After they merged with door dash. The app is now horrendous to use. The ui is super clunky and you can no longer navigate and sort through restaurants as easily. The new account system is awful and requires too many additional steps. I tried using it a few times after the merge and it's just a hassle to use compared to the old app. The new ui also messes up a lot of the menus with items missing or repeated entries.

Immediately unusable upon downloading. App greets u with "hiii" that seems to be a never-ending loading screen with no indication of actually loading. Eventually (after maybe 2 hours) a search bar appears. Suggestions will come up when typing in types of food, but none are selectable and nothing actually loads. I can see why I randomly got a voucher to use the app in the mail, as it seems that because of the app's lack of actual functionality may have trouble keeping people using it consistently

The one good thing, is they have some good places on here. With my last order, the food was ready at the restraunt in minutes, but the dilivery time was moved back over and over again to more than an hour. When I tried to contact the company through their chat feature, it said they had no available agents and that there were too many other people messaging...at midnight PST on a Tuesday. Also, this app is expensive, even for a delivery app. Still haven't heard back from customer service.

Sending the link to get the $20 offer is a scam. Lets the recipient know this by placing a tiny disclaimer which disappears in less then a second. The recipient signs up, but no notification is send to the sender informing them that the deal no longer exists. This is deliberate, as they have gone through the trouble to place this disclaimer for the recipient rather than simply deleting the offer. The app is also less functional than all other food delivery apps.

The experience is smooth compared to some of the other apps and I know what is happening to my order . My issue is knowing which restaurants are open versus not. Also when I tried to schedule early (which was offered) it didn't work. Not sure why. However I enjoy the online experience with them. Hope they will add more restaurants soon.

They really need a map function or something. They keep recommending restaurants that's miles away and is warm or soggy by the time it gets to me. Do you want to a eat burger that's five miles away? And there's no way to see where restaurants are until after you order. I usually have to reverse engineer restaurants from google maps. Everything else is fine but this is a nuisance.

I tried giving this service a shot, but it is truly the worst. Deliveries are consistently about an hour late after the order is picked up from the restaurant and food arrives cold. I've tried to contact support and provide feedback and it always goes ignored. There's also a service fee with every order and you cannot adjust the tip depending on the courier. What a waste, go with any of the other delivery services out there.

While the food options are great, Caviar consistently features restaurants for you to order from, lets you order, and then 40 minutes into waiting for your food will call you and tell you that the restaurant is either closed or they've canceled your order for some reason. I've had this happen five times (all from different restaurants). It's gotten to the point where this service is so unreliable that regardless of their good food options that I won't be using them anymore.

I just started using the app. And there are times that there is no choose the selection button on the screen. I believe you would have a lot more customers if we could rely on selecting an order smoothly. I know everybody's doing the best they can. But every time a new system is implemented from software to hardware and everything in between, it slows down the process for businesses to rely on caviar. Us customers would love to keep supporting the businesses that are opening during covid-19

Great Food, BS Promotions I've been using this app for months and... They have a great selection of restaurants, but they offer a lot of promotions that they fail to follow up on. $20 referral credit is almost never applied to my account without having to jump through hoops with customer service. They have a lot of restrictions for every promo they offer, they're just made to sound enticing so you fill up your cart, but they rarely work. Their delivery takes pretty long, typically over 40 mins

Fees on this app are horrendous. Much more than other apps. I'm the type of person who likes to put a specific amount of tip so I can get the total to a round number. But not on this app. Not allowed to put a decimal for "other" tips. But when I use their 10%-15%-18% they can. Further more I sent a referral code to a family member to use and get $10 off. They opened the app and as they were about to check the $10 off showed up and the app crashed when they reopened the app. The $10 off was gone

This used to be the premium delivery app. Like all apps they start out great and then devolve. Service fees are extravagant and I stopped using the service. You didn't need to ruin the product with this because you didn't have them before. Also the search and filter functions are pretty poor. I should be able to pull up favorites and then also block restaurants from showing up so I can scroll through faster when browsing. I ordered today and the order was 20 minutes late and the food cold. 🤬

This app has lost more orders than any other food delivery app. Final straw was that they just lost two orders in a row. They marked both as complete without calling (as I put in my instructions), or sending a picture of where they put it. They delivered here, too, so it's not that the address was put in wrong. On the last one I watched the order status screen and saw the driver drive off in the opposite direction. 2 stars because getting refunds is easy at least.

I haven't experienced consistent, good service from this app in the year, or so, since I first installed it. There are times when the app stalls when contacting support--which has had to occur far too frequently over the last year! Couriers can be (I've been told) hard to assign to pick up/ deliver orders. What gives?? I may have to uninstall this soon.

I miss the pre-doordash caviar app. I miss sorting restaurants by distance from me. I miss being able to pick which location of the restaurant to order from. I miss having an order status that is up to date and doesn't require me to leave the app open for a few minutes to find out my order is already on its way and the driver is a block away.

A short app review: the app is simple, but the buttons are in weird places if you're used to the UI of other food ordering apps like GrubHub. The service review: excellent! Yes, it's more curated, and that means a smaller list of places to order from, but they're all high-quality restaurants. EDIT: Ever since this app was bought out by Doordash, the entire chain of service has gone down the drain. Bad UI, slow and poor service, no more curation. Skip this app unless you really need it.

I'm based in Boston and this used to be a good service. Then items started going missing on each order. Now it seems every order is 30-90 minutes late and every second order will have missing items or just plain not show up. Caviar refunds for the exact price of missing items but keeps the full service fee and tip. Not to mention what a waste of time it is. I don't care if it's the restaurants forgetting to put in the items or the drivers eating them, but I paid Caviar for a service and they should sort it out.

Service is good but the app itself is terrible on mobile phones. Annual Dashpass pop ups block seeing more than a single line on the checkout process. Double dash feature lands on the screen under the phone navigation controls. Much of the app is poorly formatted for mobile. It's frustrating to use and sometimes I don't order at all because of that.

Update: the app doesn't seem to work at all for me right now trying to order pickup. Orderahead was great so it's pretty disappointing to see it's been totally dismantled and ended Original review: Fastbite advertises meals under $15 but that doesn't include tax, tip, or delivery fee. The quantities are also somewhat small. Update 10/11/20: they sent me a coupon and then wouldn't actually let me use it. Useless service

One of the best food delivery apps through ease of navigation, clarity of the location you're buying from, and menu accuracy. Plus, I love the step-by-step confirmation push notifications so you know your order is received and being made and on its way. Probably the only app that does this? Have only had tiny issues like one instance of poor driver tracking, and one time it wouldn't let me switch between previously saved payment options so I had to add a new one before I could move on.
