This is the worst card ever. If you are thinking about getting this card save yourself the problems. You have to pay your bill thru your bank account or it is a $10 fee to pay over the phone with a debit card. Then they are extremely slow when reporting to the credit Bureaus, It is January 2021 and they have not updated the info on my credit report since Nov 2020. And then to top it all once you pay the bill you have to wait 8 business days for the credit to be released for you to use.

I'm not new to credit cards for building/bad credit having fees and such. This card in general isn't a bad card BUT the ability to pay is. If you pay online/the app you can only use a checking/savings account which takes the money right away but doesn't post to your credit card account for a week. Which doesn't help in case there's an emergency. Or you can call to use a debit card but pay a 5 dollar fee either way not the greatest payment process but not a bad card as in being able to use it.

Great card to rebuild your credit. It is one of few that will let you add your wife or husband. If you pay your bill on time and over the minimum amount due for 6 months they raise your limit. Thats a big +! My only complaint would be not being able to pay your bill through the site with debit card. Even if you call if you want to pay with debit card, they'll charge you 10.00 That's just ridiculous. Especially if you are paying a much larger amount than minimum.

So far everything has been perfect. No problems with the app or usage of the card at all. The only problem I see so far is, there is no information other than who was paid. We can't pull up the transaction to see what exactly is was for. So far that's not a problem but could be down the road. Hopefully that will change and let us pull us each transaction so we don't have to remember what was paid for.

Update: I would like to pay my balance off, but every time I hit other amount, I try to put in my balance and it reverts back to the minimum amount due. Down to one star from three! It's an ok app. Biometrics doesn't work. Always asks me if I want to add biometrics. I always click on yes, but it never prompts me to use my fingerprint when I sign in.

App needs an overhaul. But more importantly, DO NOT GET A SURGE CARD. Somehow I end up with a late fee/return check fee EVERY MONTH. Have to pay from your checking acct. (My debit card IS my checking so why not allow it?) Sometimes it takes them a day to pull the funds, sometimes a week. They somehow know the EXACT moment to get it wrong. If rebuilding your credit, run far and fast. It takes 1.5 years to pay off $500. That's insane!! Obscene amt of phone calls from them. Don't do it!!

This app is great for making payment on your account. HOWEVER, I don't like the app nor the website. There's definite improvement needed in BOTH! the inaccuracy in card availability is nuts! I've had several instances where I'm going off the app to show me pending transactions only to not see items listed that I know I seen on the website. And vice versa. On the site shows one availability and transaction list that's not always same as app. FIX YOUR SITE AND APP TO TALK TO EACH OTHER!!!! THANKS

Downloaded this app to try to access my account after their webpage was changed and it would no longer let me log in to my account...have tried different browsers, different devices, and have tried to call customer service (the automated system keeps hanging up on me after it says it is transferring my call). Hoping this problem gets fixed very soon as I am on paperless billing and that involves a certain level of trust in a company's IT department.

I love my Surge credit account from Continental Credit! They just doubled the limit on my Surge card from $500 to $1,000 and I didn't even have to request the increase! Pay your bill on time and they will do the same for you! However, for all the negative commentators out there, you cannot expect to pay the minimum due every month carrying a balance from month to month and expect that to be regarded as a "responsible use of credit" by ANY creditor. Thank you Continental for the highest limit!

Horrible App, Great Card. The mobile app is no under whelming. It doesn't give you the transaction information, available credit, nothing you are thinking. Then, just clicking around on things in order to find out what should be 100% there, like MAJORITY of credit cards so once you sign in. This site is draconian and you would think, because their credit cards are AWESOME, they would want their website to reflect that.. Very disappointed after the update.

Straight forward, easy to use. My only criticism is the only pay option offered on the app is your bank account - no debit or credit cards can be used to pay your bill. Also, even though your bank shows the money's been deducted from your account, the credit card company doesn't credit your payment for up to 10 days!

One of the worst apps I've ever used. Slow. The payment disappears on the date, so I've made a double payment before and had a crazy credit on my account. There is no real options for viewing your credit card data. And payments take forever to process. The balance that shows is never correct.. I mean, ever. When you try to view payments, it's a total pain. Viewing the statements isn't fun either. I like the card itself SO MUCH, but the app is not great at all. They need a new app!!!

Changed it to 1* due to the fact that after most recent update it no longer recognizes my finger print log in or my password. Also says there's no info linked to my user name and to call customer service. Called and they can't figure it out so tried to set up a new account and guess what?? Username and email already exists. This has to be the absolute worst app I have ever used. This company wants to charge you late fees galore or $10 to pay over phone. Needless to say will be cancelled soon

Worst app and credit card. You can't even pay your bill with it because it keeps freezing your phone, then they want to charge you $10 when you call to pay your bill! So many things it doesn't cover then you call in and they tell you it doesn't work for that. It's not written in the contract. Customer service is horrible too. The people that left good reviews must be working for them, or be desperate for a credit card. Stay AWAY !

The app is extremely basic, and has a few glitches. The app constantly asks for my credentials after logging on. The app does not appear to update your account activity in real time. Even after paying my account in full, it shows the wrong available credit. The only part of the app that seems to function well is linking your Banks and making payments. So for that reason, i only rate it two stars.

I was torn between a 2 and 3 star rating because although it seems to be user friendly (I just downloaded the app), it doesn't seem to want to accept the amount I choose to pay. I had to re-enter my payment 3 times because it defaults to pay the entire balance...that can be costly for someone who does not pay attention to detail. I went with a 3 star rating because it has the fingerprint sign-in feature (which I've yet to test). If improvements are made, I will update my review.

If it were possible to give negative stars I would. I've lost access to my account for almost a month now. I can log on to the website fine but not the app and The website won't let you make a payment so my solution will be to cancel the account. I didn't ask for their credit, they offered it to me. I suggest that everyone else with a 0 balance do the same. This company is shady. Update: I upgraded the app, took it off of my phone and put it back and it STILL DOESN'T WORK!! Enough is enough.

I have used the app for nearly a year now; I was amazed to read the reviews as I have not yet experienced any complications with it. My account statements, my credit limit, the fees, etc., have all showed up ( expensively) without a glitch. I'm a faithful android user, don't know if that matters or not. My phone is pretty basic so, yes, so far I've had great success with this app.

I got this card for the 0% balance transfer rate, only to be told after spending a week trying to get ahold of customer service that they don't offer balance transfers. I've never been so pissed off with a credit card. The representative I was connected with didn't even know what a balance transfer was. DO NOT bank with these frauds!

Extremely glitchy app... Already called about it, won't let you login hardly ever. I was feed $30 from my bank because the app input savings instead of checking for payment to come out. Y'all tried to take payment from my savings then it came out of my checking, I don't even have access to pick savings or checking when making a payment. Something isn't right and I'm getting the runaround trying to get my money back from my bank when your app is glitching.
