My Church Center app had a bug and would not open the Household account. I contacted them by email and asked for help. Everyone was amazing and did a terrific job at resolving my issue. Steph, Sandi, and Stephen were heroes and went beyond what was asked. Great app and service. Blessings to you guys, especially those who were not named.👏😉

Don't want to be too mean, so giving it a solid 3. Good concept, does not meet standards of other existing services, although isn't bad. Also, some issues with data and PII compliance using this in NZ, I cannot endorse using in this country. Edit: get a hold of your app permissions, especially as a church/christian organization, you need to be impeccable.

Looks like lotsa churches decided to be part of "Church Center App", you get to choose your church amidst a hundred other local RivCo churches, all in one app. Once you log in with your church, the app will ALWAYS open at your church. I bet this saves churches ALOTTA money, instead of having to create and make a available their own unique app! Good work in being good stewards of the money our wonderful Lord entrusted to you, Churches!

My church has used this app for several years. I've watched it go from helpful/useful to almost useless. 1. It has NEVER alerted me to incoming messages. 2. Directory no longer provides phone #s so if I need to talk to someone I can only message(see #1) so I get to wonder when/if they'll ever get it. If I didn't need it to check in I'd uninstall as useless junk. I may just quit signing in.

Great app, a bit buggy. The most prevalent bug is when you tap on a notification, the app often opens to whatever you were doing previously in the app, not to the place that the notification is relevant to. My other issue is the fact that you have to log in everytime you open the app- especially annoying when the group chat function is being used. Having to log in before giving money makes sense, but the rest of the app should be accessible without logging in.

Everything is zoomed in like 500% across the entire app. It was working great for a while, but now it's like everything is zoomed in and the touch areas are off because of it. I'm on Galaxy s21 Ultra. All of it is zoomed in, except for the messages portion of groups. I had to reinstall the app and it's fixed now. It seems like this is a common occurrence that has to happen. Something messes up. Uninstall and reinstall. This is the second time this week I've had to do this.

Can't log in! After my device restarted, the app required my device password, which happens to be 16 characters. Whenever I enter it, I get a dialog that says the password must be no more than 16 characters. Apparently, the app can't count to 16! Until now, the app has been great; now it's useless.

Laggy, buggy, crashes consistently. Just logging this here for feedback - only been using it for some months, but since the start it has only worked a couple minutes before freezing up and crashing. Pixel 4a 5g, latest Android version. Could be a very useful platform but basic function is hindered right now to near unusability.

It would be nice for the app to have the ability to send an email to a group. I have looked all over the app and cannot find this functionality. If it is present, it is not intuitively located. The full Planning Center website has this functionality; I would like for the app to have it as well. And it would also be nice for group emails to have reply all functionality. Currently, a group email recipient only has the ability to reply to the sender. There are many situations where a reply all communication needs to be sent. If reply all functionality is present from the full Planning website, it is not intuitively located as I have not yet been able to find it. I have rated this app as 3 Stars due to this lack of functionality. I would rate this app with more stars if this functionality is added.

This app is a bit of a pain - I only use this because my church does. To go from notification to the message often takes too much time and effort. Often some kind of additional authentication is needed, followed by many cognitively-involved navigation steps. It already took so many clicks just to see messages, and then they moved groups behind the more button. To be frank, this app is probably the most significant communication barrier between me and my church. I dread using it.

There maybe a problem with the last update. On Android phones, in the directory, it doesn't load the full list. So if you decide to type in the name in the search bar, the keyboard does not initiate. I tried on my iphone and it works but not on my Galaxy S22 ultra. I like the new publishing interface!

Super great for some things, but terrible for others. I personally am a big believer is The Church, big"C" Church, but this app won't let you switch between churches for different events, at least not that I've been able to figure out and it's terribly frustrating. Several churches in our city use the app for many things and because we are involved not only with our church, but our community, being able to respond to and get info on events for different churches is important to us.

Not impressed. I installed and uninstalled multiple times trying to get the sync calendars option to work. A church friend notified Church Center of the problem. She received an email saying the problem had been corrected. Uninstalled and installed again per instructions and it still won't sync. I get a notification "unable to launch event". I'm not trying to launch an event, I'm trying to sync calendars....

Our church began using this app in mid-2021. We have had a few glitches reported from our congregants as well as the most recent, which is that the map (directions) does not open and we have yet to figure out why this stopped working. There also could be some enhancements made to what we can do with the overall design in the Publishing portion of the app. It is still fairly limited and it would be nice to have some ability to customize color, font and the appearance.

Had the app on my phone with one church for 3 weeks with no problem. Added another church, and was able to switch between the two churches for about 2 days before it stopped working. I cannot access anything now, I just have a blank, white screen. I went to the app store and tried the button marked "open" but all that comes up is the blank screen. Apparently the app may be good to use with one "church", but not multiple churches (groups).

I've had to delete and reinstall this app multiple times and still when I try to register for an event it locks up and flashes back and forth between screens. I have to log in on my computer to register for things at my church. The app is great when it works but when it doesn't it's worse than nothing! Even reinstalling it isn't solving the problem now!

Horrible functionality. Everything you need to try and do with it, you can't do unless you go through "selected 'gatekeepers' " for what you need. This app gives the church more control and organization, but it also forces the congregation into being micro managed by those gatekeepers or those who don't know how to effectively use the app.

It has a lot of features that are useful for a congregation. I do wish that some of the user preferences were more intuitive. I almost left a group that I had been added to which was blowing up my phone before I figured out that control of individual group notifications are hidden in the settings cog. This and a few other features would be a simple thing to add to the UI to make it more friendly to members who are more casual users since some might just uninstall the app from annoyance.

The app is great for some things but not for others. I feel like with my Google phone I almost always have issues with certain apps. The current issue I'm having is with registrations. Some of the registrations will work for me in some do not. The registrations that have drop down boxes or things to click on it won't let me click on them and I can't skip or continue without doing so. I have tried reinstalling the app but it still doesn't fix it.

It works sometimes. Other times, not so much. It's poorly laid out. Hard to find things. It's also inconsistent. Some people have buttons to do things, other people do NOT have those buttons. Instead, some have text labels where the buttons should be. EDIT: Worry about basic things not working before you solicit feature requests.
