Do not be fooled ..! All parts of this application are paid and only two parts of it are equalizer and music player, which also send ads after three days. The best applications are available in the Play Store, which are without ads and are completely free. I initially have five stars. I did, but still only this application should be deleted.

Unbelievable music player, the best. But lost my lifetime subscription do to factory reset and had to get new Gmail to get back in. It still has my name in the Gmail, hope they see this and restore my subscription. I'm poor can't afford to pay again but it still has my music on it , any help I would really appreciate it. I really love this app, magic!!

This is such a wonderful app!! My previous phone (LG V20) had all the equalizers you have here in it's default music app. One issue I've found is that the audio quality's much better when any song's playing in the background while I'm playing a game than when the song's in the background of any other non-game. Is this happening only with my phone? I've checked all battery and performance related settings and it's still the same. Give me an answer and I'll give ya the 5 stars you truly deserve

I had the same experience as another user who recently posted about the song stopping after playing for a certain amount of time. For me it was always 21 seconds. No matter which song. Reinstalled a few times. No luck. Even reached out to customer service with actual video of it happening. No meaningful response or fix so far.

To get the sound benefits, you must play your sound files through the app's so-so music player. That means Boom doesn't work with apps that must run their own sound files (Audible, Hearts of Space, games, YouTube, etc.). Is that worth $7/year, or $30, for as long as they feel like supporting it? My copy of the original Boom for Mac no longer works, so just know that the one-time fee isn't really forever. :(

Unusable due to constant interrupts. Before paying for this app, test it to see if it just stops playing within seconds to minutes after hitting play. I spend most of my time pulling my phone from the holster to hit play just to have it stop again a minute or so later. Went back to my other audio player and have chalked this up to a waste of $20.

Can't integrate it with YouTube or any streaming music apps . Raise a few stars. It seems to integrate with YouTube Music. That MD to be all though. It doesn't seem to affect the phone sound in any way. Don't understand that. I do barely notice any affect on YouTube Music either. I've tried the extremes and maybe a little. So maybe it has no affect. It recognizes YM so I assume maybe I'm missing something or it's there for show. So I added stars at least effort!

I have this app on my laptop and the experience is wonderful. I use my bluetooth headphones on my laptop and it works perfectly. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the phone app. My bluetooth headphones connect and reconnect to the app when it's being used, and when the headphones are connected via bluetooth, the sound cuts in and out. Makes the app really unusable. And I know it's not my headphones or my bluetooth because I've tested other apps while connected and everything works fine.

I own both the desktop version and now this one. What I'm mad I about is the inability to add car mode or for car speakers. If can be had for over the ear, it should be offered as well to car speakers or external on the app too. Not just the one. Just sayin is all, be nice to see! Very nice too see! The Mac version desktop gets 5 stars, this one gets 2. Srry, but two. All versions ought have the option in opinion.

I would give it 10 stars if I could. This is the first app I've ever really purposely come back to review AGAIN. :) I used this app for a very long time with the ads, and it was great then, and I have just now purchased a year subscription and will definitely an upgrade to lifetime when the time comes. Get this app! I haven't been disappointed by either the free or purchased versions. Bravo! And YES THIS ONE REALLY WORKS AND BOOSTS THE VOLUME. Most others dont. ❤ :)

Tidal gets logged out every few days. And when I try to log in and it crashes. And then crashes every time I open the app. Only way to fix is to delete the app then install again. Just for it to happen again. I'm not going to keep going through this and fixing my settings every few days. Doesn't happen with Spotify. Only Tidal. Also doesn't happen on the iOS app.

