Extremely pleasant and very open communicative company. I installed this to use as a cheaper alternative to the regular rideshares and was not disappointed. Not only did I get a great ride but the company even called to ask if it was ok that the driver would be a bit late. The driver was very accommodating and opened the door for me. The trip was great also. Please know that this is an honest review but I am being compensated $10 for it.

I wouldn't use this service. It was recommended by my brother. The first car was supposed to meet my parents at the airport. It was over an hour late and they just sent an Uber instead. The second car was so late I had to cancel it or miss my flight. The third driver was late and I was concerned he was night blind. It was the most dangerous car ride I've ever experienced. When I called customer service they kept saying they would call back but they never did. I would avoid this service.

Easy to use and have all records in one place. Now, I use the app for my reservation, getting my driver info and payment. What I like the most apart from simplicity is that if I have cash cash (discount) with Carmel from their promotion, the credit will be automatically applied to my payment. Note this is my review but I am awarded $10 car cash from Carmel for sharing it.

Another unsuccessful booking attempt today with a coupon. Tried to book a car in advance. Manhattan location. To jersey city. Impossible. Tried again. Very difficult. Could not add a discount. So had to do it on line laptop. And how do i change the tip feature. Overall a bad app. For a good service

This is my review but I am awarded $10 Car cash from Carmel for sharing it. The app makes ordering cars simple. it would be nice if it included an option for travelling with pets since I only leaned that a minivan needs to be booked (even for small dogs) when i called to inquire. Also, there is no option in the app for pickup inside the airport for help with luggage or for other special requests.

Carmel is fantastic. I tell all my friends this is the car service to use always. Never a problem, always pleasant, a perfect start and finish to your trip. App is now very good, and easy to use. Any problems can be easily solved by calling their very helpful operators who bend over backwards to help. Their website is super. Carmel gave me $10 Carmel Cash for this review, but I would write them the same review for nothing. It's simply the truth.

Totally unreliable! When you need a car they never come. They say 5 minutes over and over then they cancel! It has happened several times. Even though we had a long standing reservation, no car then they cancel! Awful unreliable service! Also, they pay $10 for 5 star reviews. That's the only way that they would get good reviews!

Traveling during this pandemic is difficult enough, however I felt safe and completely socially distant. We picked up our bags and bybthe time we got to the pick up area our driver was there. The cars looked freshly detailed and sterile with the plastic separator between the driver and ourselves. The price was very affordable and I definitely will be using them next time we fly into NY

Previously I had the Carmel app on an LG G4, where I eventually had to uninstall it as the app repeatedly would crash in the background and drain the battery. Unfortunately with a brand new Note 9 I decided to try installing it again. The app almost immediately hung upon opening and then froze my phone. I wasn't able to exit the app after an attempt at uninstalling, or even able to switch between other apps, and was forced to restart to get my phone working again. Stick with the website.

I requested a pick-up in 6 minutes (an option they gave me). The app bounced me through three cars. And twenty minutes later my assigned car was still more than 10 minutes away. I had to take a cab or be late to a Doctor's appointment. When I canceled, they still charged me half of the fair. When I went to customer service, they offered me a $6 coupon. I don't think that would take me 2 blocks in Manhattan.

The app is easy to use and Carmel is the car service I use to go from LaGuardia into Manhattan. They're relatively quick in arriving and I almost always have a quick trip into or out of the city. The cost is better than Uber or Lyft and I get a car to myself! This is my review and it was not influenced by the $10 in Google money I received.

This rating is for the app and not for the car service, although the car service is also top notch. A friend recommended their car service and when I went on the website I saw that they had an app. It loaded onto my cell phone very quickly and when I opened it I was able to book my ride in moments. The app works smoothly and I also got a discount on my ride because I used the app instead of booking over the phone. "This is my review but I am awarded $10 Car cash from Carmel for sharing it"

I have used Carmel for years. In the "olden days" I always complained about having to call and wait on hold when I arrived at the airport or that paying my bill could be a hassle at the airport if they couldn't get a connection. With the Carmel app I just click "I am here" when I arrive and pay in the app while enroute to the airport. It couldn't be easier!

If you're frustrated with surge pricing, or the lack of yellow cabs out there, but love the ease of getting a ride by app, give these folks a try. It's just as easy to set a ride, the pricing is up front and fair and you can schedule in advance. They'll take you anywhere too! I went from NYC to Westchester with less stress than a rental, and way less cost than a certain ride app at peak. Driver was nice too. FYI, this is my review, but I am awarded $10 car cash from Carmel for sharing it.

We have been very happy with the car service, never a complaint. The mobile app, on the other hand is a disaster. It is one of the most poorly designed app I've ever downloaded; not intuitive at all and very cumbersome to use. They need to hire a professional to design a new app, I imagine some people have just given up and gone with another limo company...

Great experience so far just wish there was an ability to be able to change change pick up time yourself when airlines cancel or delay flights so you are not billed for canceling the trip. I called to have the time of my pick-up changed and it was pretty easy but if I didn't think about calling and wanted to just change the time through the app, there wasn't an option. The only option was to cancel but your card would still be billed. My driver was on time, courteous and a safe driver.

Needed an early morning ride the airport and when all else failed, Uber, Taxi companies etc... I found this company on Google and was very surprised. My driver Anthony showed up 10 minutes early and was pleasant and mannerable the entire time and even offered to carry my bags into the airport for me. Nicely dressed, very professional, the car was nice and in good condition. It was just an above all great experience. Would definitely recommend !!! Definitely worth the price !!!

This app and the service provided through it are exceptional. I have been using Carmel for over twenty years for I town travel and to the airports. There has never been an issue with the service. Their drivers are prompt, the cars are clean, and most importantly, I always know exactly what I am paying before I get in a car. No surprise uptick in fares, no cancelations. They have no competition, only wannabe companies trying to get a slice of the pie.

BEWARE! Unreliable operation. Not only was a car not assigned when I booked hours in advance via the app, but when I phoned the call center I was assured a car would arrive in 5-7 minutes. When it didn't show, I called a second time and was advised that wait times were 20-30 mins. However, when pressed on that, the operator admitted they didn't actually know when they'd be able to confirm a car. All at 11pm+! I rarely write negative reviews, but dealing with this group is a security risk.

I've used Carmel multiple times in NYC, and even once in Seattle. The pickups and dropoffs are smooth, the drivers professional, and the prices are similar to (if not a bit better than) Uber/Lyft. Additionally, they've transported us with our dogs - something that not every service does. I plan to continue to use Carmel. The app itself is easy to use, and the pickup options are shockingly fast. This is my review but I will be awarded $10 in Car cash from Carmel for sharing it.
