Does not update blood drives at all. Needs some serious patching. I can view current drives dates/times and locations on website, and while I would prefer to use the app because it already has all my information, it doesn't automatically update list of local drives in area. I've expanded the dates to 14 days, times to 'all day', and donation types to all and still nothing. Great app, terrible upkeep.

The app works great, it is smooth and visually appealing. I am excited as a first time donor to take advantage of the features the app offers. My only difficulty with the app so far is that I was unable to see my appointment that I had scheduled previous to checking in at the donation site. All this did was make completing my Rapid Pass slightly inconvenient. Once I checked in it seemed that the app linked to my appointment and I was able to see my information. Overall, great app! Thank you!

Tried to complete pre-donation questionnaire, QR code popped up for ~1 second, returned me to the first screen, can't find a record of starting it. If i need to keep track of appointments, i have a calendar with all my appointments in one place.... EDIT: Once in Rapid Pass, there's no obvious way to the app home screen, so I'm stuck in Red Cross internet browser. Upon forcing the app to shutdown, it worked this time. Still, make the UI better

This app is nothing short of AMAZING! It actually makes this process almost fun! (for getting poked with a needle) You can see your blood go through the steps and it manages your appointments and automatically puts them into your phone's calendar to remind you! Plus, it's just a really pretty bright red page. I'm very impressed. I haven't been giving the last few years like I used to, but now I'm into it again thanks to good easy, fun app. Thanks!

No way to filter out full appointment days makes this app borderline unusable for my busy urban area. If I'm scheduling less than three weeks out, I have to manually click thru after twenty different drives to find one with openings. This would be easy to fix. Otherwise a good app. Not intrusive, easy interface, responsible with my calendar.

Making appointments is easy enough, but if they call you (which they will) your blood journey won't be recorded; and they can't add it on either. Some links ( e.g. such as manufacturer data -accuracy-on Covid-19 test )do not work. A few informative blood characteristic information is buried in menus. Otherwise it's fairly easy to use and without technical glitches.

Like others have said, this app is useless for scheduling appointments. Please PLEASE allow people to filter out search results that have no available time slots. It is a huge pain to tap on each location, each day, individually looking for one that has openings. Once I have an appointment scheduled (which I end up doing over the phone), the app is useful for accessing my donor card and completing RapidPass.

I love the rapid pass feature. Scheduling Platelets, you must select the previous day to get the actual one you want (wanted Saturday at 10am and have to choose Friday at 10, and it will actually save it for Saturday). I give weekly so selecting Friday it tells me it has on been 6 days and won't allow it. Also blood journeys don't work at all. Also wish it would show my numbers for all my past visits. Don't get me wrong, I think the app is great and will continue to use it. There can just be improvements.

I went into the app to schedule an appt at the donation center in Minnesota and that location was never an option. The app kept searching only for blood drives and there weren't even any drives to choose from. It wouldn't let me choose a "range" of dates to look for drives either. It was really frustrating. The app is not easy to use and I end up needing to call to set up an appt anyway, which to me defeats the purpose of having an app.

***Edited 07/20/20: Improvements have been made, so scheduling an appointment is definitely easier. Rapid Pass via the app is a huge help! And I usually see my donation entered by the next day. I have had ARC cancel for me, though, a few times. --Maybe the problem is w/my device, but logging in is extremely difficult. Each letter I type duplicates, so trying to log in is so frustrating. Of course, I love ARC, but I'll just have to visit their full site and look for e-mails.

This app has such potential to be really great, but it just isn't. I don't like how it doesn't connect the rapid pass to the app if you take it outside of the app. There should be a way to connect it. I also can never schedule my next donation immediately after a donation. I like to schedule it while I am thinking of it. There is no availability no matter how I change the search parameters. I wish there was an option to look at a calendar and pick a drive when the Smart Scheduling doesn't work.

This app is defective. Logging in is impossible. The "reset password" function is flawed. Once you enter the temp pw, the screen for setting the new password flashes for less than a second before disappearing and sending you back to the original sign-in screen, but you can't sign in because you don't have a password, and you can't set a password, because one-third of a second isn't enough time to do that. Useless app.

They've recently stopped displaying any of my information, and to top it off, the scheduling system seems to be broken. If I use the website to find local blood drives, I can see plenty. But on the app now it keeps saying there are no local drives that meet my criteria. Even if I put in NYC, blood, anytime, over the next 14 days, it says "No drives match your search". Seems like the app is no longer connecting to their backend.

**Edited 8/13/20 Had to just remove from my phone, the information just doesn't sync, won't let me schedule an appt at a drive. Just easier to use the website.** Original review: If you schedule an appt to give the day of, or even the day before using the app, it will not show up at the site, so they double book it with walk ins. Also, it still hasn't synced with my donor info allowing me to do the fast check in. Just some bugs to work out I guess.

Intuitive design, slick graphics, easy to use for finding Red Cross blood drives, scheduling appointments, and completing RapidPass. A few nits to pick: it sometimes suggests appointments from earlier that day and, if you do not complete your RapidPass before the appointment, leaves the "Complete your RapidPass" button on the main screen for the whole day. Also had occasional "outages" where usual "next 14 days" search returned nothing but specific day searches worked. Beyond that, great app.

Really appreciate Red Cross and all of the good they do. But as far as this app goes, I'm just not sure. I made an appointment the other day and did RapidPass but when I arrived at the blood drive they had no record of it. Showing them my text from ARC and the RapidPass was irrelevant. I dont know if that was the apps fault or just a failure to sync with the system. But I ended up not bring able to donate. Will try again

App is decent but needs some work. I've had issues with completed RapidPass forms disappearing randomly, kinda defeats the point. The interface is kinda clunky, there's no real confirmation for some buttons being hit/something is loading. The only other complaint I have is probably more an issue with the backend, but I went to a drive at the hospital and the app had no specific location details for where the donations were being taken within the hospital. Same with no notification / update when a scheduled drive is canceled. All in all, it does its job. It could just be a bit more robust.

The scheduling part of this app is really poorly designed. Plug in your location and preferred time and see a list of location that are fully booked and/or outside of your time constraints. Wouldn't it just be easier to show all the open slots only? What's the point in seeing fully booked locations and having to click on them to find out there's no availability.

Good for showing information about blood drives & locations, but lacks tools to make this information useful. Most importantly, it lacks a filter for appointment availability. The (poorly-designed) filtering tools allow one to specify a location and search radius and a (limited) date range, but not to filter out drives where no appointments are available! You have to look at detail of every drive in a long list to find an available appointment. Lack of this critical feature makes it frustrating.

Great app to make appointments, the make similar appointment button is fantastic. The last few times I tried to complete the RapidPass on the app, it didn't work. I would suggest the ability to add pertinent information to change your ability to donate (i.e. receiving vaccines, antibiotics, STDs, etc.). This would limit inapplicable notifications and would make it easier for the donor to track when they're able to give again.
