Want to pay for no ads, but still get ads? Play this game! The gameplay is actually pretty good. Good enough that I paid to remove ads. I have no idea what it removed though, it still requires you to watch ads to unlock anything. Pretty much everything is locked behind ads regardless if you paid to remove them. Honestly, I've never had a worse ad experience.

I played this back when ads, energy, and keys weren't a thing. It was quite the enjoyable experience. I barely recognize this game today compared to its older, superior version. The actual set-building is still fine but everything else is objectively worse. I can't help thinking there were better ways to monetize this game without putting off players.

The game used to be fun. but everything is becoming hidden behind more and more ads. Before, when you completed all of the sets within a collection, you got a special reward (keys, banners, icons, so on). now you have to watch an ad to get it. You also don't get the sets in the spins. (literally watched it on the kit then skip to the next tile before rewarding you). and lastly, the free 90 energy has been hit or miss in getting it. (it seems like it's every week now instead of daily).

Many of the other reviews are a bit too harsh in my opinion, but I will say there are things I miss from the old Buildit. Firstly, I HATE the new energy system. One of the things that made this game unique was the lack of an energy system, so the addition of one has slowed the game down. While the basic gameplay has remained largely unchanged, the daily challenges are completely gone afaik, and some sets are paywalled (which is to be expected, I guess). All in all, tho, it's still a fun game.

It was 5 stars but I just knocked it down because they just put a bunch of stuff behind ads. You no longer get ANY rewards for leveling up. You don't even get the rewards for completing collections. It's all behind ads. Absolutely ridiculous, I was planning to finish the entire game but now I'm so annoyed with it I probably will delete it soon Edit: Don't even get me STARTED on the energy system. Is FOUR popups when you run out really necessary? It's been going downhill for a while, RIP buildit

Normally, I would rate this game 5 stars. I really like it and love the sets. However, things that were given away by the game for completing sets and earning exp now require you to do those things *and* watch an ad on top of it. I'm fine with some ads because I know they're mostly unavoidable, but I'm not fine with suddenly requiring us to watch ads to get things that had no ad requirement before.

Really unhappy with how this game has changed. Last time I played, you got to build what you wanted with little restrictions, and it was simple and calming. That's all this game needed to be. Now, I open the game to be overwhelmed with loot boxes, events, season passes, a restrictive energy system, and exclusive sets locked behind a paywall popping up right as you launch the game. Why does every mobile game have to do this now? It's just exhausting and unneeded at this point.

This is a fun little game. Downloaded it to try out and see how much you can do without spending money before I decided if I would download it for my kid and pay for the ad free. Honestly there seems to be a lot you can do for free. There's a decent drop rate of sets for the loot boxes HOWEVER. It absolutely isn't what they say it is. The info in the app says that sets are 47% chance and I have gotten mostly coins I feel like, despite that being listed as 10% chance. Also very little energy.

I've been playing the game for a while now, and I honestly enjoy the experience. The builds are interesting, and I don't even mind waiting for the energy. My problem is with the ads. Early on I did purchase the ad blocker, and I'm happy that I did, I'm just upset that now whenever I go and collect a reward from the Events, it's blocked by an ad. Can't we go back to how it originally was with it being COMPLETELY FREE and then if you want more needing to purchase the premium?

completely infested with ads! want rewards for leveling up? ad. want rewards for completing a full set? ad. want rewards in the weekly pass? ad. they also shove 5 pop-ups in your face every time you run out of energy. speaking of energy, it takes way too much to build; each pack takes 30 energy, and you only have a max of 90, which isn't even enough to complete a build sometimes. I really want to like this game, but I can barely play for 5 minutes before I run out of energy which is absurd

I really like this game, but after recent updates, every single profile picture I earned was gone. They sent an apology msg about this to presumably all players, but the gift they included with said msg was not comparable to how much I lost. I can't obtain a new profile pic with the gift, and have no idea how to get my old ones back. I earned them through hours and hours of play time so to lose items I had grown attached to feels awful. I tried playing the game, but felt too sad to continue :(

This was an ok Lego sim, but the ads are obtrusive and essentially required to make any progress since everything is locked behind tickets and energy. There are questionable design decisions in almost every model. I just finished one where it had me continue building without connecting the pieces. It eventually did connect later on in another area, but with only a single stud. Having an impossible design get into the game is the final straw. Uninstalled.

cool concept, it feels like the game is unsure whether it wants to solve builds for you or have you figure it out, some items you can just drag on, some need needlepoint accuracy. I've never seen a game be so against being played as this one, you need basically 2 different currencies to unlock the next builds, and it seems to be an ad grind fest of hoping the wheel gives what you need. I ended up dropping it.

honestly, it kills me to rate this game any less than 5 stars, but I agree with the other comments- watching the game devolve into constant ad watching even after buying no ads. Lego must have recently legally threatened them, too, because the builder people are different and the blocks look different than they did. don't like the new palette as much. wish they'd chill out on ads and actually give rewards like they used to. game itself is incredibly satisfying and fun. miss my orange cat icon.

My main problem is a lot of things have changed since I first stated playing and none of it for the better. You used to get a lot of things for watching various ads and it's all gone now. Spinning the wheel is a joke to eat diamonds and never refresh the free spin. The only reason I still play is because there's nothing else like it, all somebody has to do is make a quality competitor and, listen to feedback, slap a price on it, and not bombard you with ads and I'd drop this game in a heartbeat

The game was enjoyable, until my energy ran out and now I have to close 4, FOUR!, different payment options to get more energy. It does this EVERY SINGLE TIME my energy goes below the 30 needed to complete the next build. The fact I can't close it once, then decide on my own is just ridiculous.

This game was truly designed for mechanical-minded people. There are lots of sets to make, ample rewards, and did I mention it saves money? Cause we all know LEGO sets aren't cheap! I love how once you fully deplete your energy, they give you another set for free once a day, and that buying the ad remover removes almost all ads. Only complaints I have are the graphics which are kinda grainy, and some of the steps could use some rework to make them feel more like a natural LEGO set.

This game is so fun, especially for someone who loves LEGO. Unfortunately, I dropped my phone and it restarted, now the app has started me back at the beginning. I've lost everything I've done. I just purchased a couple of bundles and they're gone, too. I tried sending an email to the email address listed in the settings but apparently it's not working.

it's a fun game, and a few weeks ago I would have given it 5 stars but the free spin barely ever works and...in the last week the ads have become too much. it used to be a good ratio but now it's ads for everything. you level up and you now to watch ads for the measly spoils, anything you work towards you have to watch ads. didn't used to be like this and it turns you off the game.

What you have is an absolute gem. I don't think there is anything like it. However, you are taking this and ruining it. The energy system, everything being locked behind ads is atrocious. If you absolutely focus on development and got rid of that all and slapped a 5 dollar price tag on it, you'd get a better experience. I would absolutely pay 5 bucks to build little tiny sets especially if you dedicate development time on them to make them really cool. It'd be cheaper than the irl thing.
