This app works well enough as a secret gallery and file app, but it needs compatibility with SD cards. I recently moved my files to an SD card because my phone was running out of space. When I opened the app, I realized that I can't see or access any images or files unless they're on my phone's storage. So far this is my biggest complaint with the app. The ads are okay and the app runs well, but I needs a way to work with SD cards or to compress images and files to not max out storage space.

A+. Does exactly what it's supposed to do, great app. It could look a little nicer, like the photo vault could be improved to look more appealing, and the calculator doesn't look like the standard one I have at all, (mines blue) but it does the trick. Good idea, good execution, well done. Perfect place to hide all you homework. ( ͡°ᴥ ͡° ʋ)

Obviously the app is going to have ads, I get that. I'm fine with that. What I'm not fine with is ads with a "instant install" button that covers both a phones Home button and Back button. The moment you try to close the vault, if an ad was about to pop up you are suddenly now downloading an app you don't want and don't even know what it will do to your phone. Do NOT trust this vault app.

I've been using this for a while now and I've had no issues. I haven't found what the limit is but if you're trying to transfer over 75 videos at once, (thats the highest number I've tried) it's going to give you an error code and say there's not enough space so just try a lower number of videos and it'll work. There are some ad pop-ups but it's not anywhere near as bad as most other apps. The only negative I have is only when playing a video or looking at a pic. will it go into landscape mode.

I love this app. Fully functional calculator (it's actually my main calc app now). But, hit the right sequence and your encrypted/hidden space is available. --- I did have one instance of losing a file when trying to export it, but it wasn't a disaster. That's the only reason it loses one star, there is a small chance of data loss. But this app is doing exactly what I need it to do. I bought the premium and I don't regret it. This is a solid, stealthy hidden space. I'd recommend it.

I was looking for a file locker to secure Excel files on my mobile devices. This app is easy to learn and intuitive to use, and works well on *.pdf files, but not *.xlsx files. The Excel file can be encrypted or hidden, but cannot be subsequently opened with the Excel file reader that does open the file prior to placing in this file vault. Despite this, this app does work if the file is transferred to my mobile device in *.pdf format. I purchased the premium version - ads are worst ever!

So far ... So good!!! This app is pretty nice. Haven't tried all of its features yet but will update as i go along. You can hide pictures AND take pictures. Same with video, hide/capture. Hide audio and document files. As well as other type of files. That covers just about everything. Making this app very useful. AND there is no icon that lets others even know that you have a vault installed on your phone. All that appears is a calculator. AND YES = the calculator works, well, as a calculator!

I've had this for a week or so now & not yet had an issue. Using free version and the ads are barely noticeable. I can do anything like making new folders, or renaming Files all within the app. The browser option & note feature are also great. I've been thru a lot of these types of apps and have always had some type of issue right away. So 5 stars is well deserved!!

App was working fine until 3 days ago...I transferred pictures, videos and a few documents...now I can open and look at my files, but every time I try to add to a particular folder, the app keeps crashing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled...restarted my phone, shut off my phone to no avail. Sent email to developers but I'm waiting to hear back...just when I thought I found the perfect vault....1 star for now!!

Very well thought out and definitely considering a premium account. A premium subscription opens options such as; -intruder selfie cam (takes pic of any1 entering incorrect password), - fake password (entering the fake password will show fake content, - disable screenshots. It's got a notepad, private camera (where images are automatically encrypted and routed to the vault). My favorite option is being able to change a specific button from a short press to a long press. Increasing security.

I transferred about 75 videos and a couple days later, more than half of them were unavailable. There was a thumbnail of the encrypted video but clicking on it would bring up a notification saying the file couldn't be found. I've researched every way to retrieve the lost files and nothing has worked. Not worth the risk of losing sensitive data so make sure to backup the files somewhere else and not using this app as the only source for the file

What an incredible app. I can't believe it functions as a real calculator too! And with a good amount of functions. Love this for school calculations and for other stuff. Very well hidden, secure, and it was so easy to encrypt the photos I moved to the app. They even dissapeared from my phone files. Would 100% recommend. Ads aren't even close to being a bother. Wonderful app, 10/10.

Was a great app until recently, the ads are incredibly invasive. Before I was able to instantly close an ad as soon as it popped up, now I have to sit through a 5 second ad, click the skip button and then wait another 3 seconds to be able to completely close it. Also when browsing images every 2 to 3 an ad pops up. This is BS, before it was perfectly fine because I know you have to make money somehow, now they are just too invasive. I'm uninstalling this app and moving to a different one.

October 2021 I gave this app 5 stars! Never had any issues or problems and was always extremely easy to use. I've used this app for years without problems. But now, all of a sudden, this last phone swap, something somewhere went wrong. I lost EVERYTHING I had stored in it. And all the new stuff I just transferred into it became immediately unavailable to view after uploading them in the app. So I just lost it all, again... I followed all the steps I did the other times. So where did it all go?

Great app for sensitive files that you want hidden from any curious eyes going through your files. Once "uploaded", the original file is gone from public view on your device, and you must use your pin to find them. The process can be easily undone too using the pin, where the file gets unencrypted and put back to its original location. The ads are annoying and can cause freezing, but buy the pro version and they're gone. I also don't buy many apps. This one is worth it.

So far, the app has been working perfectly, and just recently I decided to buy the full version. The added features and no ads are nice, but the free version is more than good enough. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the fact that videos in the default video player (when set to repeat) have a ~0.5 second buffer time as the video is replayed. If there was an option to enable a "smooth" transition when replaying, I would bump this up to 5 stars. Despite that, it's really good.

"Unable to get file path." when I try to share photos from Google Photos to this app. I also cannot seem to find the same photos through the "add button" file browser within the app. At a loss here... It works if those photos were shot on my device, but if I download them from a shared album, it doesn't work. Please help. I am a lifetime subscriber. 🙏 The response below did not resolve my problem...

Works great! After a brief learning period, it behaves exactly as advertised. This was the 6th or 7th media vault app that I installed while trying things out, and I rejected dozens of others based on their privacy policies, download size, features, functionality or costs. One other ran as well as this, but wanted a lifetime fee (my preference) of a whopping $149. Damn. This one runs great with ads, or pay only $14.99 to run even better without ads. Even the SD card runs flawlessly.

It is a good app that does what it needs to and doesnt have a lot of the bugs similar apps do. I have not lost any files with this one. That said I have one issue. The grid size for albums can not be changed beyond the 2 presets. Albums are either a list or 2 wide grid. I have a lot of Folders. I would like either the option for a smaller grid displaying my folders or the option to put folders in other folders so it isnt 1 long list. Still love the app and will use but please add this.

The good: Good security. Good photo, gif and vid quality. Free with ads, lifetime without ads is 15$. Pretty good loading. Actually good calculator you might use. The bad: Free with ads, but the ads are very hard to ignore. Like 30second ad then you need to hit the small AF x to leave >:/ App wouldn't shut up for me to rate it. Images are cropped to squares until you select them. Videos can't be moved between smoothly, and swiping vertically changes the volume. Blew my ears out :(
