Terrible phone app on Android phone. I've used the app before with no issues. I noticed the app has been upgraded. I've attempted to make a reservation. Each time I get to the verification page. I click continue and it takes me back to the beginning. I called for help, I'm forwarded to six different people. No one from Technical Support.

Fairly useless app, as when you are sent a link for "early check-in" it does not use your saved profile information, and then when you get to the insurance up-sell page, it stalls and will not let you "continue" the early check-in. It is marginally interactive with reservations made through Travelocity. I was expecting a seemless interface between two national name brand transportation providers.

They are better by the day. Will stay with BGT. But the problem with the app is that it has issues. One issue is that it won't save the fastbreak number. The other issue is that there's no text support via app. One other issue is that you can't change reservations via app. You have to call. And other things that I don't recall for now. But, the service, pickup/drop of times, cars, and locations are the best.

For the most part the app is good. The gripe I have is when you search for an upcoming rental, and it finds it, the app should load it to your account for easy retreival. Having to go back to the search function again to look at recents is absolutely silly, and a poor design. Most of the time, my rental is not visible in my upcoming as they are done through third-party (my job). I would figure, once I search it, and it realizes the account and person are the same, that it would link them.

I'm really getting sick of these damn useless and dysfunctional apps!!!!!!When on the last pay to confirm, it ask me to to check and edit my info. I press the continue/confirm button and it just jumps back to the first page to enter a new reservation. Somehow it just doesn't complete the rental. This just keeps happening every time I try to rent causing me to rent elsewhere. Also this disaster of an app doesn't show current reservations in your profile - you have to remember your reservation #

This app is quite terrible. Makes doing even the basic thing difficult and when there is something wrong with an input it provides no direction. You can't simply delete the BDC from the reservation you're trying to make and rather have to delete it from your profile. The app seems fine if it worked as directed, but back end issues causes major headaches for simple tasks.

States that you are able to reserve a rental car using a debit card, yet once you arrive you are subjected to a credit check in order to actually rent the reserved car. The CATCH? Well, once you reserve online using your debit card, if you do not "pass" the credit check at the Budget location and are found to not have credit to Budget standards....you are still charged a large fee for cancellation of your reservation. No thank you! Enterprise is where I go!!

Lacking data options: was told at the counter that I could add multiple discounts for price compare (could only enter 1 BCD code); was told I could enter multiple credit cards (could only enter one); only had 2 rentals in my history when I logged in to create at least 5 in the past year. All this found from just downloading, haven't thoroughly checked out the app. Where's the website replacement benefit? I can use the browser for a better experience.

This app is janky af - worse than their website, which I didn't think could happen. Won't let you modify reservation. If past original return date, it won't let you save any changes. Logs out constantly, won't accept CC details for club subscription, it's like nothing syncs up at all. I also got a car with tabs that expired June '22! Was told no big deal, prob won't get ticket. But c'mon, I'd like to avoid getting pulled over at all. Guess there's a reason they're cheaper than the others...

App allows you to reserve at locations that are not able to fulfill the reservation. Logs you out while using the app and after selecting keep me logged in. App lists phone numbers for locations that only go to reservations center. Reservations center staff are non native speakers of English. Poor connections to reservations center staff. Policies that are not customer friendly. Hidden fees and other charges. Many exceptions for almost anything to the benefit of Budget.

The app will not allow me to book a car. After I enter my phone number it goes back to the start screen. I have to log into the website anyway. Update: The app still kicks you back to the main loading screen. App does not work!! Customer service never picks up their phones and is unavailable. I was transferred 3 times waited for over an hour and got a dial tone of being disconnected twice and had to recall. I will be using a different rental company from now on.

Uninstalling this app. I can only look at my current reservation and make of my car, other than that it is useless. Not user friendly. I can't confirm pickup or drop off location. I can't extend or return on app. I can't make a reservation on app, keeps giving error messages. Don't make an app just to say hey look we have an app. The powers that be don't care about customer service and experience.

The Budget Car Rental App keeps popping up a message saying "we cannot process your transaction at this time," even when no transactions have been requested. It's also really pushy about accessing Location instead of bringing up the Budget office where I want to make a reservation. It's easier calling on the phone instead of using the App.

Can't extend rental in app. Major deal breaker. Had to go all the way home to extend rental. This app is really useless if it doesn't provide the same or better experience than the website. On that note, it's also not clear on the website how to extend rental. You have to hit a button that says ENHANCE MY RENTAL, at first glance a user would assume this is to add a feature. Once you get to the next page it has the option to modify rental. Why not just have an additional button EXTEND MY RENTAL.

First time ever that it was freaking hard! Everytime I entered my email address it told me it was invalid! I tried to scan my credit card, that didn't freaking work either! It auto filled in my billing address for the state of Pennsylvania!!! Finally, I just signed in as a guest. Even that was complicated! So, for some reason, what usually takes me a few minutes, almost to an hour! Hopefully this won't happen again!!! I need a drink!!!

The Ford Escape was very comfortable and very good with gas mileage. When we picked it up at Bozeman Airport, a combination of letters and numbers were written in the four quadrants of a large plus sign. Walked back inside the building to get something to clean it off.They had nothing to clean it with. I realized I had left my pocket calendar in the SUV when we returned it to the Jackson Hole Airport.Called customer service. Referred to app. Lost & Found doesn't work for that location!!!

Ditto everyone else. Due to the holiday, I was having some difficulty extending my rental unless I return to airport. Decided to try the app and, as others, I can not. I think this is the shortest lived app ever on my phone. Less than 30 minutes. I definitely do not recommend.

Horrible app!!! When you make your reservation, it doesn't show it on the app. When you pay for the full price , it doesn't show it on the app. It looks like I never paid. The price is different from what I reserved the car for. And so on. Keep your email confirmation because that's the only proof you have. Update: they created a claim for them to review, and it takes 5 to 7 business days. I wasted 4 hours to resolve this, and it hasn't been resolved yet. Now they are saying glitch in our system

Unable to update any contact information on the edit profile page. This gives an error about an invalid credit card number even though I'm not updating the credit card, and there's no field for CC on the profile page. I updated the CC anyway, just to see if this would fix the issue (it didn't). I tried to send feedback about this bug through the app and got a 'page not found' error. This doesn't inspire confidence...

Not worth it! Doesn't allow me to add reservations made by my travel agent. I got the app to skip the line and go straight to my car. It doesn't work though, the staff at PHX made me get in line with everyone else. Already in line over an hour! Unacceptable! Might as well uninstall! Won't be choosing budget as my rental car again!
