This app is kind of amazing. But I think that keeping it beauty-specific is limiting the potential. The set up for product/service listing and client engagement is something that could be very easily optimized to span across all areas of business potentially. Keep up the great work! Maybe entertain the idea of expansion. Well done. 👍🏽

Using this app what is very convenient it works the time scheduling a pickup I said destination. it made it easy for you to narrate through this scheduling, as long as you called but then that 24 hour a pickup time yes no no-show fee or cancellation fee. also there's a policy if you had a issue what's a driver vehicle excetera, you are urged to report it by the owner that this situation will never happen again and to rectify the problem.

This app seems to be made by those who don't do hair. There isn't an area for color formulas so I have to use "client notes" which has limited space, making it hard to keep formulas for those who change color often. The schedule is SUPER sensitive and moves appointments over to different stylist/times way too easily which causes hell to the books, especially if booking out future appointments 🙄. Just to name a few...

Seems like others over time have experienced what I'm going through right now with the text code not coming. Don't send me a msg about contacting you, because as a new user I would think that this should've been addressed and fixed a long time ago. Also keeps telling me that the app version isn't up to date without an option to update it. Sounds like you need to contact your support team since the issue is constantly happening.

I downloaded this app to schedule an appt with my hairdresser. I go through all the set up of the app and it gets to the end where it's supposed to send a text confirmation to confirm registration and it never arrives. I clicked resend a dozen times, nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice, nothing. I tried registering by using Facebook, nothing. I don't understand why I'm not able to continue. The phone number is correct

This is an app has a text message delay. It took over 40 minutes to confirm my account. It also functions as middle person at the discretion of the business you select. It's unfortunate because when a business contacts you last minute that they aren't available and they cancel on you thats the end of that. Maybe if businesses were vetted for more professionalism it would be helpful.

Keep getting notifications to "beat the rush" and go to a barber I went to once or twice. Haven't gone there in a long time. The only way to stop the notification is to stop ALL notifications. Super annoying. I don't have the barbershop favorited or anything. You need to add a feature to stop this without stopping all notifications.

Two stars are all I can give, because I like my barber and I like the ease of access. Today, my first chance to get a haircut in months, right before I have to go attend a funeral, I woke up to an appointment cancellation because the app double-booked all my barber's appointments. My understanding was that this is exactly what the app was created to prevent. It failed me horribly.

Way too many unwanted notifications. App works for the reason I had to install it, but then starts spamming other services. Very annoying. No need for further details, I described the issue perfectly. I downloaded the app because I had to in order to make an appointment to use a local service. Then received a bunch of spam for other products and services that I did not sign up for.

Customer service so far has been found to be lacking. First, I was precharged for an appointment that the app failed to schedule and have since been unable to schedule appointments because the app won't accept any of my cards. Second, I've called customer service twice and emailed them once so far to no avail despite having received verbal assurances that the issue would be resolved. They never bothered to respond to my email.

Less than 1 star! I favorited one barber 3 years ago and now i can't stop getting text alerts for appointments. I have changed my notification settings and even blocked the phone number. They keep coming with different phone numbers. I tried to remove my phone number on the app but nope. I also unfavorited the barber. Still getting alerts. I haven't used this in 2 years. I'm tired of it!

Efficient but annoying. I use the app to book barber appointments and car detailing services. It minimizes the back and forth of setting up a time that works for both of you. What is annoying are the notifications I get from a barber who I literally haven't been to in over 2 years, and i can't find a way to stop the notifications without blocking all Booksy notifications smh. The app won't let me block the individual, and I still get notifications after un-favoriting the person smh

Currently this app only offers randomized results in random large cities. Please add distance fields. 1. Distance to search from location. 2. Sort by distance. The app renders pages of results in the various largest cities across the country. It does not show/prioritze results for cities in user's region that are even within a day's drive. I have uninstalled it. Useless for anyone not in a maga metro city and even still pot luck results at best.

Can't create an account. It requires a code that's sent by text to your phone, but the text never arrived even after several tries. I contacted support about this issue and they said they were looking into it, but never got back to me after that. Update: Working now. They created an account for me after I followed up again and the app works great

The app has no way to turn off their marketing advertisement notifications that doesn't also turn off all other notifications, including basic emailed updates to appointment times. Thinking I may have misunderstood the interface, I looked for a "help" button in the app, and found a menu option labeled "Feedback & Support." Clicking it yielded two menu options: "like us on Facebook" and "rate us on Google Play." It really reinforced the impression of being one more sleazy data harvesting company.

I'm irritated as hell. A barber I used to go to over 7 yrs ago put my phone number on this app and I CANNOT REMOVE IT!! I get text notices from different phone numbers so every time I block it, another one from a different number. I keep downloading the app to see if they've made changes to this aspect, and NOPE! It's irritating and upsetting and I wish they would make the process easier. I should have the option of removing my info from an app I never heard of before.

The app is easy enough to use, but I ran into trouble when trying to book two services with the same stylist, cut and color. Booksy only allowed me to select one at a time, and when I tried to select the second service it cancelled the first. Selecting two services is pretty fundamental it should be baked into the app. Maybe there's a setting I'm not finding.

Transparency is always key in business. I find it odd that Booksy's appointment notifications are spot-on in terms of emails to confirm bookings, appointment reminders and requests for service experience reviews. I have even received a healthy dose of informational and promotional content. However, what Booksy does not send is confirmation of an appointment cancelation. I would even settle for an in-app timestamp in conjunction with the red emboldened CANCELED. But no, absolutely nothing.

It's good I give a 5..It doesn't mess up haven't really had a lot of problems with it. gives you a lot of reminders which is cool especially for a person that is very busy with a lot on their calendar I also like the fact that you can look at other businesses and explorer which is not always an easy thing to do. and you can look at other businesses anywhere in-country basically... so if you're out of town you can book an appointment with a Barber that you've never been to.. very convenient

It's fairly easy to navigate through the website and to book my appointments. You have the option to add an appointment directly to your calendar without leaving the app, which is another great feature as well as receiving and email and reminder notifications of the appointment. I'm able to review past services, which is great. I need to use it a little more to give a more in-depth review.
