I use this app ALOT and the barcode scanner is slow and when I put the cursor on search bar, it switches the screen as soon as I type the first letter. Also when scanning barcodes, it will pull up some companies, but not all and a few mins later the other companies will appear. It wastes alot of time with these errors.

Easy to use the app, but after I sent my package my shipping info keeps getting pushed back. 4 times now my package has not been able to ship by the time previously stated. It's annoying because I am pretty much missing out on a $15 check from my book. And since I'm probably not getting my money, I dont even have the book anymore to sell elsewhere.

Great App! Very convenient to scan books and see many vendors who may want to buy your books. Has a hard time finding ISBN #'s you input manually. I have many older books without bar codes and it just searches, and searches and searches. But other than that, very convenient.

Pretty good app. I mean it's superior in what it does but not without flaws. Sometimes the app is down, other times it misquotes and other times it simply fails to display a vendors quote at all yet alone accurate. For example I may scan an isbn and it shows all places will accept it except sellbackyourbook but when I enter the same isbn on sellbackyourbook they happen to be buying that book for a dollar even though the bookscouter app and website displayed it as a big 0.00. Still good for cash.

I love this application. I love the fact that it now has a place in the the key number keyboards were an x can be put in the ISBN I love that it now can scan the ISBN number itself instead of just the barcode I've always dug the fact that it keeps a record of books I have scanned and kept as opposed to the ones that aren't worth my time. If you can pay for the the pro bookscouter that is what's up. I can't afford it at the moment but when I can I will definitely get it. Great app. All around

I do not recommend this app. I used Bookscouter and the company that I sold books to called Booksrun was rated highly on their site. I had a horrible experience with Booksrun, for 6 books the company offered me 17.76$ , and when they received my books they only sent me a picture of 1 book and the quote went to $1.09. I tried posting a 1 star review of Booksrun on Bookscouter twice, they have not posted it but yet 5 star reviews for Booksrun keep appearing. I will never use Bookscouter again.

If you are looking to sell your books might look somewhere else, books I've paid a lot of money for checked on here and every book I've scanned either get that their not buying right now or offering only $0.11 every time.

I have a lot of older books to clear out and want to sell a few and donate the rest. This app is helping me quickly sort those that are still worth something and those that are not worth messing with. I'm using it just to screen and will not be selling thru the 'buyers' on the app. For my needs it is working fine.

Ive used this app multiple times for years now. I always get paid. Worth the minimal effort. Bookscouting does all the work. Its easy and if your book doesnt bring a price, just try again a few weeks later and it probably will then. The values of the books change all the time. Its like the stock market. This app is no joke. You wont get rich or be able to buy a new car, but you can buy a nrw pair of shoes or some books you really do want to read. I give it a 7 on the apps great secrets list. Yup. Freedom.

Not bad, Not great. I like the bookshelf feature. It does crash when you are going through stacks and stacks of books. It's fairly fast when it works properly and seeing all different offers is a plus. Would recommend to the developers to add more buyers and running a coding/ bug check.

I love this app and have been using it for a while. The only thing I would recommend is sometimes when the dash is come up in between the numbers on the ISBN bookscouter does not recognize it. It would be great if they did because if you're talking into your phone and unable to scan it, sometimes the dash is Go in automatically.but thanks!

The app is great when it's accurate I love the fact that they have the bookshelf that stores the books that I keep so I can transfer them to the places that I want to sell them. I think it'd be cool if there was a search button on the bookshelf so It could be be easier find the book I was looking for instead of having to go through the entire list but still the bookshelf itself is great. I do not do the paid service so I'm sure this app could get even better Im just to poor to find out.

I have been using Book Scouter for at least 6 years now. I have been extremely satisfied. They meet all my needs in one spot. Even beyond reliability, easy to navigate, giving an extensive list of book buyers. I have tried using similar services in the past that didn't meet all my needs or started to at the beginning but weren't able to sustain it. Thank you book scouter for the service ❤️

It's obvious they see the reviews & comments, & they actually LISTEN. Noticable improvements & quick! The barcode reader reads w/more ease, the search results pop up quicker, the back button works, & the app is simply faster than before, --& I've had the same phone throughtout. Nice work! Just 1 thing (always something 😉), I LOVE the keyboard for the ISBN is now just numbers (much faster!), but what do I do when the ISBN has an X & the barcode can't be read? Thx! Keep up the great work! 👍

I use it a lot. If I could scan, decide, then scan again to move on to the next book with my Bluetooth scanner.... instead of having to hit the "New search" button after each scan it would cut my time scanning in half. Also I only use 3 buy back companies. It would be nice to exclude all the others, so the results come back a lot faster searching less sources. Appreciate the app. Makes me a little money over just scanning for one dud buyer.

This app is super easy to use and have never had any glitches or errors. No troubles whatsoever. Unfortunately though, I never seem to have any luck finding any buyers for more than a few cents; however, this is not necessarily a fault of the app itself. They do however show you what Amazon is buying or selling the same books for on their site and also offer to email you a copy of the list of books you have uploaded to your "Bookshelf" within this app which is a really cool feature!!

This is a useful tool. I know some of the reviews complain about low prices but they evidently don't understand that this just checks all buyers to match them up and that there is not a big resell market for a lot of fiction. I have found some 60.00 books at thrift stores using this app! However lately it freezes up and searches forever with working. Happens regularly, on Wifi or data. It just isn't connecting. Very frustrating. Used to be much better...what's going on?
