Easily one of the best mobile games around, been playing this game for years now and it's always fun to kill some time especially when travelling. Installed it on 4 separate phones over the years from iPhone to Samsung and would buy and install it again if I had to.

The game isn't bad, but sometimes it freezes the tower menus in the middle of the game and no tower selection will work. That happens on different phones from different manufacturers, even on my S23 ultra, a phone powerful enough to run any game without problems. The only way to make it work again is closing the app and force stop. Have lost several games because of this bug, it's pretty annoying. Also having micro transactions and ads in a paid game is absolutely ridiculous.

Great game whether you're on the move or the toilet. My biggest gripe is that it can get repetative, but thats only because of a good strat I've found and always use ratger than any fault on the game. Might lag a lot on older phones once you get to the higher rounds, which can make the game a pain to enjoy, but it's still a wonderful game I'd recomend to anyone with a few bucks to purchase it.

Really fun tower defense game with numerous difficulty options, unique challenges and game modes, numerous towers and a huge number of tracks to play on. This game is a great way to kill some time messing around with tracks or modes like Freeplay, and it can also be really challenging with it's fun but difficult Impopable difficulty. I'd definitely recommend buying this game, it's totally worth the money

Been playing all of the Bloons games since I was in elementary school (Im 28 now). And for 20 years, Ive been so excited everytime I load up any of the games. Ive lost my progress quite a few times, but its been a phenomenal experience getting my husband involved and teaming up. Now my 4 year old plays, and my 2 year old is trying. I will ALWAYS recommend this game series. Keep up the amazing work!

This game is great . Its fun, its easy to play, and its great to play when your waiting or in a car ride. Its over all a great time killer. however, every great thing has flaws. I think some of the tower could have been more unique rather then just ripping them from other ninja kiwi games. Some of the "easy" maps arent really easy. Every map starts with the same waves. It would be cooler (in my opinion) if begginer maps started with red bloons. Intermedite maps start with blue bloons. And so on.

I know I'm late to the party here and this is going to get buried along with the rest of the comment graveyard, but I LOVE this game. The class system withen the monkeys themselfs is phenomenal. Each corse brings it's own fun and exciting challenges. I love that the higher corse you beat the higher the reward you get, that is an amazing system that more games like this should utilize. There are new and fun challenges that you can come back and do every single day. I really enjoy this game!!!!!!!

I love this game. I remember way back when my grandma helped me set up a NK account so I could play it on flash. Besides the nostalgia factor, it's actually a really fun game. Even though I have BTD6 (which is awesome, by the way; keep up the great work), I still have reasons to come back to this game. When I'm on the go, this game doesn't drain my battery nearly as much as BTD6. There is also a variety of tracks not featured in 6, and of course, the Bloonchipper. Thanks for the great game, NK!

This game. Is truly amazing. This is what set the true BTD in motion. Sure, BTD1 was the first one to come, but BTD5 introduced something that would stay that way for the next few BTD games; of course, I'm talking about the Upgrade Paths, however, it would be fun to be able to go into Sandbox and combine the power of both 3rd tier and 4th tier upgrades into one. Of course, since they'd be a bit too overpowered (especially the Super Monkey), they'd be limited only to Sandbox, and until you reach a set round. I know this is old, but it's gold, and I really wish you take this into consideration with BTD7 (if you ever make it, that is) Thank you!

Used to play this game during class during boring lessons on the NinjaKiwi website back in high School. Liked it so much I made an account on the website to save my progress. When I found out there was a mobile version, I bought it almost immediately. Great game, some intense game modes and rewards so often you'll never need to spend real money (unless you really want to).

Pretty faithful to the web browser game, with some nice exclusive content thrown in. I like the vast assortment of options, as it keeps the game fresh, and I can get plenty of time squeezed out of it. The two things keeping it from 5 stars, however, are the excess towers/features that saturate the game a tad much, and the fact that it can be pretty easy to "pay to win". Overall, a nice port of the original, and good fun when I've got nothing else to do. But is it worth $3? Don't make me laugh.

A very nostalgic throwback for me, and it still hasn't gotten old. A classic mobile game that is fun, satisfying to play, and generally enjoyable is what I want. There is always something new to unlock or discover. There are so many maps to beat on the 4 difficulties, (plus the reverse mode) and so many strategies to find out or try. Go have a try, please, it's worth playing.

Left original review 8 years ago Aug 2013. Still one of my go-to TD games. Own several different versions on multiple platforms. Appreciate it more and more every year. Often imitated but never duplicated -- not even close. Solid foundation allows easily learned game mechanics while still challenging & fun in late levels with max upgrades.

Super fun! Really tough, strategy is pretty nuanced, basically exactly what a great mobile game should be. Two main gripes: a) The UI for the level select is an affront to humanity. Rather than grouping levels by difficulty, it just throws them all into one LOONG horizontal scroll list. Have fun spending a few minutes to scroll across to find a level. b) The difficulty of each round is wildly inconsistent. You'll churn through 25 rounds without taking damage, then die in a single second.

Fantastic. Very replayable. Perfect if you're a completionist, there is so much to do in this game. Would love if they added the ability to save your free towers for later. For example, if I get a free dart monkey from completing the mailman's task, it would be nice if I wasn't forced to use the free dart monkey next time I want to use that tower. Would love if I could save it for a more difficult challenge.

As far as phone games go this is the best. A good mix of strategy and action. Tons of maps, defenses, and challenges. It can keep me occupied in a waiting room for hours. The only issue I've found is when I get past Round 100 or so its starts to lag because of everything going on on the screen. It looks crazy, but it only happens because I'm awesome. Great game, would recommend.

Not only is everything accessible (the monkey money is actually obtainable) , the game play is easy, intuitive, and fun. The added feature for continuous rounds is perfect for breezing through the early rounds. Well worth the reasonable price. If you're new to strategy games, start here! Update 2023: Recently redownloaded. Still just as fun as always. Still prefer it over Bloons td6. Still worth every penny
