Useful app but needs improving. Virtual cards have no text anymore! Transactions history doesn't have crt account value also. Last update blocked non-alfanum chars in card names! Trans details dont allow these chars anymore: (); Recurent pays: -cannot be set without transfer taking place even for different date. -value is fixed, no interval as between 0-999 (BT24 did). -cannot fully edit them (BT24 could). -cannot use economy accounts (Neo can). -recurent pays from Neo / BT24 dont show up here.

I've been using this app for a while now and since last update it keeps asking me to update the default payment app and I have it set to google wallet and I don't want to change it. It is very annoying that this notification shows up every single time when I start the app. Please do something to stop it.

Always declining the bank card, not reading it error, card not recognized and so on, although everything is up to date. If you don't fix it, we will move to another bank. Thank you.

Edit Oct 2025: now the app asks you to set is as the default payment app every single time it's opened. Really buggy, and a lot of times it doesn't work. Don't know how this has 4,6 stars, reviews are obviously rigged

Since last week does not work, "securitate compromisă". Uninstalled, reinstalled, same message. No remote control apps on phone, used to work fine until July 25th. Wrote an email to support, zero answers. App update on August 16th, same behavior. Un-installing /re-installing the app did not help.

very bad app. worst interface then Neo, and stopped working after 3 months, went in person on 2 different location, signed a bunch of papers to give them consent to fix it, and after 3 weeks still no update, on the phone they require you to give them accept in the app that is not working to begin with. Worst app I ever use and very bad customer service. Unfortunately we got no alternative, except phisically taking the money out every month from the ATM... 2025 technology by Banca Transilvania

When I try to login in the app, the keyboard doesn't pop up to allow the entry of the verification code. Also the throttling conditions are crazy: after 3 attempts it put you with a back-off of 8h...it is simply unusable! BT folks you need to get your UX in order! I'm trying to reach the call center for support, but it seems not possible. Your services are subpar compared to any other respectable bank which offers online services! horrible.

Very bad experience lately, as it spams the user select the default wallet afer each close and open of the app IF you select anything else than BT Pay as default wallet. Very very cheap move, like malware, makes me consider other banking option as this is NOT accepted behaviour.

Changes in payments limits were made without having customer informed. I spoke with support, after 40min of waiting and they told me the that I could not buy from the website because they were asking for payment without cvv. Tough all my purchases require me to ad card and cvv, my payments get decline. It's not just one website, but ALL. And the bank made this change without telling customers anything about it. I am waiting to end my credit and will close accounts soon. 16yrs with them.

It asks to default NFC payment app each time you start it. It takes me straight to the pick default payment app in the settings, there's no screen to ask "This is not your default, do you want it to be default", and then REMEMBER me picking NO. S21FE OneUI 7. On the up-site, everything else still works fine.

Useless for American customers / US carriers phones. The auto-fill feature is not working during the initial setup after BTPay was installed. I updated two separate phone numbers (one T-Mobile/ one on AT&T) at the local BT branch. None of them would auto-fill the 2FA code, and you're stuck, as the app developers/BT would not allow a keyboard to get that typed in

That was quick. I got an update to the app and I was able to login. Changing my review to 4 stars (I still need to get used to a new app instead of NeoBT, but all good so far). Original review: Standard phone (Pixel 9 Pro), standard Android (16), US based phone number. I cannot login as the SMS they send is not auto filled. And they say ... thought luck ... ... and now BTPay is the only way you can do things online at Banca Transilvania. It looks like it is time to move to another bank.

Absolutely horrendous, atrocious, this is the worst banking app ive ever seen in my life. I dont even know how i got it to work on one phone but on the other two its simply impossible. I cant even type in the verification code and on the first phone i could, its not basically locked for some reason a glitch occured and its inaccesible. Its not that hard to do an acceptable front end but im not even gonna say that because i dont know how they managed making the backend.

there are / were multiple banking apps for Transilvania now, like Btpay, NeoBT, BTGo, etc. it is annoying that you cant do all your financial management in the same app. the number of updates for BTPay is ridiculous, I swear I feel like every second week theres a new version to update to. In BTPay there are recurring payments which I cant see, for example a metropolitanlife monthly subscription which didn't appear in my transaction list here but in NeoBT I could see it... small annoying things

After recent updates, every time the app is opened it shows a pop-up suggesting to replace Google Pay as the default payment method. While the app works generally well, this kind of dark pattern is extremely annoying (especially because now it is the single all-inclusive banking app) and should be discouraged.

This app compared to any other modern banking app is really subpar. With Bt pay kiddo you can't even see the transactions on your bank account only the ones made with your card and you can't make any IBAN payments with it , also asks every time to switch it to the default wallet app from Google pay which will never happen it's also slow and sluggish and buggy, you don't have any discounts or nothing, I recommend ING Young instead of BT Pay Kiddo for my fellow teens, it's not perfect but better.

App behaves like an ad for BT. Always asks to be default payment method. Everytime I open the app. I raised this issue numerous times, with no effect. That is not how you treat your users, especially after announcing the closing of all of your other apps. I'll close all accounts I have at BT, there is no regard for user experience from this bank.

Had two weeks of normal use, then the app erroneously detected my device as being rooted because it runs GrapheneOS. Their "security concerns" are meaningless drivel, both because grapheneOS doesn't reduce security compared to the stock OS and because other banking apps have absolutely no problem with it. I tried reaching out to support, it did indeed work afterwards, for about 3 hours. and then it reached the same state, where it was asking to uninstall itself.

I was using this app last year, and I was working just fine. After they killed NeoBt, I was forced to try this app. Horrible, it would not register my number. I would receive the sms, but it would not autofill in the app. I spoke with a few representatives from BT, the same answer, the phone is the problem. I switched the phone, but still no success. The application is horrible, is not working, and nobody can give a response or help me with my problem.
