The app collects and send personal data to the big bus company. The purpose of the app do not justify the access it requires to run. Like others have written. You can't trust the locations of the busses. In short. The app only serve one purpose. Spying on the user and collecting data which the big bus company can sell to third parties.

The interval of the busses vary and there are no timetables. It was advertised as 15-30 minutes but the stop we waited at had an interval of 60 minutes. We only found out after getting in contact with support. The app only shows the position of the busses but the bus wljust stood at a stop for 40 minutes without any movement or estimated arrival time.

Purchased platinum tickets directly from their website for London. Had a very frustrating experience to say the least. Buses were running well over 30 minute intervals and both the red and blue lines ran in the same direction, which makes no sense. The app tracking didn't work for some buses. Lots of time wasted! Over 2 days, I was only able to use this service for one partial bus ride. When in London, don't use this tour. Try the Golden Tours buses; they were all over London both directions.

The app let us know that a race was causing detours and closures of stops. If that had been accurate or mostly accurate, it would have been okay. Had to walk over a block and get in front of the bus to get my group on the bus because they missed our stop, I used app to report issues first thing (waiting over 40 min at stop and then bus skipping it) but it took 2hours to hear back. Not impressed only about half the busses had guides and only 2 or 3 of those were pleasant.

Downloaded to follow the route and find the closest bus once off... (seconds time, a year apart or so) this time the expirience want too bad. I could follow the buses and have an idea when would they arrive, plus was easy to find the closest bus stop. Still a bit buggy and crashed a couple of times, but definitely useful :-)

Very useful to see where every bus is an what one has a live tour guide on. The guide was very funny and enjoyed what he was doing. Made the experience even better. The red route we went on differs to the app because of road closures, would have been nice if the app could be updated to reflect temporary changes.

Needs improvement on its Map section. Google Maps is already integrated so why don't this one has a search function?! It would be easier for those using this app to be able to search their hotel/home address or zip code in and see directions to the closest Big Bus. I ended up switching between Google Maps and this app just to be able to do so.

Dreadful. Google pay would not work. Location of buses stuck at 6-7 minutes, dropped 1 minute in the 20 that we waited. Couldn't find stop 23 because the app is wrong by some 150 meters.

Do not use this company. The ride is sparse and terrible...they never show up and yiu end up standing

Live tracking never worked. Which might have made up for the terribleness of their ability to stay even remotely on schedule. Red line with a person narrating was decent, but avoid the yellow line. This one only has a recorded message and it never indicates where to look left or right for whatever sight they are describing. Sometimes the recording gives the street address, but we all know how beneficial that can be. We had a group of 18 and that many unsatisfied customers on day 2.

Took the Bigbus sunset tour 7/2. We had 20 minutes at the Lincoln/Vietnam memorial. Driver Kevin stated to take time, he was in no hurry so go and enjoy. We are headed back to the bus in 19 minutes, and he is driving off. Had to Uber back....not sure I would use them again.

Downloaded for our bus tour in Darwin at your websites advice to see the schedule only for Darwin not to be available on the app. Very disappointing.

No more useful than the paper map of Budapest that I received. What's the point of an app where you can't even buy a valid ticket. You still have to go to an office to get the paper ticket. Also the real time tracking didn't work and they missed the opportunity to include location specific information.

ROME: Buying tickets in the app doesn't work for us. Bookings purchased at the bus stop show up as expired in the app. Live map doesn't show where most of the stops are. Doesn't show the yellow line. Mostly useless. UNINSTALL

absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. customer service agent refused to resolve my issue for 29 minutes. then issued a correction for my problem at 7:29. the correction was issued for 7:30pm. the bus driver then drove off without me. had the customer service agent not spent more than 20 minutes claiming to be unable to do what they ultimately did I could have gotten on the bus. I'm deleting the app, initiating a charge back and never using the service again

Took a tour today and attempted to use this app. Live tracking didn't always work and, even when it looked like it was working, it wasn't accurate. A stop was wrong in comparison with the pamphlet we received on the bus. All of these issues caused us to waste a good hour and a half of our one day tour. Disappointed in the app and the tour.

Was not very helpful. Audio via headphones play mostly music instead of a guided tour and information. Bus stop numbers shown on the app are not reflected on bus stop signs. The bus ended abruptly at the farthest point from our hotel, so we had to pick up a cab. It is listed that it ends at 5:45pm, but it ended at 5:00pm. Would not use this again.
