My payment is saved but I have to call to start a remote session. I then have to go back in after to pay because the app is having issues processing my card. I use it at ALL other charging companies this is the only one with a problem. I email for help and I get some Bull about charging stations being independent and charging different prices. The APP is causing my problem and calling to start a charge every time is not necessary. There is clearly a problem with the APP not every station!

This app does not often alert when your car is done charging. There are times I plug in for hours and my car only gets charged by 10 or 15 miles total. There are also publicly available charge point brand stations that for one reason or another are not listed on this map. It works okay and it's one of the only apps out there. But that shouldn't be a reason not to improve it.

This is not for the app itself, but rather the physical chargepoint location. The touch screen did not respond at all during last night's snowstorm. For the safety of those living in areas that get snow, I strongly urge chargepoint to bring in actual buttons. I could have frozen to death last night trying to get touch screen to work. The only reason I got it to work was because of a roll of paper towel I happened to have. The screen responded to the damp paper towel after I wiped it off.

App works fine when you are under a normal operating situation (charging etc). However the support line is iffy. For example after installing the home flex charger I decided to upgrade my breaker to a higher Amp breaker. However I can't get the app to recognize the higher app breaker. The field for changing it us grayed out. Support line suggestions have not worked. They said they'd push issue up channel but haven't heard back. Really slow or non-existent support for homeflex.

Horrible app. Can't connect to servers most of the time, map doesn't find stations I am standing at. Error trying to connect to server so can not charge. . Do not accept email support. Call support horrible. Some stations I called about that are so scratched up have not been replaced over a year. No wonder company is losing so much stock value, nobody cares about the user experience .

Honestly pretty shocked and impressed, I wrote a 1 star review almost a year ago when a setting to change the amps was removed from the app but the unit was still advertising the ability as I had bought the unit to have that capacity, and they actually brought it back. I think this is the first time I've seen a company actually restore a useful feature when customers wanted it back. Very impressed.

it's probably me, since I'm new at this, but at 2 different locations on 2 different days I went to ChargePoint fast charge chargers and they were both charging below 10 speed, while I went to a Non-ChargePoint location and it charged at the expected speed, over 40. I checked my car settings and there is nothing there that I should need to change, plus it worked at a competitors station. i find everyone's app hard to use, but this app was easier than the competitor.

A recent update that broke the account page is now fixed and the app seems to be working well now, though I didn't know that my auto reload setting was on and I was unexpectedly charged when my balance was low. I switched to pay as you go, but one has to wait until next month to actually activate it. I just checked now and I'm getting a network error when though I can use the Internet on my phone with no problem so it's a ChargePoint server issue. Fixed one issue and now another one popped up.

How do you mess up so bad that the primary function of your app stops working for two days (and ongoing). The app is not showing any chargers, has been "unable to reach network". Also, people have more than one electric car. This app does not support that use case. If your first car is charging at home for example, you will have trouble using the app for the second car at work. I literally have that scenario and it doesn't work.

The notification feature never seems to work because it doesn't wake the phone up. I would see a stale notice that a station is available when I check my phone, then immediately a notice that someone else has taken the spot. Useless! Fix this please. And I used to be able to just swipe down and force the My Spots view to refresh. Now the new version doesn't let me easily refresh the status of stations. I wish I can at least go back to the older version.

Used to work great. Lately different issues causing me to reboot charger, reconfigure wifi, etc. Very unreliable and can't trust it to charge on schedule so I removed schedule and now schedule within my car instead. All this is new within last 90 days. Previously I had no issues the first 8 months I had the charger installed and used it at home

This app always works. I never have a problem with it. I really like that this app tells you whether or not a charger is being used, or if it's even working at all. I also like that you can start and stop your session through the app. You can watch your charging progress too. It's helpful for when you're walking around somewhere, no guessing when your car is charged

It's more annoying than using EVgo or simply a credit card. Helpful for finding them, but then I sit there going back and forth five times with this damn app just trying to RFID into the charging station to use it. Constantly getting "Not authorized" only to find the app logged me out and I have to keep logging in, reselecting the location I'm at, holding my phone to the thing, sometimes unplugging and plugging my car back in. If you want us to convert to electric, you people need to fix this!

UPDATE: The app states I am still in a charging session that started 4/3/24, (today is 5/23/24), it fails to show the accurate charging station status on a vast majority of charging stations, You try to do notify me and it says it's not available. The entire Charge Point system is garbage. The charging stations don't work a lot of the time, they stop charging mid charge, you can't start charging because the tap charge doesn't work and you can't start via the app, it's not even offered at times.

How are they not capable of adding a waitlist feature to this app STILL? Tapping the phone on the station does not work. Never worked. Just add a manual waitlist feature so I don't have to pull up the web site every single time. Now Im stuck in an active charging session even though I unplugged my car 2 days ago. Clicking end session gives an error. Trying to contact support though the app gives an error "unsupported browser" Can't charge. Can't join waitlist. Can't contact support.

It needs to do a better job of tracking available spots and re-assign immediately if reserved spot doesn't work. Several times, it gives me a spot when it's my turn on the wait list, yet the spot is taken. After I report the spot is not available, the app does not immediately re -assign put me back on top of the wait list.

Shocking reliability! No pun intended. Whenever trying to start a session remotely, I stand there waiting for the cable to unlock for a couple minutes, then I go and grab my phone to tap the charge. It unlocks straightaway, then a few minutes later there's an error saying it failed to start because it might be in use.. yeah... BY ME. 5+ minutes to initiate a charge session remotely via app? Get it together, ChargePoint, I'm getting sick of your Scheiße.

In the recent overhaul, I'm afraid this otherwise excellent app took a big step backwards. Zooming in on the map is now all messed up, and actually zooms OUT when I try to go in. Panning is similarly jerky. I thought they'd fix this quickly, but it's been months now. Also, please don't FORCE us to update again only a week after we already did. When we are traveling in remote areas, we are often on a thin, expensive data connection and updating the app again is annoying or even impossible.

Since the May 1 app update, the app won't connect to the charger. The charger shows offline and won't reconnect despite rebooting the charger manually at the breaker, and rebooting our router. It has worked fine for more than 6 months. Only change was an app update. Also, the app makes you jump through numerous pages to be able to contact support but then requires info you can only get from another part of the app. Meaning you have to start over, grab that info, and jump through the hoops again

Expensive and inconsistent. While I understand this is not a high-speed charger, I expect I'd at least be notified when charging, which typically takes hours, is finished. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't, and that's been the case for a long time...so they get to charge idling fees. Apparently I have to set my own alarm and guess when I should come back. Unfortunately it seems the inconsistent notification is not a priority to fix since it was a revenue generator. I'll go elsewhere
