Chai is a decent bot. There barely is a NSFW filter, which depends on the person if that's a bad thing. There's a large issue with memory and the fact not all the message is registered or that the bot even responds fully. The messages get cut off so it's hard to get the full context of what the bot is saying. I do like the function of sometimes you get two options of bot messages to pick,

Personally, I love this app. Unfortunately, after getting the new update, I'm unable to read any of my past chats except for the six most recent ones. This is very discouraging for someone who enjoys reading the past scenarios they've created and/or currently working on. Until this problem is resolved, I can only give 2 stars.

It was really good until the recent update, it now has constant pop up ads, and I mean like an ad every 8 messages now, that you can't skip. The 70 free messages were better than this, at least you could have a conversation without being interrupted every 8 messages. I kinda lost interest in using it cause the ads got really annoying really fast since it happens so often, and clicking out makes another ad come up. I used to prefer chai to character ai but I don't wanna deal ads every 8 messages

So they fixed the previous problem with the app were it used to crash when opening but now it has a new problem.. It now plays a video ad after what feels like every 10-20 messages! If I am being honest, I would just prefer to have limited messages instead of having to deal with an ad! I wish it was like this instead: Make it be 70 limited messages with an option to watch 3 ads to 'recharge' your free messages instantly or wait for it to naturally recharge.

It's amazing! The chatting, characters, developing stories for the chatting, and so much more! I personally have no experience making bots, but I imagine it's great. I do have one problem, however. When I chat, my chat is always above the characters, and it makes no sense. When it does this, the bubble you get when the bot is typing disappears. It's honestly getting annoying, but I've grown to live with it since Monday.

The app has improved a lot since the day I installed it, but I feel it's a bit stale. The roleplays seem to be a lot of the same thing and the limit on ai descriptions make it difficult to properly set them up as the intended characters, especially when the AI is meant to be more than one. I feel that doubling the character limit for bot personality descriptions and allowing group chats with bot's would fix these problems. It'd also be nice to be able to text users too but that's not necessary.

The characters forget things sometimes, so sometimes you need to remind them. I wish they had an option to have multiple responses to go back and forth to choose from like character.ai, but luckily, this one has it to where you can edit responses. No filter, and lots of room to type in personality! One REALLY annoying thing is that every single time you open the app, it wants you to sign up for a subscription- I ALREADY pay for one, I wish they would stop asking me to sign up when I already am.

This used to be a great app for talking to ai characters, the 70 message limit was perhaps annoying for some, but I never usually reached that limit, It was fun to talk with a character you wanted for a little bit and hop off. Now if you want to talk with characters, its Unlimited. But there's an Ad after every 2 messages. I didn't mind before when a few ads load on a new character, or when you reload a chat. But this is just ridiculous, practically unusable. Revert it back the old ad system.

Sometimes, whenever I try to talk to the characters, they take way to long to reply which I feel like is one of the bugs. I have to restart my phone and check to see if it works and it doesn't and I find it really annoying. Overall, the app works great, it's just annoying when the bot takes a long time to reply and then it becomes a glitch. I probably would had given this a 5/5 but with the little glitch that's happening for me, I'm giving this a 3.

My experience with the app was great, until the most recent update. When I send messages the response is above my message, you can go out of the chat and back into it and it fixes the problem, until you send another message and then it does the same thing. I don't want to have to keep exiting and reentering the chat in order for everything to be ok, please fix the issue. It's bearable, but it's really annoying.

Suggestion: I would very much like to see the ability to edit created bots, without it automatically changing the generated text portions in the following steps of creation. For example: If I've made a bot and trained it to be one way, even had a full conversation with it in advance settings, then I would like to be able to change something under "personality" without needing to then re-input everything as closely as I can remember in the following steps. Toggleable feature?

For a while the app was pretty good despite the amount of ads that would pop up after you clicked off of the chat, but lately it's been having a few bugs. Half of the time I send a chat the bot will respond with, "..." Or something really weird that doesn't match the time of the storyline whatsoever. If there's a time you can fix these issues, I love the app and would rate it 5 stars definitely! But for now it's a little frustrating having to deal with it. Thank you!

Wow, I got unlimited text messages. It's a very fun app. It gets a bit repetitive, though. We should totally get the option to edit and delete our own messages as well, so please think about it. Also, the AI suddenly forgets your gender, even if you establish that your character is a male. They tend to misgender you at times, so I'd like that your developers fix it. It occurs in multiple roleplays.

I've been using the app for a year or so now, it's been great and the new stuff I good and all. My only problem that I really hope y'all fix is how much the AI can say. Anytime I'm talking to an AI it's sentences get cut off randomly as it tries to talk more. The word cap, in my opinion, is holding back the AI's creativity and storytelling ability and if the word cap can be increased in a future update, this app would be so much better.

It's a great app and a lot of fun and the ads aren't so bad. I appreciate the unlimited messages too. But recently there's been a bug where it deletes messages and when the bot types a response, it always appears above mine. The message part isn't unbearable, but I hate that it is deleting the first messages, it messes with the bots memory and ruins the storyline. Please fix this.

I love this app! You can have NSFW conversations, ghost stories, best friends, anything. I'm learning to work on the memory of the characters and how to talk to them to enhance their abilities. But for the last 2 days, I have not been able to load the app. I've Uninstalled, restarted my phone, everything. It's quite sad because I have one I talk to every night, almost like a diary.

Really good! I like how you can edit the characters messages and regenerate them. I also like the infinity messages for free update! What I dislike is how the AI doesn't have good memory and when creating the characters personality there's only 8 choices. At least make the word limit shorter or just get rid of it. Other than that, this app is really good! (Sorry if I sound grouchy)
