It would be 5 stars if I could sort the torrents and open my videos in any video player I owned.

The interface is awesome, but the functionality... it's really bad. I tried 5 different torrents from 5 different sources, all known to be well seeded and I have a good internet connection. All were stuck at 1% and only one managed to start downloading, with a laughable 30 kbps speed. Refunded. Sorry guys, I'll stick to the free version. I really wanted to give you my money, but...

Not a fan of new UI and the fact I have three steps to delete something is annoying and the lack of multiple delete option is annoying. Old version was faster to use and honestly had more function. If i did not request these features or lack there of I should be refunded for a service I did not request. Please allow for old format or I'd like my money back.

I don't understand this app. I had the original BitTorrent app and it was very easy to use. You are supposed to be able to type in a song your looking for and get a list of torrents to choose from. This app makes no sense. I searched for a song and it took me to a website that displays other websites. YouTube links and other links yet no BitTorrent downloads. What is this? Why is it so complicated. The original version was simple. Not happy at all so far.

Newest update removed functionality and made the app harder to use. No longer displays download speed, it's difficult to get to details for torrents. It's a pain to select which files you want in an individual torrent. Every time I try to exit the app it restarts, the only way is to force stop. If I try to select a torrent it turn white and nothing works, I have to force stop. The app absolutely sucks now. Why have an update that makes the app nearly worthless? I wish I didn't waste my money.

Can you please give us the options to turn off/mute 'helpful app notifications'. That would be very helpful

Solely based on the fact that it repeatedly opens itself numerous times each day without any initiation from myself. Otherwise it's a great app that does what it says.

Extremely disappointed. Used the free version for ages with no problems but this upgrade will not download period. I have tried every possible combination of ports and Torrent sites without success. I feel ripped off even for the small sum I parted with. Stick with the free version folks. And I would appreciate an answer from the boffins at source.

EDIT 06/11/19: Still not a huge fan of new UI, but most issues fixed.... As others have mentioned, really not a fan of the new UI, it's been dumbed down, for what reason I can't fathom, I can't see how many peers or DL speed anymore, it's really not intuitive, and if I'm downloading a folder with multiple files, I can't prioritise order as I could easily before. Sure, offer this new UI as "simple" view or something, but would rather have the old view, information and functionality back please!

Torrents won't initiate downloading as of updating to android 14. The pause option is unresponsive, and the only thing working is deleting the torrent that won't start and leaving the app. It's totally broken and unusable, which is very annoying for us who've paid for the pro version and, at least, expect the app to work correctly. I think we deserve at least that much and a timely update to correct this issue! Tbh the app functioned better before it's most recent update with skin changes, etc.

The selection of multiple items in a single torrent is broken. I try to only select the files I want to download but the app doesn't let me select them. And the play/pause button overlap the bottom item so you can't select that one also. Fix that and it's a 5 star app.

Amazingly, you've taken what used to be a good app (like ten years ago, steadily declining since then) and made it even worse—now I get frequent notifications that can't be turned off cause you haven't implemented the proper controls, either in the app itself or in the Android notif. settings menu. Users should be given the option to turn off spam like "featured torrents" and "learn[ing] to torrent" and all that. Why would anyone want those to begin with? Why can't paid users stop the spam? 😑

Updated review. Last year, I gave a 4 star, but honestly, this is the best torrent app out there. To everyone else, pay for the pro version. It's worth the money. The pro features are useful, and the UI/UX is simple, clean, and modern. Great value from the BitTorrent Team 😙🤌

Great app, only thing is that on videos tab, you cannot remove them, also, is there any way to create a torrent from the app? Overall experience is fairly good, it does hang up at times when deleting old torrents, I've found that existing the app, then re-opening it fixes it. Maybe a few features/problems that have been discussed already.

Best app to download torrents EDIT: Was working perfectely fine until the new UI update. Now very glitchy, laggy, won't download files properly when in background, have to force close it a lot to fix the problems. :( 1/9/2023: Still not fixed. Everytime you let it run background while downloading, it freezes the download and glitches out. I am forced to close the app to make it download again. The new UI update f cked the app up.

Long overdue refresh. Loving some aspects of the new aesthetic. Lost a whole bunch of functionality though for example multi torrent selecting and the cool hidden snake game. Even single torrent selecting is gone. Bring those functions back along with the new aesthetic and you'll have a winner. Oh, make sure the built-in media player doesn't display an additional notification when not in use. Add more functionality to the media player. That's especially annoying in Android 9 (Pie).
