I love the concept of the app. Being able to have a live wallpaper of my location is so cool! The battery impact is minimal (maybe 3-5%) and updates within a couple of minutes of getting to a new location. My one suggestion us being able to customize the colors beyond the pre-defined themes.

No update as I change location. UI is a convoluted mess. Example, try to navigate subdirectory under "roads" without swiping across color wheel and choosing a color you didn't want. Will the color you choose look good?Without a sample preview that represents all the ccatgories you'll just have to guess. And if you want to edit any colors in a saved style you've created good luck figuring out what those colors are since they will all be grey. Piece of junk app, not worth effort, don't download.

Very nice implementation of Google Maps. Plenty of themes to choose from. Easy to navigate around the app for any level Android user. The live wallpaper is a very welcome addition & one I've been waiting for. I feel the feature set is complete. A very good app in all & worth the purchase for anyone the enjoys theming their degice. Well done!

I really like the map! It's been such a pleasure to have the same wallpaper yet different when I travel! Thank you for the awesome application. I don't know if this is possible or anything of the like. I think it would be so cool to have the 3D terrain like Google Earth. I believe that you're already using Google Maps or Google Earth to provide the satellite images. Anyhow, whether that gets added or not it's still a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ application! Prost!

I love the idea, and it seems to work exactly as advertised. Alas, I find the results so busy that it makes it harder for me to find controls I want to hit --- like to launch apps. This might be because of my chosen launcher, Search based launcher, which pretty much uses the home screen in its entirety.

Love this app. It's simple with very few settings to worry about, and makes a lovely backdrop for my amoled display. My only gripe is with the live wallpaper version, when one has the location dot enabled, one can't offset the center position of one's location on the screen to make room for other widgets or apps. This means that if one intends to have a widget or app in the center of their screen (fairly common) , one's location is sadly obscured in the live wallpaper.

It's beautiful when it works. The issue is that the UI is very obtrusive and in my way of things, especially the notifications that things have been updated when I make a change. The other things are that often when I change the live wallpaper, it will glitch out and the preview(where you adjust the settings) is empty. This happens for both light and dark mode options under the live wallpaper button. The last thing is that sometimes my changes don't update, like when I change the zoom size.

Great app, only complaint is how confusing and unintuitive the UI is. I only open this app every few months to change my design and to keep things fresh, but I have to relearn how to navigate the clunky menus. A lot of nonsensical design choices, notably how the settings menu isn't even actually a settings menu and just has mostly social links. It could be better, but it is functional overall so that's all that really matters!

Love the look and feel of the wallpapers. Figuring out how to set live wallpaper isn't super intuitive at first but not bad once you figure it out.... However, I've selected random locations with a time switch of one hour and the app has changed it to the "change on every open" setting multiple times. How do I get it to remain on an hourly interval? Looks great though!

I like the concept and the color options are cool. It works great as a static map. My deduction in stars comes for the "live" part. I really don't understand how this works. It's not intuitive to me at all. Do I do this purely within the app, or go somewhere else to set it? The app appears as a choice under the regular Android live wallpaper interface but when I choose it I don't get the color options I chose in the app. So the "live" part is unclear and more detailed instructions would help.

I really like it, but one thing. Please let us be able to remove the state lines! I like the look of being able to highlight the roads and the terrain around me, but because I live close to the border of my state, the large red line shows up right on the edge of my screen, throwing off the symmetry and making for an eyesore. Overall I'm happy to have this app and it's really awesome otherwise!

Fantastic concept and I love the minimal elegant app. I got some interest effects by zooming and tilting the map to review 3D buildings. One minor issue I've noticed: When you zoom in close the overlay doesn't apply to buildings with multiple floorplans (like train stations and department stores). It would be great if this could be fixed. Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing the app grow!

Excellent (live) wallpaper service. There's some features I'd like to have though. First, I'd like the option for the live wallpaper to follow the light and dark system themes and change between them along with the rest of the phone. Second, I think the live wallpaper could be crisper, the tag text appears blurry as do some of the thinner road lines. Lastly, if you could add a topography layer (preferably the old school contour lines) I'd consider this app perfect. Thanks for the great app!!

Love the app but I think it needs to be revamped to be easier to use, still having a tough time figuring out how to customize things like the road colors, label colors and etc. seems like when I make a change it doesn't work so a bit confused there. Otherwise I like that you can have a live wallpaper of your location at all times. One cool suggestion would be to be able to click a landmark on the live wallpaper to open it in Google maps automatically, that would be awesome!

Great app, really clever idea. The wallpaper is based on the map of your current location and gives you lots of color options for filtering/editing. Would love to be able to move the map before saving it and/or be able to search for locations, so I can get wallpaper for London, NYC, or whatever. Randomness options like enable/disable palettes, rotate between these cities/maps every x minutes, etc. - especially for live wallpaper - would be great! EDIT: thanks devs, I didn't see those features 👍

This worked pretty well for me on my S21 using Nova launcher. Made a nice custom map and looked very sleek as my background. Well..I woke up this morning to a stock Samsung background back on my home screen. And when I opened the app to re-add my custom background map, it was gone. It's unfortunate because I loved the map. I just do not have the time or patience to calibrate all the settings again.

I love this app. It's exactly what I'd want in a wallpaper. However, right now it is basically unusable. If I use the cartogram app to set the wallpaper, the wallpaper disappears as soon as I close the app (clear my recent apps) or restart my phone. If I select Cartogram through the wallpaper selection settings in Nova Launcher, settings do not update. Specifically, I set the wallpaper to change locations every hour, but it will only show my current location.

For me, 4.7/4.8 rating app for live wallpaper apps. Been using this for years. Still amaze me somehow. Well, nothing was perfect, as personally did encounter an error with the location dot color, it always remain blue when whatever other favorite color I choose. Minor issue but could be pretty annoying as I try all possible way to make it even better. Uninstall and reinstall. Still nothing fix. Anyhow, will recommend this app to anybody who want unique live wallpaper. Cartogram deserves it!

Edit: sadly have encountered some bugs lately. It keeps changing my lock screen wallpaper to my phone's default in the middle of the night. Is there a fix for this? Very charming, probably my favorite wallpaper since my first smartphone. My one gripe is that the stationary image looks better than the live wallpaper. Would love it if there was a 'detail' slider to turn down some of the side streets at a further zoom setting.

Great idea, not great execution. Seems to have several bugs. Can't set lock screen and home screen separatly even though it's an option. Map often doesn't update for hours. Sometimes completely crashes and you have to restart the phone and then reset your wallpaper. The map editor is difficult to tell what edits what and the color pickers don't sync between each other and there isn't a way to see and edit the current color of something. Would love to use it, but not realistic currently.
