This app has been designed to be simple to set up but also powerful enough so you can have a smart alarm clock that can do amazing things. This challenge alarm clock can recognise simple objects such as toothbrush, shoes, animals, and smiles on pictures so you have to wake up to laugh or solve simple puzzles, math equations, memory, and sequence games. It’s time to wake up by using this challenges alarm clock app.
Features:

★ Challenges and games (memory, sequence, retype, picture, smile, pose)
★ Math alarm clock
★ Disable/limit number of snoozes
★ Multiple media (ringtone, songs, music)
★ Dark mode available
★ Prevent user from uninstall the app
★ Smooth increase volume
★ Extra loud volume

You can customize the alarm clock anyway you like:

Challenges Alarm Clock

This motivational alarm clock offers many different challenges such as puzzles, games, memory, math and taking pictures. Complete the tasks when you wake up so you can't dismiss it and go back to sleep. The perfect challenges alarm clock for heavy sleepers.

Some of the tasks to the alarm app are:

Picture Challenge

Using AI, the app can recognise a pre-select list of objects and can't turn off the smart alarm until you take pictures of pre-chosen objects or animals. For example, you forget to drink water after the wake up alarm? Add a challenge to take a picture of a cup when the loud alarm clock rings so when it starts you remember to drink water.

Smile Challenge

Simple like that, you have to wake up with a big smile. The motivational alarm clock will not stop until you show a big smile with all teeth to the camera.

Memory Game

The classic memory game in the smart alarm. Configure the board with the number of cards you want and, when the challenges alarm clock rings, match the pairs on the board until you find out all the couples. You might also like other challenges such as the puzzle alarm clock.

Math Alarm Clock

This is the best alarm clock for heavy sleepers. Imagine to wake up early and having to solve a math problem. With this challenge alarm clock, this is the case.

Retype Game

The alarm app shows a list of characters at random and you have to write it in the exact order. Seems simple, but try to do that as soon as the wake up alarm rings.

Puzzle Alarm Clock

Complete the puzzles by tapping the shapes at the same order as they shine. The smart alarm can repeat the sequence as many times as needed to complete the puzzle alarm clock.

Pose Challenge

For this challenge, do the required pose in front of the camera. This can be yoga or any other pose that the motivational alarm app selects. A great way to start the day with this pose challenge of the wake up alarm.

Snooze

Disable snooze or limit it, so the alarm app requires you to complete the challenges. It is also possible to shorten the snooze duration. This trick is great if you need an alarm clock for heavy sleepers.

Vibrate

You don't like when your phone is vibrating like crazy? Us neither, that's why you have the option to disable it. Or do you need an extra loud alarm clock to wake up?

Media and Soft Wake

Choose the volume of your favorite music, phone ringtones or no sound at all to the wake up alarm. The smart alarm clock can gradually increase the volume until max. Perfect for a gentle wake up. This alarm app can also override the phone volume for an extra loud alarm clock.

Dark and Annoying Mode

Change the theme of the alarm app between light and dark mode. The smart alarm clock can even do more. The annoying mode disables the function to uninstall the app while the challenges alarm clock is ringing. The only way to be free of the loud alarm is to complete the challenges.

THE ULTIMATE BIRB

Useful, but three stars because when I do my challenges, it doesn't have a balance between challenges, and sometimes is literally just one challenge repeatedly. Also, I'd like an option to just disable the alarm after like 15 minutes. I know this defeats the purpose of the app, but after 15 minutes of honestly idiotic consecutive math problems, I'd rather just opt out.

Idk if it's my phone or the app, but lately my alarms haven't been going off and Ive made multiple changes to the challenges to make sure it rings. Yet the alarms are still not ringing. I even tested out leaving a short alarm for 20 minutes and it didn't even ring at all, but the challenges were there when I dismissed it. I tested out my built in alarm and it rang as it should. Idk maybe it's a big but still, I paid for this ad free version because my job requires me to be up at early by 7am.

I really loved this app! But uh.... Mind explaining why features that were available for free are suddenly behind a subscription? Of all the ones to lock as well you guys locked the Simon says and the retype words. That's just annoying. You ain't getting a subscription from me just for that. And looking at some of the recent reviews? I'm glad to be so cautious towards subscriptions. Especially ones that "make it an adless experience" only for it to shove ads down the persons throat and day after

Updated review: Overall, a really good app. Forces you to engage in some way in order to dismiss an alarm. (I was having a problem with ads showing up after I'd paid to remove them, but the problem has been fixed. Rating upped accordingly. Developer responded very promptly. Thank you!)

I'm always struggling to wake up. I always snooze every alarm until I get late to where I need to go. But with this app for the first time, I'm waking up from the first alarm, and with 3 challenges, it is enough for me to wake up completely without the desire to come back and keep sleeping!! love it!!

