You should provide option for find show by movie name, not only by location. If a movie isn't playing in my location, you should show me the nearest location of theatre where that exact movie is playing instead of showing 'no watch options '. And your in-app contact us bot isn't responding too.

Really disappointed with their service... I booked 2 tickets for july 3rd evening ( booked on july 2nd).As I couldn't attend the show I was trying to cancel the tickets from july 3rd morning, due to technical errors I was not able to cancel it. Regardless mutiple mails my problem is still not solve and I lost my 400Rs they are not giving any updates.Dont book tickets in this app. Update 22/7/24 Its been 3 weeks I have contacted them mutiple times through phone & mail still my money not returned

Terrible app and customer service. God forbid you have any event cancelled. BMS will take their own sweet time to refund the money. Customer service will act clueless and there will be no trace on the application of your order because it had already been marked as refunded without the amount reaching your bank. And in case you ever want to recheck your booking details before payment. Any offer you try to apply will fail and you'll have to wait 20 mins to try again. Banks have more modern apps

Face too much issues during payment. Payments has been debited from my account but movie booking failed.. faced the issue Multiple times. And the hard part is need to spend days to get the amount refunded... too much frustrating. ..pls if any developer is reading this , please make an alternative app to book movies.

I've booked my ticket for kalki 2898 which costed me inr 800. The ticket is cancelled. But, my amount is debited. I've been trying to contact the help team. But they aren't even responding through text. Then, I decided to call, then they responded they were busy. This will be my last booking in this app. šš

This is waste app once I have booked ticket for the kalki movie , due to some issue I have cancelled the ticket.... They spoke that 75% money will be refunded.. But 1 rupee also didn't come to my account. When I check my purchase history it was showing money was refunded... Its a scam ,froud don't install this useless app , Simply money grabbing and not refunded back...š” So be carefull....

Worst experience ever š I tried to book tickets first they show all my desired seats are occupied so I had to book middle seat after booking I checked for one more seats and found my desired seats are available and lot of other seats are available too they just show booked all seats. Talked to coustomer care about this and they said I have to cancel my ticket or I give my tickets to any friend. Like seriously cancelling show does not give full refund. I'm so disappointed...

Worst experience ever....!!! I have booked tickets for a movie of a particular area's theater but it is redirected to another theater and are helpless to help the customers with any alternative also neither agreeing to refund half of the tickets price... so sad BMS .... you have to look into this issues cause it's been happening with many visitors.....

Arrived at the theater with family, only to find out the show was canceled without any prior notice. Booked through BookMyShow, but received no notification. Disappointing experience and a hassle to get a refund. Unacceptable lack of communication and consideration.

Don't trust BookMyShow. I've applied my credit card offer and booked the seats. After successfully completed the transaction, the seats were not booked and the amount was credited as their Wallet balance and I've lost my credit card offer. Uninstalling and I would never book from them in future.

I had very interesting experience. While booking the tickets, I accidentally booked the tickets for the show that had already begun playing. The app should have alerted me. Upon reaching customer care, they brused aside my request to rebook for the same show at later time on same day. I lost my money. In the AI era, such respone is highly unacceptable

Edit: finally got it to work, it also required restarting the phone before it could work. This app suddenly stopped working properly. Updating, clearing cache, clearing data and even reinstalling it didn't work. No images will load and only a continuous loading icon is visible.

Have been facing an issue for 6+months where I am neither able to use my saved card to make any transactions nor delete it from saved cards so that I can re-add it. Had reached out to customer support so that the backend team could help me fix it but never got any response back from them. Every time I call customer support, I hear the team is looking into it. Edit: Still NO response from them. In between they had just marked the issue as fixed and closed the issue without any actual fix.

To the developers of this app: THINK WHAT USER EXPECTS while using your app. 1. Make links clickable ALWAYS, whether it is movie name or theatre. Make it clickable always. 2. Show screen number in listing itself. It matters to see before booking. 3. Show relevant contents while searching. For example, when searching for word "city" you should first show "city pride" and not some movies released 10 years ago having word "city" in their name. Developers should

Your app has such a terrible system. When I tried to avail an offer with an ICICI card, it was extremely problematic. Since it was such a hassle, I tried to book tickets without the offer and the tickets failed to book but the money was taken from the card. You need to fix these issues for better customer satisfaction. Using this app shouldn't be such an annoyance.

I'd also like to sort when showing cinemas, by nearest(distance) Still didn't add this simple feature, here I'll put it simply: Add a "Language" option in the app's "settings" page where I can set my preferred language so when I check movies that are releasing it'll only show movies of my preferred language for eg: I don't know Tamil so I won't select that and so Tamil movies won't show up this will clear the unnecessary clutter! And 2nd add option to only show favourite cinemas in filter option

Nowadays, if we use a buy one get one offer, the booking fails, and it takes 4-7 days to get a refund. In the meantime, we lose the offer. It's a very pathetic game BookMyShow is playing. Even as a superstar user, I didn't get any response to my support message in 2 hours, even though they claim to provide priority support and resolve all issues within 1 hour.

Your app is perhaps first one to give users such services. I have booked many times in the past. Nowadays your convenience charges are also increased. Recently while booking the dates kept on getting reset every time we go to check availability and seat selection. Due to this issue, I booked tickets of same day( though show was already begun ) instead of next day. I had to suffer financially and miss start of the movie. I had no option but to purchase from counter tickets.

This app is generally user-friendly for booking tickets, but applying credit card offers is a major hassle. The process is very lengthy and inconvenient, requiring multiple steps that could easily be streamlined. It would be much more efficient if the applicable offers were automatically applied when the credit card number is entered. This change would save users a lot of time and frustration. Until then, the experience remains cumbersome.

They have the worst experience while using an offer during the booking. I have noticed a couple of times that the offer is used, payment is done on the card, but BMS fails to book the ticket. Now that the offer is used up they conveniently say that the refund would be available in few days.. where as the customer just wasted on the offer discount. worst customer experience. on top of all this, there is no easy way to contact anyone.. its all shielded behind app. We need competitor to beat them
