram app. Still using SMS and Telegram.

Good start. Love the idea of combining the different messaging channels. But there is a lot of room for improvement. Particularly around customization. I'd love the ability to choose colors for messages (red for gchat, green for WhatsApp, etc). Generally just being able to distinguish which messages are coming from where. Give me some more options there, and this would be my default message app.

I really like how everything is linked on one spot and how clean the interface is. Furthermore, how it links to my watch, tablet, and laptop works very well. I had an issue where i stopped receiving Google messages, but after I relinked it, it started working fine after that. I also would like to see scheduled messages (I can't seem to find it on the moble version ( It could be somewhere, but I can't find it). I also wish I could see notifications and respond via android auto.Still a great app

Very easy to use. Does what it says it's going to do. If you like your apps to be simple & straightforward then hit the install button, you won't find a better app. The all in one messaging app to keep you connected and organized without cluttering up your home screen with a bunch of different apps. ***Excited to see what the beeper team does next.

Brilliant idea, clean layout. With the new update I cannot view videos I am sent. This is primarily an issue with Instagram reels. But wow - I've wanted an app like this for over 10 years, ever since I saw HTC One's page with all the messaging clients together. Snap integration in the future would be a killer feat - but I believe there's no way to incorporate third party usage of their messaging. Keep up the good work team!

Worked great for about a day. Now, it is constantly alerting me to old messages I have already marked as read (and alerting me to the same messages over and over), has huge delays between getting a message from slack/WhatsApp and when it sends me a notification, and only sometimes receives and sends texts (like actual sms/rcs). Great idea, but it's currently extremely unreliable.

Been using it for a few weeks (today is 5/4/24) and love it. I have my WhatsApp, SMS/RCS and FB Messenger all linked, and it works extremely well. It also allows me to use all these seemlessly between my android phone and my MacBook. I initially linked IG too, but found that not to be very useful so I unlinked it. Once every now and then an SMS won't send, but as soon as I send it again it goes through. The app has definitely simplified my messaging experience.

This app changed my relationship with how I message friends & family. I used to be resitant to downloading a different app so I can chat with a friend that prefers that app, but with Beeper it's so easy. Also, having a consistent interface across messaging services increases productivity. The app has a couple kinks to work out in the UI for connecting accounts, but the pros massively outweigh the cons. 5-stars for me.

Performance is really bad. Sometimes notifications don't occur until an hour after the message is received. Most of the time, when opening a chat, I must wait 5 seconds to several minutes for it to finish loading and the "sending unavailable" message to disappear. Sometimes the UI even completely locks up.

When you consider how drastically different each messaging service is, this works way better then you'd expect. Some apps do have weird issues (eg not all telegram features are supported), but that's understandable given the nature of each service itself. One feature I really would like to see is the ability to connect multiple accounts from the same service, eg multiple Telegram or Twitter accounts. That alone would be enough to convince me to ditch my other messaging apps entirely.

The onboarding process can be a bit difficult, taking multiple tries and requiring a PC to set up, but once you get through it, the app is amazing! Having one place where you can check all your messages is such a convenient tool. It has a few quirks, like not being able to answer incoming calls, limited sorting options, and hyperlinks instead of shared videos but it's a new app and I'm sure will improve over time. I'm not even sure how they make any money, so I'm amazed it free too!
