The Capitol app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send messages to its users. It is essential to secure transactions with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) using in-app notifications. To do so, it sends a previously generated anonymous Firebase Installation ID (FID) to Google so that we can identify app users and send them messages related to SCA purposes. The installation ID is stored on your device’s keychain secure place as strictly necessary to provide the services, and is removed when the app is uninstalled. In addition to the mandatory SCA notifications, the FID will also be used as strictly necessary for optional notifications you may ask for within the app. Information on the functionality of Cloud Messaging is available under https://firebase.google.com/products/cloud-messaging/.

Worst customer service ever i experienced with a bank. There is no prompt response from the complaint team even after multiple queries and i want the concerend authorites to know. Posting here is the only way!!!!!!!

Basic functionality. Times out after 30 seconds. Followed all the instructions to activate my card and set up the app with the necessary codes, but it continues to refuse transactions. Sent a message to customer service. Waiting for a response.

The app and the card it is supposed to manage are very unreliable. Payments to trusted merchant from which I habitually shop get denied and have to go to stupid hoops to approve them every time I try to buy something. In one instance the card just decided to lock itself while I was traveling. I understand it is a free card but man this is a below subpar experience.
