The app works brilliant. Had some issues with the background functionality but thanks of the Camsam support team I have solved the problem on my device. Thanks of them I have avoided plenty of speeding tickets driving across the Europe. I recommend to all drivers to download the premium one as it contains more useful options and it's very cheap to buy.

Overall very good but there have been a few cameras it hasn't had. I think Waze is better but I love how this gives you an audible alert even when below the limit, and also tells you how far to the nearest camera based on the direction of travel. It'd be good if there was a way to manually check your camera database was up to date though.

Had to purchase a second time when I changed phones and in the last few months the app loses location, until I bring it to the forefront, when running behind my google maps. This NEVER was an issue before. Have checked my power saving modes etc but That's not the issue as far as i have found... Also within the app certain sections are in not in English, which isn't helpful when I have a problem and go to the help section!!

Gets better with every update, it just needs a app auto close and display the current speed limit on the road you're on and it could be perfect

Used to be a great app, but recently it has started to interfere with my bluetooth connected phone calls as I approach a speed camera, the call is removed from the car or headset speaker and reverts to the phone handset speaker, regardless of what app settings I use. I have to reconnect to Bluetooth to get the call back. Still waiting for the supposed update to solve the issue!!! August 13th and still not working, even changed phones!

Can you make it work with android auto? Google now allows apps on android auto. Please update your app. Is there any help or explanation of different options? I want warning only right before camera and not warnings a kilometer before actual camera location? How to turn it off?

Bought this some years ago but only recently pressed into service again and have to say it works for me exactly as advertised. The only thing I would like to clarify is (apologies is answered previously) whether there I'm missing something and whether it is possible to reduce the number of audible alerts to just one? I appreciate the function of the three alerts and how these correspond to the distance of the camera, but for me it's somewhat distracting, would rather just receive a single 'tone'

There is no way of telling the speed limit of the road you are travelling on. Doesn't locate many other warnings, except fixed speed cameras. The widget only displays in landscape mode on android 12. Impossible to close the app fully. The reminder notification shows but when you press on it it just restarts the app. Extremely annoying as it has the potential to be much better. No audio issues

I've been loving this app for a long time. At the moment it doesn't seem to autolaunch anymore using Android Q beta 3, i hope that the app will still work properly in widget mode when Q will be released. It would be great to be able to change the audio alerts, and perhaps to have the option of having a single warning beep rather than multiple alerts as you approach a camera. thanks!

I use this app from years, and I recommended it many times to my friends. The alert can be improved regarding two aspects: 1) length, as it plays too soon and too many times (it would be great to be able to customise it), and the alert on my swartwatch, which now works only for signal loss or disconnection, when in fact I'd use it for the alert itself.

I love this app, it doesn't use much mobile data like Waze does and it has a great widget functionality. It runs in the background and when there is a warning it will appear on the screen. I tested it in Germany and Switzerland and it knows 98% of all speed cameras, which is great. The only downside is that you cannot disable the warning "No GPS, searching for satellites". I live in an area with lots of tunnels and I have to listen to this sentence 20 times a day, which is very annoying.

Only one thing missing - Android Auto :) Please integrate this technology in to the App. Speedometer data is new in Germany and surrounding countries. Unfortunately, the information in further countries is old, e.g. In Lithuania

Been trying it for the past weeks and for those cameras that it's able to detect it gives you fair amount of warnings. It's been able to detect about 100% of red light cameras and 90% of speed cameras on my way. I've not been able to find out a way to report cameras and not even sure of that's possible in the US.

Brilliant. After google ruined waze, CamSam is my new driving buddy, with better features than waze. I particularly like the autostart and stop options. With that setup my phone auto launches CamSam Plus when I start the car engine. No need to remember to open the app.

Not great at all. Didn't even notify me of a stationary speed camera in Exeter in Marsh Barton untill I went past it and was stuck at traffic lights then it warns me. Useless. Wasn't impressed. Think Google maps would have given me more of heads up then that and it's free!!!
