I'm okay with the annoying startup pop up. It's the best because of an ad-free app. EDIT: Used to be my default VNC app, but I moved to a different one because of some long lasting minor bugs.

It works flawlessly! A very good implementation of the VNC protocol. A tiny bit on the expensive side if you want to get the paid version but the free version is fully functional anyway.

Works well. No significant complaints (not like I'm going to be doing anything substantial from my phone) but the button layout could be adjusted a tiny bit (it seems I need to minimise keyboard to get the normal menu to disconnect)

you have a greate app, but UI is for pro users. after few hours i managed to make vnc over ssh working. it was necessary to choose ConfigureAutoX-> FindOrCreateWithXvnc. please overview this control style to make it look more actionable. i see it as black text on gray background. same style as inactive text. thank you for your project

Got this to use with my Computer via PiKVM and works very well. Has been working flawlessly and haven't had any issues in the 2 years I've been using it. I appreciate the developer commenting on and addressing the issues I did originally bring up.

UPDATE: I previously reviewed as 4 stars due to the error when connecting to UltraVNC servers at anything other than 24 bit ("Connection Failed Unknown RFB message type 26"). However, the developer has stated this is an issue with UltraVNC and not bVNC. Apparently it never worked with lower color modes (I just assumed it was, but it always ran in 24 bit mode). It's a shame, but not Iordan's fault. If it becomes an issue, I'll likely look at replacing UltraVNC instead of bVNC.

Basics work nice, but I have 2 issues: (1) on every tap the menu at the right appears for a short time, can this be disabled or can a connection option be added for that, maybe only how it after a swipe or so and (2) on every tap a "VNC Beep" popup appears for a short time, why?

Waste of time, don't even bothering to evaluate. Clunky connection UI that resets fields on rotation. Overlay UI during connection is finicky, requires precision, and can block parts of your desktop. In my experience using this to connect to a Tight VNC server, it simply stops responding after a few minutes. Before it craps out, it's unusably slow.

Works perfectly. I have an old phone and this app was one of the few that was available on the play store. It's too bad this app doesn't have closer to a 5 star rating... just reading some of the low rated reviews you can see that most cases are PEBCAK error and in cases where it's a bug the dev has followed up and tried to fix it/get more info. Props to the dev ✊

Works great, thumbs up. One issue is that when pinch-zooming to fit a window in view, it may "snap to 1:1 zoom" which can be very annoying if 1:1 zoom is the wrong size. There seems to be no way to make the window the right size, if exactly the right size is too close to 1:1 zoom. I don't see the point of snapping to 1:1 zoom anyway, and I don't see a way to disable it. If I wanted 1:1 zoom then I would have selected that scaling option, instead of "zoomable."

Sadly, this app is kinda junky. Was hoping to find a replacement for VNC Viewer, and it looks like this one is good from a privacy perspective. However, the functionality just isn't there. Triple monitor setup, connected easily enough, but the three screens were tiny and zooming was super janky. Trying to use the mouse was basically impossible. Changing input methods technically allowed it to start working, but the controls were so horrible, I just had to uninstall. Yuck.

While the UI isn't the best, it is functional. What really brings my rating down is that if you want to connect with AnonTLS enabled by selecting that option for the connection this app will fail to connect and suggest you turn off AnonTLS. Edit: Updated rating as dev is aware and actively working towards a fix.

Awesome! I did a setup with Dex and Termux so when it opens, it goes to Debian 10, starts a vnc server and automatically opens the RemoteCanvasActivity, so I get a direct connection. I would love if you can add the option to modify the defaults when it opens (resolution, immersive mode, extra keys), save the password when starting from the activity directly and to avoid creating new profiles every time I open from the Activity. Thank you anyways!

Overall, very good app ! And the best I found for some VNC over SSH. One odd thing though: Since the last update, the screen moves up and down when dragging up and down (with the "zoomable" feature). But I mean, more than the actual screen size, by showing black empty screen. It wasn't doing this before. Bug ?

I'm very pleased with this app. I'm using it to control my other Android phone with Alpha VNC lite server installed. Few suggestions for developer: - when I rotate server phone to landscape, only part of the bVNC phone image rotates (it would be nice if we can rotate both phones) - in fit-to-screen mode you can't zoom anything so zooming action with two fingers (pinch to zoom) can be used to zoom something on remote (server) phone (it is important function when you are connected to mobile phone)

Highly recommended. Been using for almost 4 years to remote access Linux workstations/servers. Still the best VNC app I've found, and it's given me the ability to perform meaningful remote tasks from anywhere via my phone. Easy to set up and highly configurable - I was able to quickly set up multiple connections from private and public networks using the VNC over SSH option. Supports passwords as well as RSA keys (easy to import) for better security. Once connected you get full functionality on the remote machine. The screen can be zoomed and panned, there's full mouse functionality including left/right/middle click, and the keyboard has CRTL, ESC, arrow, etc. keys. I upgraded to the pro version in recognition of the obvious amount of work that has gone into the app. Have a problem? I found the developer very responsive via the forum.

Following update the load screen is awful. It's like it's trying to confuse where you need to click so you click on an ad. Other than that it works fine once running. I find connection a bit faster than previous version. I'd prefer a menu option to select 'right click menu' than the current two finger tap, but it does work better than previous version.

Used to crash/disconnect a lot making the app unusable, but lately the connection is super stable,it even stays connected after running for a long while in the background, really happy with the app.Seems the issue may have been fixed I suppose (or it was my phone/network,though I didn't change anything on my side+my Windows VNC client worked perfectly..maybe a Samsung phone issue..).Btw i purchased aRDP Pro to get sound, both are wonderful apps, thanks for the amazing work. Will purchase here too.

Great VNC app for Android, pretty much the only option out there with a good use base and decent reviews that doesn't force you to add your server details to the cloud!!
