Uninstalled after 4 uses. When it works, its a nice convenience - when it doesn't, you realize that saving 60 cents isn't worth the hassle. In an effort to enjoy the benefits I've gone out of my way, adding detours and making u-turns in order to go to a BP. Even when the location supports the app, it's no certainty that the things will work out. Ultimately, not worth it at all. I'll stick to using gas card or a credit card that offers points and rewards for fuel.

I am literally sitting in front of a pump at a station that has the mobile icon and the app is saying station not found!!! I search for it and I can see my blue location dot at the station but it still says location not found!!! This very frustrating. This is unreliable technology. This should NOT be the ONLY means by which you can get your savings. Very disappointed!!!

Update: BP reached out to me to resolve the below issues. They were helpful and did manage to troubleshoot one issue, so increase to 4 stars. Ultimately the app needs to work faster, esp in NJ where we are NOT allowed to pump our own gas!! ... Worked the first time, but not since. The app is slow I couldn't seem to get past the payment screen. Gas station attendants couldn't figure it out either. They thought the app is overly complicated and results in delays and lost business.

This app used to be great...but the last couple of times, I haven't been able to use it. I'm logged out & can't get logged back in without providing a number other than my own since it is already attached to my account. I've tried uninstalling it & reinstalling it, but the issues continue. If you want to provide password-less login, use fingerprint login.

When it works, it's wonderful. However, it is extremely frustrating to be sitting at a station and have the app say you're not at a station. It's absolutely useless to have the option to look up the nearest station and still not be able to select it; especially when you are already there. Either the stations or the app needs an update, but the former rewards program should not have ended until the new version was fully operational.

When attempting to use the app to pay for fuel I get message saying, Hmmm. You don't seem to be near a station. The app shows the location of the station I am at when trying to pay for fuel. I sumitted a support ticket August 26th and the issue is still unresolved. I tried paying for fuel last night 11/15/2020, after receiving a phone call a few days earlier saying the issue with the station had been resolved. Still doesn't work, keep getting the same message. I never had a problem before.

Started out bad, but getting better. Initially I could not enter my American Express card, apparently because the app was expecting exactly 16 digits (Visa, M/C, Discover), and AMEX is only 15 digits. The app would also not reliably start, I had to try to open it multiple times. On the second time I used it, they fixed the AMEX problems and I could enter my card, but the app was still unreliable and took an extra try to get it to work. The last two times I have used it, it has worked fine. Using this method to pay takes a little longer, and it is also a hassle to check the pump number I have pulled up to, from inside the car.

thus far all the app does is spin circles while trying to sign me in with my rewards email. can't get past it at all update: they fixed whatever bug was causing the issue. I am really enjoying the app. I like the convenience and peace of mind that comes from paying with the app so that I don't have to worry about card skimmers on the pumps. Also it keeps all my gas receipts in once place so I don't lose them.

Work perfectly for a few months and I LOVED IT! Was so convenient and I really loved the discount. Then all of the sudden one day it no longer will let me log in. I've uninstalled and re-installed the app a few times. Even tried to make 2 new accounts. Now I have 3 accounts with BP and cannot use any of them. Quite dissatisfied with it. I miss the discount card that I could just swipe and get the discount. It worked just fine!

This app is great, when it works. Twice now, I have been at the pump trying to use the app to pay. Twice the app has not loaded. it just sits on the opening screen and the loading bar incessantly goes across the screen to no avail. If this happens a third time, I will delete the app. it was downloaded to be more convenient, and at this point, it is anything but.

I was much happier with the previous system for the rewards. The rewards card was easy to use and never failed as the app now does. There was also the option to enter my phone number instead. Now the app is far too slow, hobbled by poor cell reception and limited to the household member who has it installed. Not in any way an improvement from the prior method, it's inconvenient, slow and frustrating.

Pros are when the app works, the rewards are useful! I like that it is contactless and usually easy to use. However, the app frequently logs me out and then locks me out.The login process in general is slow and annoying. Now with the new update where it is requiring a cell phone number, it just won't let me add one with the popup that 'an error has occurred', so I'm just stuck I guess. Additionally I have a huge gripe that gift cards cannot be loaded into the app for use.

Most convoluted sign-up process I have ever seen. You should be able to sign up strictly in the app and confirm your email after. They have you bouncing back and forth to emails three times with the last one being to set a password in a browser, not in the app for some reason, and the browser page goes nowhere. I couldn't set a password after all that. None of these gas rewards apps work well, if at all. I'm done trying. Certainly not worth relying on instead of carrying your card or cash.

A failed attempt at upgrading the rewards program. The app is so slow, that I can pay at the pump with a CC, and fill up before I even get to the point of entering a pump number. Sometimes it takes so long to login that my phone powers down, which then resets the login process. I've also had to reenter my payment info at least 3 times. So much for linking a CC. When I've looked to see if I got credit for fueling, nothing, and then I see there's no stored payment info again.

UPDATE: 03/23/2021: This app finally works for me. Only one problem left (not a very big deal though). It doesn't work at all stations all the time, even though it has worked at those stations in the past. And it keeps my pymt info now. Dec 1, 2019. This app is bad. It works now at the stations where I go. But now there's a different problem. I do NOT sign out of the app yet my credit card info is gone and I have to re-add my pymt info. When I try to add it it says it cannot be added!....

Recently this app started randomly logging me out, so every time I try to use it I have to go through the hassle of getting a one time login emailed to me. Once I get logged back in the settings have changed, the print receipt at pump is tuned on. I don't want that tuned on. Do not recommend. Update, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app as requested. The problem still persistes. I randomly get logged out and have to go through an email process to get logged back in. One star review remains.

While attempting to buy gas, I was forced to download the app. I log in to the app after it asking me to log into my e-mail to retrieve a code. I input the code and my phone browser opens. When I switch back to the app, the app still doesn't work. This is a major problem. I normally stop at BP because it's on the way to work. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the app with the same problem. Please allow usage of the BPme up until you fix this issue.

Installed app, added two debit cards. It immediately placed $100.00 holds on both accounts to verify them. Make sure that you can take the hit. BP should validate accounts with $0.50 cents or $1.00 dollar. Not $100.00 per account. EDIT: My initial review was scathing, however, I've reconsidered my position. $100 is exorbitant, and virtually unheard of. Someone with little available funds could be harmed as a result. Outside of that, the app works as advertised.

After logging in, I already had an account for a Discover card on there, but I've never had a Discover card before. The app wouldn't let me delete that card, even after adding my PayPal card to it as my default card. After I gave up and closed the app. A few seconds later I got a text message saying that my PayPal purchase couldn't be completed because my account didn't have the funds, and it had a shortcut below that with a strange website, telling me to click on it to complete my transaction.

App worked flawlessly the first time I used it. Now trying to log in, all I get is an error message. The only reason you're still getting 2 stars, is because I can still do what needs to be done at the store/pump to get my rewards. How about y'all update the app to fix the current bugs y'all seem to be experiencing?????, instead of ignoring them