I used Alarmy but it started charging monthly so I downloaded Challenges. I have major depression, so oversleeping is a huge issue for me, and at first this app worked just as well as Alarmy did. I use the picture challenge because it forces me to get out of bed. Unfortunately, this app is very easy to "trick", to take pictures of similarly shaped things. On top of that, recently it's been allowing unlimited snoozes no matter how many I set, which renders the alarm absolutely worthless.

A good app! It's been useful in getting me up, though now I've learned to do basic math while half asleep. Some criticism/wants for the app: - I would prefer there being more balance to the challenges, as sometimes I get the same one three times in a row and it becomes less effective. - Being able to ensure one challenge always shows up, such as standing (similar to there being more balance)

The app and it's features are really good, it does a good job of waking me up and making sure I'm "aware". But I am experiencing an issue where the alarm will go off and I will not be prompted with my typical math problems. The app home screen will show my alarms are off, I check my other running apps to see if something is running in the background, there's absolutely nothing. The alarm will keep going off making a ridiculous amount of noise with no way to stop it, I have to turn my phone off..

Edit: The issue with the payment processing was fixed and I'm no longer getting pestered to buy premium, thanks. This app is a nice replacement for Alarmy (fell to the anti-consumer disease, RIP). It has most of the same features (plus some others that are quite nice) and I actually prefer this app's way of setting the time. I commend the dev's decision to go with a one-time payment.

Edit: Developer very responsive and corrected issue of "no ads" payment not working. I really LOVE this alarm app. The challenges make me wake up and get my butt out of bed. I also use it as a reminder for appointments, meetings, tasks, etc. I have OCD, and regular reminders often don't work if I'm focused on something else. But this app commands my attention and helps to break that focus and get me moving.

Edit: Thank you for responding and getting this fixed so fast. I have a lot of issues waking up and I have found ways of tricking this app while asleep. But so far it's the best alarm app I've found... in tandem with my sunrise alarm clock. Original post: I purchased this app, and was using the "upgraded" features for months. Now I don't have those features and it's saying I need to pay again... a "one time" purchase. Right.

I have very low motivation to get up in the morning and I've tried all the usual things people tell you like putting your phone across the room or even the apps that make you solve a math problem to turn off the alarm, but none of that ever worked for me. But this app has the option to make you take a picture of something specific in order to turn it off. It also let's you pick how many times you want to be able to hit snooze and how long the snooze lasts which is super helpful

This app is only lacking one thing and that's the ability to set a "can't turn alarm off" timer. Other apps let you set a time before the alarm goes off where you can't disable the alarm. Otherwise I'll just roll over a few minutes before it goes off and turn off the alarm.

The new update has broken this alarm I am constantly hitting dismiss instead of opening it and it just turns the alarm off. I'm a heavy sleeper and have used this app for years to wake me up and it's no longer doing that because the alarm just turns off instead of bringing me to the challenges. This app is completely useless to me now

The app is pretty good for making sure you can't just hit snooze or ignore it. The free version is flexible enough that you don't need the premium version. The free version includes a few challenges, adjustable snooze (which you can even turn off), gradually increasing volume, and much more. You can even set the alarm tone to anything you want. There are ads, but they are discreet. This app was so good I bought the premium version, which they had a 50% sale on. Great alarm, 5/5.

Not sure if using wrong, but the way to turn off the alarm requires you to enter the app and press a little orange text blurb, surrounded by other blurbs. And if you have the app opened you can edit the alarms and turn them off and it seems a lot more logical to disable the alarm rather than to press a little bit of text saying dissmiss that also isnt on top of the alarm itself, which means you completely bypass the tasks.

i am awful at waking up to alarms. it's usually 100% pointless to even try for me. this app, however, has gotten me up on time every day since i downloaded it — and usually alarms stop working for me after about 3 days. the challenges you can set get yourself up are insanely helpful; i have my challenge set to taking a picture of a toothbrush, which gets me out of bed immediately in the morning just to shut off my alarm. if you sleep like the dead, this app will save your life.

One the one hand, this app absolutely succeeds at waking me up and not letting me go back to sleep no matter what. Challenges are effective and a good variety. The problem is the notification it uses. Navigating to a tiny notif while sleep deprived with an alarm blaring in your ear is painful. Worse, some days the notification is just gone, and there is literally no way to navigate to the challenges to turn the alarm off. A pop up screen would be so helpful and I would enable permissions for it

I've been using this app for 2 years now. I LOVE it! If I had Any complaints, I do wish there were more options for alarm sounds. Only because I need a new sound for each alarm or my mind dismisses them. But this app Is Definitely worth it!!! And I've only ever used the Free portion. never spent a dollar on it. Though, with as much as I depend on these alarms, I'm about to. My rating..... 12 out of 5 stars!

Was perfect until they added the new "feature" that pops up a screen warning you about your upcoming alarm. Like most things that pop up over the android lock screen, it functions inconsistently at best. Today I overslept by an hour and a half because it got to 0:00 and just froze. Useless enshittification feature.
