How to Play
- 29 is played by four players in teams of 2, partners facing each other.
- A Short Deck of 32 cards from a standard 52-card pack are used for play.
- There are eight cards in each of the usual "French" suits: hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades.
- The cards in every suit rank from high to low: J-9-A-10-K-Q-8-7.
The aim of the game is to win tricks containing valuable cards.
The values of the cards are:
Jacks - 3 points each
Nines - 2 points each
Aces - 1 point each
Tens - 1 point each
Other cards (K, Q, 8, 7) no points
This gives a total of 28 points for cards. In some versions of the game, the last trick is worth an extra card point, for a total of 29: this total explains the name of the game. Most players nowadays do not count the point for the last trick, but the name of the game is still 29, even when playing this version with only 28 points.
Traditionally, the Twos, Threes Fours and Fives discarded from the full 52-card pack are used as trump indicators: each player takes a set of these cards, one of each suit. The Sixes are used to keep score: each partnership uses one red and one black Six for this purpose.

Not a game to play with friends. It should have an option to play with 1-3 friends. Currently if you have 4 friends online then only you can play or get out any play online. There must be an option if there is less than 4 friends then rest of the place can be filled with random players seeking to play. This way it would be more fun.

probably the best 29 card game in terms of online multiplayer facility but, still the cards interface is kind of indecent. The classic card design would be a great option. Besides, the sequence of colour should be one by one like red-black-red-black so that, it could help distinguish between different cards of same colours. We hope the developer will consider these simple things & provide us a decent eye catching version in their very next update as we are looking forward to it. Thanks :)

I am writing this review after playing almost 3 months. I started playing from the phase when I was unable to play with random online players unless someone of my friends came online. It got fixed with an update and am enjoying the game. But recently I am seeing a HUGE SCAM. Proper amount of coins are not getting added once I win. After the win , the coins are getting added but when the next game is about to start , extra coins apart from the coins needed for the game are getting deducted.SCAM

Lot of improvements needed 1)One should have the option of banning players 2) While hosting a friendly match, options should be there to include random players as well. It's a drawback that only people in the friends list can be asked to join. 3) Single hand option should be given to everyone and not just to the one who wins the bid. 4) Friendly chat should be incorporated outside the match. 5) Option to add friends from random players should be incorporated as well.

Good game though it would be better if we can add just one of my friends and play with other opponents..Adding 3 friends is difficult for me so if they could add friends pair instead of quadraple should be a decent improvement..Gameplay and looks is good though some of the players to be honest are real noobs. Plus a recent glitch I have noticed is the game continues even if the ones who have not won the bid doesn't get a single trump card..The game should be null and void in that scenario..

1. Reconnecting problem 2. sometimes shows wrong trump card 3. marriage doesn't apply at all at certain times 4. Friends can not play with random people that's ridiculous. I can't team up with my friend to play with online people! 5. Something wrong with it's algorithms? For example even though I have the last 2 trump cards in last 2 takes, the game just makes me lose! I am getting last 2 decks total 8 cards and you are telling me I can't get 5 points? Ridiculous. easy play and good graphics.

29 is a intersting game for adults. But in this game app full of cheat. When you got so many coins then this game never give you good card to play. At last you have no option without paying real money in this game app. I'm requested to developer team of this game, please don't cheat with people. And one more thing, if you want to earn coins with showing ad in this game, not a single ad run in 60 second to earn coins.

Game not tested properly. Most of the time when playing, screen reconnecting appear and then game not found. Lost my lots of coins. It should find the game when internet connection get some issue. In the time of win it appear more. I need my coins back.

Game is good, but you need to add one special feature ie. one can opt to never play with certain users... Because there are some guys who pass hints while playing which is just not acceptable.. So at least there should be an option to block such users for future games.. It's really annoying to play again with such guys.

Most of the time my coins are debited wrongly from my account, and it has been happening several times with me. Issue is as follows -- 1. Wining coins when added to the existing, there is a mismatch in addition. 2. Sometimes joining fee of a game is 1.5K Coins but while I joined Higher value deducted 3. I closed app with a certain amount of coins but when come back again less coins are present in the balance. This happens to me many times and now it is happening almost regularly, if th

Game has lot of potential but there are some issues, which is very annoying. The developers don't care about that. Its easily fixable. I have 50mbps internet connection and it always reconnect and my money is gone. Its seems they just want you to lose money so you have to watch ad.

Overall experience has been great, smooth usee interface and great graphics. Only problem if I want to play with one of my friend, we have to wait for at least two games. Always starts with room is full, then one game of spectating. And once we come together as well, it keeps shifting, some time we are together and some time we are against each other. Is it something that you guys can sort out?

The biggest problem is it shows reconnecting issues in the middle of a game. And when it's back, the game is already on and some imaginary person plays on my behalf I guess. This happens even in the middle of choosing a trump, such that when I am being directed back to the game, I have no clue what the Trump is even when I have supposedly chosen it. It's very frustrating that way.

Conceptually nice but needs urgent and constant attention for fixing the bugs. Automatically colour of the game changes, I throw different card but in a second it changes to another one by system. Points are being taken by system . It was 21k when I joined the random game it became 14k where the collection was of 1.5k . Large way to go . Not happy.

Should have options to choose coins before joining tables. You never know the amount of coins for your table stakes unless you start a game. Developer should fix connectivity issues. The other day while I was choosing trump card it popped up on screen with a 'reconnecting' message and when I was back in the game I found that it wasn't the suit I chose for trump. Too bad.

The algorithm is not at all good! The high level player always gets good cards! It is biased. Also there is no way to find out if your partner has selected trump via seventh card. The experience is not good at all. Apart from the online multiplayer feature, it has nothing good about it! The total points are 29 which is illogical. Even if the opponent does not have any trump, the game goes on. If you don't know the game first hand, then how can you launch an online version of it! Pathetic!

The game is good but for friends match it should not limit to start the match only when there are 4 people in the room. 1. Game should allow the host to start the match even if there are less members in room and add others when the game starts. 2. Another issue is even if we have good connectivity, it shows network problem for almost every match. Thanks

The game is interesting, but when playing with friends the coin selection for the room is random and not the amount you selected. also I believe there is server issues as the game is reconnecting most of the time and when the game is dropped, you lose all the coins.. which is frustrating.. once these frustrating bits are sorted, its a good game

The best out there, UI is good, no lagging issues, no glitches. Talking about the rules of the game, there are certain changes like the game continues even when the opponent team is trumpless. Pair doesn't apply sometimes. If trump has been set as the '7th' card, other players should know about that which is missing. There are several other small alterations but I feel they are acceptable.

Game is decent but there are high priority bugs that need immediate attention. The most important one being unable to connect with friends for friendly match - the Facebook login isn't working, Google login doesn't allow us to add friends. There should at least be an in-game option to add friends (through invite links/ codes etc.) if the above doesn't work, because the actual essence of the game is playing with friends Will reconsider installing the game if the above main issue is addressed.
