It is one of the best dictionaries I have ever used. It helps me anytime and the app menu is really user-frinedly. What I like the most is there are great functions like wildcard search, Smart thesaurus and so on... Truly appreciate this app. Thank you a lot developers...

This is fantastic app, and I appreciate the strenuous effort made by the writers of this dictionary. This huge app of knowledge will prove an invaluable aid to not only for advanced learners but also for intermediate learns of English alike. Here I want to make a suggestion of mine, that important collocations should be bolded brightly in order to avoid any inconvenience, because if they are bolded bright, it will produce great impression on the minds of learners. Thanks.

Their free version is so useless. Unless you buy the premium version, you can't even search most of the words. I was planning to buy the premium version but the price is too insane for a mere dictionary app xP Unless you are willing to invest 20 dollars into this app, don't waste your time.

I am totally disappointed with this app that I bought. It bears the name Cambridge, but the word database is shameful. I found many missing words. How can you have "advanced learning" in the name? I paid by betting that it would help me with my English skills. When I complained to the support application, my response was, "It's not our fault. It's Cambridge's fault."

I use many dictionaries and this one has the best structure to navigate and over see the word especially if it has many definition. It allows to actually browse in the dictionary and you can still see the entries while on the other side you can look at the definition and if one word has many definitions it goes into that entry and you can browse between the different definitions and it also contains guide words to the different definitions to guide you to the one you looking for. Good app.

firstly, very less words is to be used in free version. secondly, it is overpriced for one of app on the phone. i think we can use a lot of alternative dictionaries that are much better than this. one of those is Oxford dictionary with lesser price in commercial version as well as useful

Outstanding Customer Service! Very good app to learn new vocabulary. At the beginning I had a bit server problem with the paid version. I contacted the developer and they got back to me within a day and managed to resolve the issue less than two days. Happy user here 💓

A quite good dictionary app, but in compare with Oxford's app this one has smaller amount of features. For me the most usable and important features are verbs forms with pronunciation and phrasal verbs. I know that Cambridge has a pronunciation dict as a different app and I advice you guys to merge this two apps. It's easier to use one app instead of two.

Can't look up anything without paying. Makes no sense when you can for free on the website. An app makes sense if it's faster and possibly offline but paying to just see definition of words is ridiculous. There are other app alternatives that at least let's you look up "hello" and hear itfs pronounciation for free.

While looking up words, phrases, idioms and phrasal verbs in this dictionary,I feel like dating with a beautiful girl and therefore it increases my enthusiasm to read a lot.Features are not simply but unusually awesome since it makes your looking up,especially phrases, phrasal verbs, idioms, easy without wasting your invaluable time.

I used several dictionaries and tested several premium options before landing on this one. I think it is really good. It includes both dictionary and thesaurus, has wide range of words and works. Without any adds, any prompts, etc. I strongly recommend it!

This is the best dictionary available in the app store. The definitions are clear and easy to understand, there are many collocations and example sentences, and last but not least there's audio included, so you can listen to the pronunciation in both BE and AE. This dictionary is simply a must for learners of English.

Only a few sample definitions are included until you pay £13 in-app for the dictionary. I would have gladly bought it if it were as good as the Cambridge advanced learner's dictionary printed 3rd edition, but some of the sample definitions I checked, whilst accurate, were shorter and less helpful than the printed edition.

This App gives you the impression that it's free but it's not. You only get few selection of words and you need to pay £13 for the full version. I bought it before on my iPhone and when I upgraded my iphone, I couldn't access the dictionary anymore cause it wasnt updated and instead I was asked to purchase the "new version" because the older one wasnt supported. ITS A FRIGGIN DICTIONARY NOT A FIFA OR CALL OF DUTY GAME!

It may be a good dictionary if you make a purchase and given access to the full definition or features. There is no point to download unless your make a purchase; out of 3 words I searched, only 1 result found and it was not in full definition. If you're looking for a real FREE DICTIONARY - This is just not the one.

This is one of the best android dictionaries I've ever seen. The content is just amazing. I love the flashcard idea, but it is not spaced repetition software(i.e. ANKI). If you can add this feature into this amazing dictionary. It will be a big selling point and help others learn English much faster and easier. Thank you

I can not find many words here. For example I have searched today for the word "agonistic" and couldn't find anything. I think this app is just rubbish, you can find more accurate result on the free version ofany other apps

Well there are plenty of good features in the premium version of this dictionary. First of all let me mention although you can use the complete free version of it through its website, for mobile version you have to pay...This dictionary provides words with both British and American accents, and also it is compiled with CEFR Level (A1 to C2) of words. Furthermore the definitions are clear and easy to understand. But they did not include all words from their free online version (maybe in future)

This application is a complete misrepresentation. I paid the full price only to find out it is not an "Advanced Learner's" dictionary. It is missing far too many words you would find in other advanced learner's dictionaries such as the Longman or Oxford. On the linguistic front, there are many errors in definitions that it can be said that their 3rd edition was a much better product. The interface is looks rudimentary and the flash cards aren't anything to shout about. Overall, I would not recommend this product as it fails on the primary purpose which is to be able to provide a good definition of words and to have words one would consider necessary for an advanced learner. WARNING: As the product is purchased via in-app selection, you may not be able to get a refund even if you request for a refund within the two-hour window as per the Play store policy. Keeping my fingers crossed!

This trial app doesn't give any glimpse of full fledged functionality (at least for a few words). Hence it sounds incomplete and inferior in comparison to Oxford dictionary app (OALD). Does it have audio feature for example sentences readout (OALD has)? Without this information and visibility, it's not possible for me to proceed with the purchase of premium version.
