This is a really good app for buying tickets and getting discounts at the concessions! My only gripes are two things. 1. (This issue was for an older version. Don't know if it was fixed.) I don't know if it was on a per theatre basis but I can only purchase tickets in sets of 2 or less to get the $8.99 price if it's higher, get points if I purchase it at the booth, or have the online fee waived. This happened at the Napa Cinemark. 2. There should he a notification when the ticket you're buying costs LESS than your free credit. For example, my credit costs $8.99 and the ticket I'm buying is $6.00. That's $1.99 I lost. These add up. There are tickets that are $9.50 or even $12.25 that I want to save the credits for so I have to uncheck the free credit option. But if you are in a rush to purchase tickets this can slip past you.

Use it all the time, minor quibbles A previous version opened at my favorite theater and now I have to select between a favorite theater and one I've not favorited, a very small delay in seeing showtimes. Also, if you back out of a ticket purchase it will gray out the seats for some time. So if you have to change quantities or ages, be careful. But great app all around

Good app but not great, it could be but it needs a little more work. You don't earn rewards nearly fast enough and when you do the rewards are weak and connected to something else you have to buy. A real reward is free with no stipulations. When I earn rewards with my Imagine rewards card it comes quicker and it's really free with no catches. So please consider this and make this app really worth while. Thanks for listening!

Slow and Inconvenient. Everytime I go to purchase tickets I have to click the "try again" button over and over. When clicked there's no indication it went through and more than half the time it just won't work. Also, the cinemark pass used to not upcharge charge for XD which it now does, making the hassle to use their app even less appealing. Sorry Cinemark, I've been a loyal customer for over 30 years but AMC is looking better and better.

No idea what has changed, but the app is painfully slow every single time I use it. After hitting "add to cart" it can take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes before I can complete the transaction. My friend who also has the app but is on an iphone has the same issues. I cleared the cache. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. This doesn't work when I am connected via WiFi or not.

Having trouble getting all my points and rewards even when the barcode is scanned and my phone is in cinimode throughout the duration of the movie to earn a free reward. I'm unsure if that's an app issue or connection at the theater. In spite of this, when my points do go through I am very happy and excited to earn one point for every dollar to cash in for reduced prices and free things. I enjoy the movie posters and I'm sure the more I use the app the more I'll enjoy it. I'm happy with it :)

I've never had this problem in my last almost year or so of using this, but suddenly it is doing this thing where it will not connect if I'm on wifi. Maybe some would think its not a huge problem, but it has been really inconvenient and I feel like it should be fixed. Also I'm not sure this is a problem with the app, but I never get rewards and my friend gets them all the time and I use mine way more often. However, if just the wifi thing was fixed I would give 4-5 stars.

The app makes it easy to use points and rewards. But it's so buggy. Constantly telling me I need to be online to do a thing... even though I am online. Or having to select a movie multiple times before it finally shows me a description instead of a black screen. I've already Uninstalled and reinstalled I've. Just to get it. Win some. Lose some. 🤷♀️

Movie Club is great, and there have been a ton of improvements over time. Unfortunately, after the update putting seat and ticket selection on the same screen, sometimes my phone does not allow me to zoom in to select seats, making selecting seats/tickets almost impossible. It can take multiple closes and restarts for the app to allow me to zoom on the seats again.

Okay I know they were trying to improve the app by adding these nice pretty pictures. But now with the latest update as of approximately July 12th, the system freezes up regularly. And when it doesn't, the screens take three or four times as long to load. Not good when you're trying to purchase your tickets online every week like I do. Get this fixed or I'm switching to AMC!! Update: Jan. 2022 the app is fixed and much better now. Thanks Cinemark!!

Well the app works for buying tickets and whatnot but it's functionality is pretty iffy. Scrolling is a pain as tracking does not seem to like to function. You can't zoom in when picking seats, so you may mispress the seats and also have trouble reading the rows. Load times are just plain slow even with a good connection. I really don't understand how anyone managed to mess up something with such simple functionality. Overall the app "works" but really needs some polishing.

I've loved this app since its inception. They've made a lot of great improvements over the years but the one thing seriously lacking is a button to click to get back to your "Cart". If you mistakenly "x" out of the window before completing your purchase there is absolutely no way to get back to it. Which then holds up any seats you have selected and you can't reselect them until the system drops them from your cart after 10 to 15 mins. Dropping rating back down to a 4.

The Cinemark Theatre app has some issues, such as not allowing users to search for movies instead of scrolling, not showing alternative languages and not allowing users to see new release movie merch like popcorn buckets, pins, and blankets. This may be problematic for parents who have never been to the movies and may struggle to understand the content. Additionally, the search button only works for zip codes, making it difficult for users to find specific movies. Overall it's a mid app.

Great app if you go to the movies a lot. We go about once a month and those tickets can add up!! With the movie club membership you get a free ticket for practically the price of a ticket anyway and then all other tickets are discounted. You earn points to redeem free tickets and snacks. There's always coupons for concessions too. I especially love that they offer the snacks pick up option. So I can order ahead and my food is ready when my movie is. I've been a member for over r a year now.

So I make an account in the app, it then tells me that my password is wrong, so I go in and change the password twice. It still is not signing me in. This is a stupid app, it can't even app properly... It's been some years, and the app is apping properly now. It's been great, I love going to the movies and the perks that this app comes with such as 20% off concessions, no online fees. A free ticket every month. All for $11.87. 12/10 would recommend.

It's a fine app. My issues are the online fees you have to pay off you've paused your membership to try to use up all the credits for all the months there wasn't a good enough movie to bother going to. If I'm using the credits I got while I was a full member, the online fees (which are a rip off in the first place) should be waved just like for all members.

Pretty well laid out screens. Intuitive navigation. Options to easily add food, snacks, tickets, and select your seats. Sometimes, things come up, and you need to change your plans, so it is easy to edit or cancel. My favorite is a free ticket each month and MEMBER DISCOUNTS!! What's not to like?!

It was very frustrating and difficult to navigate the app without an actual CART that I can click on. THEN, I'm buying tickets for 2 different movies and, as soon as I'd added tickets for the 2nd movie, the tickets for the first movie were GONE! So, here we go again, trying to navigate a horrible app. I was forced to make 2 transitions after trying 3 times. Also, I updated my card, info for its new date and code, but the system wouldn't accept it.

Extra charges on everything (The processing fee costs more than a ticket; extra charge on concession even if I'm picking it up). Highly disappointing process. It really doesn't seem worth going to the theater anymore. At least things were saved to my cart, but if I backed up at all, I had to go through the whole process again just to access the cart. Makes no sense.

A Must-Have for Movie Lovers. I've been a member of the Cinemark subscription for nearly two years, and it's been incredibly beneficial. The free movie ticket every month, along with discounts, has made it a fantastic value. Compared to other theaters, Cinemark consistently offers a superior experience.The Cinemark app is user-friendly, and I've had no technical issues. I have my three favorite theaters saved for convenience—one local and two in frequently visited travel spots.
