I connect to two different devices. If the Bose QC earbuds connect to the wrong device, I have to turn off Bluetooth on that device to disconnect, cannot disconnect from within the app. And then the other device doesn't want to connect with the earbuds unless I put them back in the case and start all over.

This app sucks in regards to connecting to the earbuds. I learned not to touch the earbuds after they connect. If I do anything, like take an earbud out, the earbuds won't connect to the app until I put both earbuds back in the case and wait for like an hour. They connect fine to regular Bluetooth for music but I cannot adjust anything with the app. Very disappointing after buying such an expensive pair of earbuds.

Connection issues. As others have mentioned, it seems to work and not work randomly. Yesterday I got a call, opened up my case and put an earbud in to answer. My phone wouldn't connect. I asked the person to wait while I took FIVE MINUTES to get it connected again. Tried to "forget it" in my Bluetooth settings, turned Bluetooth on and off, put the buds back/took them back out. Everything. Finally my solution has been uninstalling this app and hoping regular Bluetooth settings connect/disconnect

This app is just awful, has constant connectivity issues, and it's way more trouble than it's worth. The only, and I mean only, reason to use this piece of garbage is to update the earbuds. I've had 3 pairs of these, including my wife's, and all of them have the same connectivity issues. Two different phones, so I don't think it's a phone problem, it's this terrible app.

Couldn't get earbuds to connect. App saw earbuds but wouldn't connect. Tried a dozen times. Uninstalled/Reinstalled app. Unpaired/repaired earbuds. Then only one earbud would connect. Then app would say finish setup. But when I put the earbuds in the case with the case opened and press the button on the back, the light would blink blue once and go off, unless you held down the button on the back then it would blink blue until you released the button, then go off, but still won't connect.

The app is garbage, couldn't find my earbuds straight out of the box. Factory reset the earbuds, still couldn't find them. Able to connect directly to my phone outside the app with zero issues. But some settings for the earbuds are locked behind an app that doesn't work and can't find them

I am sending back your horrible Bose QC ultra headphones. They worked well for 24 hours. Then I couldn't turn them off anymore. It stayed in sleep mode. Then it would just go to pairing and every time I went to turn it off it just kept saying it was wanting to connect to another device. I read all the instructions I tried to find any way to fix this and I can't so they're going back immediately!

This app sucks! Every time you exit the app screen and come back the app disconnects from the headphones and over 75% of the time you have to force stop the app and reopen it to get it to reconnect. Jabra and soundcore apps work great without any connection issues and those products are much cheaper than bose. It's sad that budget brands have better apps

I just purchased Bose QC earbud, and I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app for it to work after the initial startup of the app. The earbuds or the app are the issue, I never had problems with my previous pair that were a different brand. It's really disappointing given how expensive the earbuds were. Edit: it still sucks, and I wish I could give both the app and earbuds a zero star review.

TLDR: Just buy Sony. I might have given it 3 stars if it was capable of realizing the "disconnected" headphones were not only connected, but actively playing audio. I spend 500% more time waiting to access the app's controls and functions (which are decent enough, but amazing) than I do actually using them. And honestly, the only thing I use it for is to change the other connected device for my 700s. I miss my QC 35ii's... PS: Add a dark mode and fix the "assistant button" nonsense.

Flat out doesn't work with my Pixel 6a. Frustrating. okay, after several hours of trying different things, install, uninstall, distance, completely turning off nearby phone... I got it to work by uninstalling and reinstalling again, with no other devices activated, and in that process before the install, had buds fully charged, no other devices Bluetooth on, allowed it to pair to LE, and the Bluetooth activated on Pixel.. also, I allowed notifications, contacts. and it works now. smh

I like my QC II earbuds but the app not so much. Half the time if my music is paused and I open the Bose app it's not connected to the buds. I have to hit play in the music app to make the Bose app connect. Also I was excited about the widget but all it does is show the charge level. What would be really useful is being able to change noise cancelling modes in the widget.

The battery is 3/4 charged in the case but when I use the headphones it shows at 10%. Already three times since the new update. It looks like the app or the Bluetooth connection is on all the time as the bose symbol appears as a notification on my phone but I'm not using the app or the headphones very strange. Also the earbuds more than not says they are connected but only the left side starts and then after a minute or so the right side starts to play the sound. Bose please fix this issue.

Love bose and I love the performance of my 900 soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speakers. That being said, if you need something easy that just works, do not buy this. I didn't go with a complex setup because my wife needed something that "just works". This is not it. The application constantly has sync issues where I need to unplug and reset the bar so that it will work. The app is also very clunky, slow, and not very intuitive. For a company like bose, this is extremely disappointing.

Shamefully awful app for a company with prestige and deep pockets. The app can't do any of the most basic, obvious tasks -- can't identify the speakers through which it's already paired, can't adjust the volume in both speakers at once, lots of "Something went wrong" errors displaying in the app. I think what went wrong was I was expecting 1200-dollar speakers to work like alternatives a third of the price do just fine. What an absolutely inexcusable drag from Bose's app team leadership.

I'll give the app a 2 for the moment as there's some weird bugs that weren't previously present now in the app. I currently own the new Ultra QuietComfort Headphones and the Noise cancelling modes won't allow me to favorite custom ones. I've tried waiting after pressing the button and re-installing the app, nothing works. But looking towards the actual app, it's meh. It has a lot of unnecessary features that come with most modern phones. The few that are useful usually work fine though.

Literally won't detect my earbuds while they're connected to my phone. The app isn't so bad if I could just use it. 90% of the time it just fails to find them though they're connected to my phone. This also leads to the volume becoming strange. When the app is working in the background, it'll change the app amplification. However, since it usually isn't working, I expect it to change phone volume. This leads to inconsistencies that are very annoying.

For the Bose QC Ultras - The app runs great. It's well lain out, and easy to understand / use. Occasionally it has issues, but like everything tech, force-quitting and starting it back up tends to be the fix. Only thing I would suggest is allowing toggles/ controls for active passthrough, so we can control the passthrough levels / sound sharpness to help us set it where we can hear how we want. Edit: info added

I got my QC 45s as a gift six months ago and they're now my favorite thing. I asked for these over Sony because the app is not required to use them, just to access the equalizer and more connection settings. But recently, the microphone hasn't been connecting when I take phone calls. Sound input and connectivity is still perfect - but no one on the other line can hear me. I've reinstalled the app, deleted the QCs from my phone, it still happens. I think the last update broke something.

The latest version is so much worse, it never connects even when my headphones are already connected to my phone. It really detracts from the hardware. Just a terrible app, non stop issues connecting, limited options, constant notifications, widget only works with notifications turned on. It's a nightmare app and i expect better considering the price of the hardware.
