Great app, finicky check out process 4 steps and it goes straight to 4th step and you had to figure out how to switch to store delivery option which is like 2nd step. Product description like in reloading supplies at times shows a picture of large rifle primers but product description says small rifle primer and then order gets canceled product not in stock. Only 2 minor issues. Best thing about cabela is prices and availability compared to everyone.

I've had this app on my phone for about 6 months, it's never once worked. The app will start up, as soon as you click on an item to either try to see or purchase, you get a message "oops, something went wrong" absolutely nothing on this app works. My advice, go directly to the website or get out and drive to the nearest location because the app is literally just taking up memory on your phone.

Horrible app. Very unstable and doesn't do the same thing twice. Attempted to place an order and had to go in and out of the app no less than six times, trying and get Mt credit card info to save to no avail.. Tge app refused to accept my reward points $$ during checkout. What a horrible experience. Stick to online web via PC. Or better yet....go buy local.

Incredible app, crashes without even being open! ... Seriously this used to work fine but now I can't even open it, since it just crashes immediately. I even get messages that the app stopped working while I'm not even trying to use it. Hopefully this and the other reviews (and the plummeting rating) gets someone's attention, because this has been going on for a while and this company is big enough that surely they can afford to look into it.

Been shopping Cabela's for 25+ years. Used to use catalogue and mail order. Then started using online orders from my computer. When I started using "the app" on my phone, my granddaughter said,"Welcome to the new century Big Daddy!" (Yes, I had to get a 12 year old to show it to me and how to use it.🤣) It's much easier and faster if you know what you're looking for. But I also still like to browse through the catalogues.

Horribly glitchy app! It took a long time just to get 5 items in my cart. Once I was finally able to do that, it wouldn't accept a gift card. I gave in and put in my CC info.... But it wouldn't accept that either. Finally went online and had the entire order processed and paid in 3 minutes. Worthless waste of time and phone space!!!!

How are yall such a big company, but your app and website is the most glitchy and laggy app I've ever used. At this point, you couldn't pay me to order something online from yall. I placed one order for something, and it kept giving me error messages saying something went wrong, but somehow, purchased 3 of the orders, thankfully because I used a credit card I was able to dispute it but, thats ridiculous. Everything takes forever to load no matter your service. Scheels is infinitely better!

"We're sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later." Get used to seeing this phrase if you use this app. If you tap on certain products to see the description and maybe even purchase, it will give you this pop-up and kick you out to the home screen. How do companies make apps that are this unreliable? So many other shopping apps work fine - get with the times Cabela's!

Have had a cabelas card for more than 20 years or so. Had it with their changes. Can't scroll through App to find bargain cave anymore. Can't apply filters to narrow search. When I tried, it just had a incoherent S codes with a number that meant nothing. Nothing is easy with this company anymore. It used to be the tried and true go-to and now I avoid the place and this App. Sad, really

This is a great app if you are into fishing or hunting or just the great outdoors in general. The only issue I have is at checkout. If you select store delivery to avoid shipping costs, it doesn't work. It automatically reverts back to your home address and you get charged for shipping. However, you can call customer service and they will make the adjustment.

I wrote a long explanation as to the issues I am experiencing with the app and the errors I am receiving. I spelled it out quite nicely but it was too long. The summary is your app just SUCKS!! It is glitchy with the stupid swirling logo and the internal thinking at the checkout out, clears my cart, gives me some strange $0.01 error,tells me there is a new version but mine is updated to the newest version. It's problematic on my iPhone and my Samsung. I miss Cabela's.

I am forced to use this app to connect to my Wi-Fi smoker. This app is just terrible at connecting and staying connected. It regularly takes a couple of minutes to just connect to the smoker and will randomly disconnect and then take another few minutes to reconnect. Totally defeats the purpose of not having to walk outside in the cold to see what temperature the meat is at

Had this app for several years. It's been a great for researching products/prices. But since one of the more recent updates, Cabela's completely changed the app layout and user interface. Finding items is much harder. The categorization is garbage. EG: when searching for guns there is no clearly marked tab for "guns." The user has to look under "new shooting" then choose the "filters" tab then "filter by." Way too much work! Seems petty but nobody likes a difficult to use app.

Efficient! Easy to navigate, and up to date with current inventory levels, as well as how your order will be fulfilled. Tracking update emails are on point, and when an items is dropped, the compensatory promo code for the inconvenience is greatly appreciated. The return feature is simple, and needs to move away from Walgreens as a drop point.. went to 4 different locations which could not assist with the Fed-ex drop off. Ending printing label, and dropped directly to a Fed-ex shipping point.

Similar experience too all the other feedbacks. I have been a loyal Cabelas customer for a very long time. Honestly, both Bass Pro and Cabelas went downhill once combined. The old Cabelas format was much much much better. The new app is horrible. I find myself needing equipment and looking elsewhere for sure. I miss the days prior to the merge. The support was better, ordering was better, FINDING what you want on the website was much better. I still order some but much less than before.

Consistently logs you out, ridiculous page load time (feels like dial up, but you are screaming instead of the device). It changes your cart at random, filters for items do NOT enter what you put if you add more than one filter- even then, you may have to manually take filters off, if you have a loaded cart and log in to check out it WILL CHANGE YOUR CART!!! Only recommend for casual browsing of inventory, otherwise, don't waste the memory and just use their website.

Update keeps crashing EDIT: Developer responded within several hours and made corrections to the app to fix crashing issue. Haven't had a chance to use it a lot, but appreciate the quick response. 2nd Edit: can't view guns due to Google policy? Seems like a waste of effort. I'll just use a browser. This is just too much work.

As much as i like cabela's, their website/app absolutely sucks, if its not being insanely slow or not finding things that should be simple to find, its not letting me add things to my cart and when it does i cant order them. You would think a company this size would have a great website but their old app and the new one are the most annoying ones i have dealt with👎🏼👎🏼 extremely frustrating.

Great app, absolutely love it and use it a lot. However, after having it for a few hours, it crashes as soon as I open it and sometimes without even having it open. The only way I found to fix it is to uninstall the app and then reinstall it every time I want to use it. Unfortunate because the app is really well made, and I rate this 1 star because of a bug that should have an easy fix.

Absolutely terrible. Giveback the old app. First off, I can't login since they changed to the new app style. Second, you cannot search without the app buffering or stuttering to the point of crashing. Lastly if you search for something that is on the website (even with the item number) you will not find it on the app. It seems like you are shopping at a different store than Cabela's. Avoid and use the web store as it actually looks ok and works.
