"DO NOT BUY" . During my time with Bumble. I purchased a 6-month Premium with a 2 month Premium+ package. In that time, I devoted a lot of spare time to this endeavor. In the end, I got zero dates and a couple of stale conversations. The app does not incentivize women to send messages. Bumble has shown me what is wrong with the online dating scene where neither side is being held accountable. It's a waste of time and effort to purchase their Premium packages. If you are a guy,do not purchase.

First move isn't alerting matches so they don't know that they need to reply. Women would need to show them the request which defeats the purpose. Edit: Whoever just replied has no idea of their new features. Shouldn't you know your own product? There is a new feature that is supposed to send a message you select. You don't know that? Embarrassing.

This app is ridiculous!! I thought maybe I'll try it out one month paid. BIG MISTAKE!!! I tried to cancel BEFORE my month was up so I didn't get charged again. But when I went to Google play, it said my subscription was canceled already. So I thought no big deal. Then the one month came and I got charged. I contacted support WITH SCREEN SHOTS that it WON'T let me cancel and they said they can't issue me a refund due to me not canceling before the month was up. It's all a scam!!!

New profile showing algorithm makes it nearly impossible to find the one person who liked my profile while being a free user. In the past, it was very easy to see the users who liked you but now I feel every time I'm on here, I'm wasting so much time just trying to find the person who liked my profile. This practice discourages matching people and overall goes against the purpose of the app.

Disappointing Experience- CAUTION Unfortunately, while my subscription was active, I didn’t see any noticeable increase in matches. Ironically, the moment my subscription ended, I suddenly started getting more matches, which leads me to believe that the app withholds potential matches to entice you to keep paying. This felt very manipulative and dishonest. I HAVE RECIEPTS, this is correct, thus plays w user emotions and finances.

NOTING ON THE APP WORKS! If I could give negative reviews i would. It is now showing me guys. And telling me they are potential matches when i swipe left. A friend shared a profile of someone we know. Then you click on it and it says the profile doesn't exist. While they say their account is working fine. App doesn't work. It's full of issues. It's full of bots and fake profiles. The matches I get seem like fake profiles. And they never reachout before two days of expiration.

The "bold" new "redesign" which was literally just changing things from shades of yellow to white and light gray makes it eye searing since there's no dark mode. I never thought pale yellow would be a positive, darker alternative to something, but here we are. It looks like an amateur developer's learning project now. It's obvious they don't employ any type of UI designer. Makes me not even want to look at it, so I might just stop using it.

The overall functionality of this app is very good, it's much better than match. The biggest issue with it is security... It is always telling people your location. They require you to pay for premium service to disable location tracking. While I understand the service can't be completely free, THIS is a security/safety issue. I disabled location tracking via my phone but then the app doesn't work. Both match and FB allow you to set a defined location.

Was pretty good until they removed the advanced filters. I'm even on their boost tier subscription and don't get any advanced filters without paying more. Edit: little over a year later and they still haven't resolved this. Too bad was one of the better apps. Edit 2: two years later and they're bragging about a new better bumble but height filter still behind a pay wall for some reason. 🤷🏼♂️

The new algorithm has clearly made it harder for men to get any genuine matches. However I have two significant issues with the app right now: 1) If it aims to create inclusion and be agnostic to gender, why is it that "women send the first message" as opposed to either person who matched doing it? Most people may not even remember and keep waiting on the guy to text - something the app will never allow. 2) The superswipe button makes it likely to misclick, as a large blob all the way down.

Used this app for two months and nothing happened. No, conversations, dates, nothing. I used all the features available, both free and paid to help my search, left compliments and nothing. I find it difficult to believe some random girl I swipe right on has a full inbox, so the app actually shows my likes and comments or not. Either way, I tried and it doesn't work. Don't waste your time.

Predatory subscription. It's very easy to sign up for premium and almost impossible to cancel the subscription. I got charged for subscription even after I unlinked my account info. Also, got matches but if you don't pay, you can't see them. They really really want your money when all they provide is a matching service. Would not recommend.

I've used this app several times over the last few years, never paid for it. I always use the same bio and while I'm never drowning in likes (2 or 3 a week on average), I can almost always find a match worth talking to. Fast forward to the last month where I actually paid for premium and.... An entire month without a single like and while traveling the state! Deceptive business practices, false advertising, and a scam. Once you pay, I believe they limit who can see your profile.

Has become a complete swindle at every turn! Used to be alright, but now you can't do anything at all without paying the ridiculous prices that they throw in your face every 2 seconds. I literally can't even get suggested matches after this last update, lol. It just sits there acting like it's thinking, until I go to another screen and it immediately tries to hoodwink me into paying for something. Seriously, tone down the aggressive sell. Also, there's a ton of fake profiles on it. 🗑

Okay, at best. I'd love to: 1) be able to see who I swiped right on. I forget because you swipe left on a lot. 2) be able to see if someone that you swiped right on looked at your profile, and if they did, and bypass you, then you know to move on. ** UPDATE ** You should be able to set your home location. I don't have travel mode, and I'm forced to see others in an area I'm not in for long. Dropped two stars because it's useless when away! This goes for others traveling in the area. Useless!

Guess more info is cool, it's helpful in some situations. But it really does feel like it's trying to steal your money, tries really hard to make you want the upgrades and then charges you an absurd amount for it and that's not unique. And the 24hr match timer thing makes me anxious and I don't like it at all, It seems pointless. Also the new update sucks. The new info and options for your profile are cool. But it feels too professional visually. I feel like I'm reading a resume now, hate it.

The app is great! Until you're ready to cancel your subscription. You'll go through all the steps in the app itself and through your app store, disconnect your card, cancel the subscription, and then they charge your card again. You reach out to customer service and "they don't allow refunds." They conveniently make it difficult to cancel so you keep paying for something you no longer want.

After upgrading to premium +, I am unable to view profiles that have sent me "like". When I click on the profile thumbnails I get a white screen and unable to see the profile. I have made several attempts to resolve issue but no resolution, despite following ALL their recommendations; An extension was offered, which expires in a day. Bumble support is still trying to figure out the problem. Really? I can only advice to avoid the upgrades, just keep the free version.

I give it a solid 2 for what it is. It's slightly better than Tinder, but basically impossible to get matches without having to pay for additional features. At first, you get quite a few matches, but as the days progress the number of people who "liked" you keeps growing but those people do not show up to swipe on unless, you guessed it, you pay for additional features to see those people pop up in your stack. At that point it's not really a dating app and just super frustrating to use.

Unless you pay, you can't filter beyond age, gender, and distance. I'm personally not very desirable and couldn't find any matches, which is fine, but my issue is with payment security. I wanted to try a day or two of plus, and afterwards I deleted my card and put my account on snooze. I checked my bank account a few days later and had been getting charged still. I had to contact support to cancel, but did not get a refund.
