It does not automatically reconnect to WIFI. When you try to find a show in the evening you have to scroll through all whole lot of activities that are already over. When creating a chat with a list of people it didn't always work right away but would eventually work. The data displayed in the app needs to update in real time with no need to refresh it.

The app had some useful features, we liked the events section where you could see all upcoming events and heart them to add to your planner. The $5.00 chat option was nice to have but glitchy, mostly because the notifications didn't work most of the time. Also, the maps section was useful but could be improved with a zoom in/out function.A moving "you are here" dot would be helpful too.

The App provided most of the information that we needed, but occasionally, we had to search more in-depth to find an answer. Also, there was a "glitch" that confused us regarding dinner reservations. Fortunately, the staff was aware of it and said to ignore it. One challenge for me were the menu pages. Perhaps, it was just my phone, bit I had a difficult time viewing the 2nd and/or 3rd pages for some restaurants. Overall, however, the Carniva HUB kept me updated and I felt confident about usi

I like it for the text plan. I like it for scheduling events. I like it because it always keeps the ship's time when crossing time zones. I like it for viewing photos taken by staff. It's a great way to keep track of how much you lose in the casino. It's even a much smoother way to check in for dinner. The only thing that I do not like about it is the menus. Fortunately, they bring me a paper menu with no problem. 5 STAR ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The app works very well on the android platform. The connectivity could use a little tweaking and if the dinner menu was available each night that would be cool too. It definitely made communication between cabin mates and friends aboard much easier. UPDATE: Not sure what happened between 2017 and now but this app has been destroyed. Connection drops all over the ship, and it's constantly crashing.

It was a bit slow and took some of our group's phones awhile to set it up. The text messages sometimes didn't come thru or came thru later on. Wasn't helpful if there was an urgent reply needed. We did like the idea of it for sure and the pricing. Feel as though it should be a complimentary application availableto all guests though.

Worked for the most part! I really like that when you favorite an activity, you get notifications for them in advance with the details.. so even if the app has a hard time loading, you still have details! Downside is online menus in the dining areas. Mine would almost never load or pull up, and I always had to use a friend's phone. Otherwise great experience using it to make the cruise 120% worth it!

Loved the app! It kept me up to date on daily activities, and I loved that it allowed me to add ones I was interested in to my planner, which also sent me notifications to remind me of the event. It also allows you to view which bars and restaurants were open. It allows you to view menus as well. It helped make my first cruise a memorable one!

The Hub, itself, is a great app. It is easy to navigate and helps you see what events are happening or coming up around the ship. You can see what's open for dining, view the ship's map, available excursions, your account summary...seemingly endless. The Chat feature is sub par. You pay 5 dollars to have access to texting others in your party without having wifi. The chat feature needs an update. It seems to be limited on when it works, and messages don't go through or are extremely delayed

This app is most useful while on the ship on your cruise. It was nice being able to see and get reminders for activities you wanted to go to. Checking in for dining was good because the table would be ready for you and you didn't have to wait in line for a table. The only thing I didn't like was the app would not stay connected or Auto connect. I had to manually reconnect multiple times during the day.

For the most part, this app is BBAADD. I went on my first cruise ever, and being new, I received word that with a much money as I spent ( several thousands of dollars) I still had to pay for a wifi package $65.00 a day if I want to stay fully connected ( couldn't buy it) only glimmer of hope was the tip that the app could fully function even without wifi, no it can't. But it kind of can, found out last minute, turn on air plane mode, leave it on, then turn on your wifi. Now the app will work.

The app works well for the most part. Could use some tweaking as we experienced connectivity issues on the last sea day when we were not far off the Florida coast gently coming into Port Canaveral, hence the 4 star rating. We all have Android phones with the exception of an extra iPhone and it didn't seem to matter which platform, there were connectivity issues all around. We used the Hub app for the Chat Function, What's Happening, Food Reservations, Account Summary, and Casino Tracking.

Purchased chat, and not all messages went through. I was told I never replied, but I did. On comparing messages they showed on mine but not the person I messaged. I did like learning about activities, menus, and photos. It would have been nice to get changes of schedules in the app. Ex. A movie was delayed, and notifications through the app could have helped. Overall helpful app with some glitches

It was a great app to use! You can see what's scheduled, what you chose as a favorite on your schedule to personalize your cruise experience, you can see what the kids are doing in camps and you can see a map of the entire ship so you know what's happening on each deck. You even can see what's on the menu with certain restaurants!! My only gripe is sometimes the app got stuck on the day AFTER. Yes so this was confusing at times. But I just closed the app, swiped it away and restarted it.

It worked pretty well, but I did have to reconnect to the internet several times a day for it to work. I, and everyone else in my party, had periodical spouts of the app not working at all for a while, but thankfully it would seemingly alternate, and we always had one person that could access the app. I really appreciated that you could view weather in the app though, and I liked being able to say I was interested in events and get notifications before them, and see what my party had marked.

80%helpful while going about cruising. I bought a Value pack internet because I need it to teach online. When I switch device, the other device kicks me out of the hub, I have to remember how to connect without switching devices again for the moment. Also, when booking a table for dinner, there should be an option for preference if we want to be served by a favorite serving team or we prefer Vista 3rd deck or 4th...I have some difficulty going up and down the stairs. Thank you.

Super helpful! However, I lost connectivity a lot. This is likely because being in the water makes it difficult, but when the technology is there I would consider upgrading it. Also adding a room service menu, ability to send pics through the chat function. Maybe also adding wait times for some of the restaurants if possible. It would add work but improve the experience.

I'm not sure if it was the app itself or the ship's wifi (Valor) but it was constantly dropping the connection. It made it very inconvenient when trying to reserve a table for dinner. Also, a nice feature to add at some point would be to add a NOTES section where you could add the names of outstanding employees, events or excursions so you could easily reference back when filling out surveys and feedback.

I enjoyed being able to text the people traveling in my group, my planner, and being able to check in at the restaurants. The open times shown on the app were not always correct, but that probably wasn't an app problem. There were some functions that did not work. For example, the available excursions would never load on my phone. I would love an alert for the text messages and a GPS for directionally challenged people like myself.

App was so useful the entire cruise. You can see the restaurants, ship maps, open times, shows and events, etc. The app has everything you need. My main complaint is that it was totally unresponsive on disembarkation day. Carnival highly encourages you to digitally check out on the app, but due to the high number of people using it, we never got notification when it was our time to go to the gangway. This is really a bandwidth problem, but it created a lot of chaos and confusion for everyone.
