Unknown numbers can mean trouble. That’s why spam recognition is Clever Dialer’s most important feature. Because if an unknown caller wants to annoy you, we’ll find out who it is. By working with various partners, Clever Dialer can identify telephone numbers as spam and block them – making it the ideal ad blocker. Someone ringing from a call center can be identified for example, and the app can block the associated phone numbers. This works, even if you have no internet connection because all spam numbers are stored in your app and updated as soon as you are online. This way you are protected even if you are offline.
With the call blocker, you don’t have to bother with unknown numbers from call centers – identify spam and simply block the numbers – it makes life so much easier :)
It’s also possible to review the caller straight after the call. If you feel harassed, you can give the caller a bad review and also leave a comment directly. Everybody else benefits too because this means that the app warns even more effectively against annoying spam callers. Naturally, you can give a positive review and comments after a call, too.
Number recognition not only shows you unknown spam numbers but also allows you to block unknown callers. Identify calls and add the numbers to the Blocked list – then there’s no chance that those numbers can ever reach you again. Your telephone won’t ring if you receive a call from someone on the Blocked list – because the app recognizes the caller and instantly blocks the call.

Super App, nein nicht nur super, sondern die beste in dem Bereich. Ich bin total begeistert wirklich toll weiter so Unfortunately, I have to revoke my good 5-star rating when I wanted to buy the app again for a year I couldn't access it for three months now suddenly it works, there is neither an excuse nor anything else at least one could have offered me that one on The contract ends for two months, but the customer service doesn't seem to need to communicate with me. I haven't heard anything, so it was the last time that I signed up for this app. It's best to use another one because this is anything but customer-friendly bakery

Great app I was being plaughed with spamming calls installed the app and gradually blocked them. Will not eliminate nuisance calls but will build up a data base of blocked numbers and stop them calling.

Caller identification is a great feature and seems to be accurate most of the time (only doesnt work on those annoying number withheld calls, but don't think there is anything this app developers can do about that). Would be 5 stars, but I would like to see one of those quick scroll lists for contacts where the scroll bar is effectively the alphabet so you can jump to a particular letter immediately.

Nice, but could be better. The app feels a little incomplete compared to others, for example I would like to order contacts by surnane or remove the search local business tab but there is no option. It would also be nice to change the top graphic to something that suits my main phone theme or just a plain bar. But I have paid to remove add as it is the best dialer I've used, what it does do it does well. I would give it five stars if it would just let me customise it a little.

insideous. Disrupts every call, blocked or not, legit contact or not, incoming or outgoing. Disconnects calls in progress for no reason. Had it for months thinking I must be doing something wrong, but no, it's just a really bad app. Claims to register your blocked calls on a central DB, but I never once had a call blocked that wasn't already in my block list.

Makes your contacts totally customisable and it's easy to use, looks tidy and easy to navigate. Contact images adds to the appearance and it doesn't have any unnecessary padding such as erroneous graphics. It's the best that I've used thus far and that includes Drupe, so why not try it yourself as it's free and if it's not your cup of tea try something else?

Really great app for blocking nuisance callers however, if someone uses a private number, eg, a doctor uses their own mobile number, the call gets blocked. We no longer use a landline, so we have no alternative option

Great App, does what it's supposed to. However, the info bar that appears during the call blocks too much of the screan and can't be dismissed. Wherever you place it, it covers controls on the screen. Make it far more narrow or give it a 'remove during call' option. Update - thank you for getting back to me. I'd not tried swiping the info bar. D'uh. I just kept stabbing at it. I shall now give you 5 stars as the app works brilliantly, just dumb operator issues. 😊

I can barelly hear calls from contacts after installation. For some reason the max tone volume is really low after the installation

I've been using this app for several years and this is the very Best Free app that I have found...thank you to the developers... Great app! It automatically blocks spam calls and suppressed numbers, they don't even ring through and so much more, keep up the good work clever dialer... YOU GUYS ROCK!

Ideal. No más llamadas molestas y llamadas deseadas, bien señalizadas. Update. I have changed my phone since I wrote this and for some reason was using another app,.but now I have seen my error and have gone back to it. Better late than never. It really is the best one.

The reverse look-up has NEVER worked, and everything is basic, unless you pay and get the Pro version. *Your reply is over four years old, AND I've changed my phone since then!* - Doh! 🤦 I've noticed with every update, the number of spam call detections, diminishes!

I have been trying to replace the part of the phone that shows when I make and receive SIM calls. I'm able to set this app as the default dialer in android settings, but then I get a "complete action using" menu and this app isn't listed. As of 03-20-2020, this is not truly a dialer app, at least for my Blu G9 running android 9, updated to the latest version.

Pointless! Not sure if I did something wrong but I've had this app about a year now, never tells me who is calling. Tells me where the number is calling from but a caller ID feature is to identify who is calling. It only tells me who it is if it's already saved in my contacts, if it's in my contacts then my default phone app does good in that area. Don't bother with this app, it's pointless.

Basic premise is good, but there are fail points. Most every dialer I've used allows me to long-press 1 on the keypad to retrieve voice mail. Not this app. Also, the persistent Clever Dialer notification, besides wasting space, is nothing more than an advertisement… and like flies at a picnic, you can't get rid of it. Good intentions don't indicate a good product.

So far so good. I appreciate the lack of clutter of ads that seem to be the norm for other call blockers I've used. The ads are non-intrusive and the app is user-friendly. Thanks to the app developer that assures users that the app will remain free. I deleted one that started out free and was doing a good job but then started charging a fee out of the blue and then threw in annoying junk to try to force me to opt for its paid version. THX & keep up the good work with this NON-bait & switch app!

Mostly good. Third one I tried that actually worked. blocked numbers can still leave a voicemail. and they still show up on my history! how can i turn both of these off please?? is there also a way to have my number go straight to voicemail instead of ringing? i essentially want the same experience as the basic android call blocking feature. 1. it sends them straight to voicemail and 2. never shows up in my history. almost like it never happened. Thank you!

Doesn't block calls until the number is entered into the block list. That's not really a big deal though. There are two issues: First, even though a call might be blocked from ringing, the "blocked" caller can still leave a voice mail - not sure that qualifies as blocking a number. Second, and even more annoying, is that if I'm on a call and this app blocks another caller, my phone call is always disconnected. Not cool guys, you really need to fix this app.
