This is a good app, straightforward and easy to use once you get used to the settings. The reminders, one hour before and one hour after remind me either to get in those last calories or to "hang in there, it's almost over. The water monitor is a nice feature too. Free version is customizable and gives several fasting options. I have used this app for 1week and lost about 5 lbs. I may subscribe to the premium plan to get more options and guidance if my progress stops or slows down.

The app is great for getting you started, I paid for the coach so I could get additional plans and use the challenges feature and I do enjoy it. I've lost some weight already with it. I'd like a bit more flexibility with the fasting/eating periods. I'd also like to be able to track my "began eating/stopped eating" times to see what I'm really doing with my day. And finally, don't get this app for the Facebook group, I found it to be incredibly toxic and left within a day.

Still to early to tell but so far, I find it easy to navigate. It displays easy to read information. Just enough functions on the free options to keep me interested. I will try another free schedule and most likely pay for the year subscription. I like the structure and goal setting that gives a mind set of not eating whenever I feel. Drinking the amount of water is difficult. I was able drink 100% 1 out of 7 days.

I really enjoy this app. It's the first tool I've had slow, steady progress with and I'm ecstatic! I've used it everyday for 3 weeks and I love the different plans. I've lost just under 10 pounds, but my clothes are falling off. I have more energy and I'm about to start incorporating exercise. Not all results are found on the scale. Only 4 stars because I wish you could have access to unlock other mini goals without buying the coach. The coach purchase is not necessary for success.

just started using app, I'm using the free version and it has what I need - to be able to track my fasting windows. they offer suggestions for fasting windows and I haven't yet tried following those. working to get back into ketosis after having fallen off the wagon due to illness. you can track water intake and your measurements which is nice since the scale doesn't always show progress. so far, good app!

UPDATE: TO THE DEVELOPERS- it would be great to be able to view different plans, even if your currently in the middle of one. Once i pick a week i can't go back to just look at the others. Also, it would be awesome if there was a "switch day" button that acted similar to the "move period" button. Sometimes i wanna move a whole day to a different day of the week. ORIGINAL REVIEW: very helpful for learning about & trying out different intervals of fasting. good blog articles & FB community as well

I've only used it for one day, but so far so good. I didn't give 5 starts because the free version was promoted at having all these recipes but you only get one recipe per category (breakfast, lunch, etc.) and that seemed a bit like a stretch becuase you actually have to pay for the premium to get all the recipes. I would have thought at least 3-5 per category to have a good variety, but that tempts you to buy more. But it is doing what I really need which is IF to that is just some feedback.

Just started using the app and loving it so far! There is a free version, which gives you access to quite a few weekly programs, but after I signed up for one of those, I got an offer for the paid program for 50% off. Seems like a great deal so far. The paid version creates a personalized program for you. The only additional item I wish it could track is calorie intake or a food journal. There is a section provided for recipes, but they aren't super exciting. I am a picky eater though!

Overall, I think it's a great app, and the reminders to drink water are great. However, I can not cancel my subscription ANYWHERE on the app. One section will tell me to go to the coach setting, but nowhere on there does it have an option to cancel the subscription or tell you the price. You will not get a direct contact information without having to make an Outlook account to get any type of support email. Very frustrating otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. I have been doing this officially for 1m

I've only been using this app for about a week and so far my impression is that it's a good app, but the subscription is ridiculous. From the description and price, I expected a person to make specific personal recommendation, but it seems that the subscription only unlocks features in their fasting algorithm. I like the main screen graphics and notifications. I can't believe they didn't provide a widget for some of these, which is a huge missing. Overall good app, but skip the subscription.

Want a review so bad you give me a "rate us 5 stars" pop-up on every screen I view while I'm trying to find settings and set things up? Fine. I barely like this app anyways. To have effective fasting plans you need to purchase the coach subscription. I was willing to try sticking to very basic plans to reach my goals slowly, but honestly it seriously sucks that I even have to feel that way. I'm a student, dishing out yet another subscription bill every month is just not in my plans.

I got a new phone, and when I logged in on the new device none of my data was saved. Not a great app, not terrible either. If all you want is to track weight, measurements, water intake, and fasting periods than this works, but the UI isn't fantastic. You have to "schedule" fasting hours ahead of time instead of being able to just press start.

The time editing does not work on android. I have been trying to adjust the schedule to how I actually am fasting and the hour spinner won't stay, it keeps defaulting back, the add a day doesn't work either, and the add an hour still leaves eating windows where I don't want them. This bug really needs to be fixed, the app is basically unusable like this.

not a fan of how they show our fasting times, honestly takes me a while to understand EVERY time i look at it. also i dont like that when i adjust my window, it only adjust that window and not all of them. like i wanted to shift all the times to be more realistic for me (but keep same periods, i just need to eat till 8pm. let me eat earlier and stop earlier) and i cant find an option to do that so its very hard and time consuming. other than that i do like the app alot

It's actually a really awesome app. Use it while I was learning how to fast. Once I got used to fasting I decided to just do it on my own and cancel my subscription. The subscription has now been canceled but I'm still being charged for a yearly subscription but now without the extras you get for having a subscription. Like I said app is cool and if the can make this issue right I'd be more than happy to give 5 stars.

Just started yesterday, but so far, I really like it! You can get personalized coaching if you pay a monthly subscription, but as I'm just seeing if fasting is right for me, I don't feel the need to pay and am just following a basic beginner's fasting schedule for now. I'm trying to drop 20 lbs after giving birth to my son. The interface is user-friendly, colorful, and pretty motivating! So far, so good! And I'm not being blasted with ads! (Thank you for that!!)

(Update) Response from the team is trying to gaslight me as if I didn't set it up correctly. The "Coach" on their ads is an automated algorithm. Who knows if it's a fixed set of programs or if it reflects your input? The concept is good, but I don't get any real coaching from a human, so it's questionable if this is personalized. I don't know what I'm paying $30/3mo for— be aware of false advertisement, and it is not worth paying.

I installed this because LIFE Fasting is being discontinued and the major thing I used it for isn't available in this app. All I want is to be able to start and stop tracking a fast and adjust the times afterward. This app is extremely plan-centric and the vast majority of the plans are locked up behind "coach only." There is no clear way to just track fast periods without tying yourself to a plan. I like not requiring an account but this is useless for me.

I'm on week 3 with a coach and I've lost 5lbs. That might not seem like much but the first two weeks were "training". I'm happy so far. (8/6/20) Update: it would be great if the app was compatible with my watch so I could have a tile that shows if I'm eating or fasting and how much time is left. The same widget that is in the app would work. (4/3/24)

Body Fast has been great to me, but my Keto tracker has a fasting feature, and it's just easier to have it all in one. The only thing I would change is being able to adjust the date of your initial weight. Other than that I find the app to be near perfect. Coach is definitely worth paying for, but even without the app is immensely helpful. Seriously, loud ads out of nowhere? If there are ridiculous ads, why can't I use premium features? The ads are so loud and so long and so rude.