Would be 5 stars. I would not be lying by saying that after trying close to 50 different music playing apps Boom efx is the only one that has a noticeable difference in sound. It makes my old car stereo sound amazing. So I purchased a year subscription. After about a month of using the app I lost all the premium features for sound and that I need to subscribe. Play Store clearly shows a record of my subscription. And after contacting the developers I received NO HELP AT ALL! So you guys suck

This app should be free, because it seems to only work with YouTube, Spotify and mp4, mp3 files. It doesn't seems to support hi-res audio, which I only prefer to listen to. Some of my wav. files it would support, but the audio quality becomes degraded. When trying to play hi-res audio tracks it would skip to find the next mp3 or mp4 tracks, which are very few. Even Amazon music doesn't support this app, and I'm not even a fan of Amazon music, This boom music app has a lot of bugs and glitches that needs to be fixed, even with the premium version. After only 2 days of trial and error, i canceled my subscription. Not recommended for AUDIOPHILES

I don't think it's worth the price, they could make it better. The booster turns off when I need it or at random times while listening, I would rather have it working all the time. (Yes I pushed the button to have it on) the sound is great, and loved that part of it! I would love to have this for all my devices, but just for my phone its not worth it.

I mainly use Boom in my car via bluetooth. I just wish my S21 Ultra had a 3.5mm output. A hardwired connection always produces better sound than over bluetooth. If I had to give two suggestions, it would be to make the 3D sound feature variable. As it stands, your only choices are ON or OFF. For some genres of music, the 3D parameter is too spacial. Also, the max preamp level could use about a 15% increase. Still a good though.

Because I am moderately hard of hearing (in the high frequency ranges), I use the Boom 3D app. I have been using one or another version of Boom on my Mac Mini for years, and now it's also installed on my Google Pixel 4a. I bought and paid for the app on each platform… mostly due to the concerns about advertisements. I have a custom equalizer setting that I named "Tinny Phone". It helps me hear sibilance in the caller's voice. It's literally changed my ability to talk over the phone and to listen to interviews, audiobooks and podcasts. On my phone, Boom *initially* worked exactly as it should… it worked on virtually all the audio my phone was able to produce. Over time, though, I have run into perplexing problems that I believe were inadvertently caused by Android system updates and remain unresolved by Global Delight (note that _all_ of these issues were encountered over one of my many Bluetooth headsets… the latest of which are my Jabra Elite 75t Active): Boom *completely stopped working* with the Google Podcasts app. Boom has no effect whatsoever on the sound the Podcasts app puts out. (Interestingly, the Jabra headset's accompanying app comes with a basic equalizer that does work with Google Podcasts, but it is insufficient to correct the sound to my hearing like Boom used to.) On the number of apps where Boom reliably works on my phone, its equalizing effect is completely shut down by any notification sounds. Completely. Shut. Down. When that happens in order to restore the sound setting, the user must quit the app on the phone entirely and then restart it. When this issue first manifested, you could occasionally fix the problem by turning off Boom's equalizer and turning it back on again. That was bad enough. But now it means pulling out the phone, actually quitting the program and restarting it. That is a real Bad Thing™ when you are on a call, or listening to an audiobook in the middle of an exercising set or while on a group bicycle tour in the hills. I have not yet written to the developer Global Delight Technologies. I have several other programs from Global Delight for my Mac and they all work wonderfully well, including Boom 3D. This is really the first time I have written any reviews for the Boom app for Android.

This app has changed my music listening experience forever. It has been cemented into my phone and will never leave. It amplifies and enhances music to godly or even Holy level. Their preset genre setting are well made and each one can be customized. What's even better is that the premium edition is a mere 7 bucks a year. No ads, 3d audio, everything you could want. This app will make your ears ring and you'll recoil in awe of how amazing songs will sound. Instructions: Download ASAP

I would like to use this app every time I listen to music as I really do enjoy the amplified sound and bass effect that it creates... Unfortunately though because of constant crashes, songs randomly stopping constantly, getting logged out of whatever music service you choose, and a horribly designed play queue system, I only have the patience to use it once or twice a week when I'm actively using my phone so I can keep hitting play and reopening the app after crashes.

I like the different effects you can add to really being out the best in the music. I do find it really frustrating, however, that you can't simply touch the rewind button and have it restart the song, I like to listen to songs a more than once and this is a bit annoying that I have to open the app and use the slider if I want to restart the song.

It's a shame since this is such a good desktop app, but the system effects aren't functioning properly on my Pixel 6. When I turn it on, the volume goes very low, and any equalizer effects make it worse, like my music is playing underwater. But the "free" use then runs out and it prompts for an upgrade - I'd love to, but it doesn't work! There's also no Android TV app for the Shield.
