The Circle subscription is an automatic renewing subscription. Your subscription will be charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew unless auto-renewal is disabled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions are billed at the start of each period and cannot be refunded. Subscribers can manage subscriptions and disable auto-renewal by visiting their Google Play Account Settings after purchase.

Makes everything painful. I use this app to place limits on my phone use which works great. My problem is that other normal functions are affected to the point that my phone is almost unusable. At times texts don't send, certain apps will not open, certain websites will not open. I don't know of another app that can take care of the monitoring functions that I need, so I have to use this one.

This app sounds like a great idea, but it consistently FAILS! Just like others say, it works fine for a couple of days and then it will not work! We have spent more time being frustrated and wasting money and time than we have actually being able to use this app! It's TERRIBLE!!!! Edit after company response: We would love to get help from the company, but we have reached out repeatedly to you, and we have not gotten through and we get no technical assistance. This app is worthless 😟👎

This app does not work as advertised. It claims to block sites at a level before the individual computers but it seems to be hit and miss. We have not renewed and our app shows no subscription but today, out of the blue, they took a monthly subscription fee out of our account. This is unethical and, quite frankly, illegal. I have contacted them and will contact my bank.

I love the theory behind this app, but it simply doesn't work. All of the adults using Android in our household have the same issue; the app works great for a day or two, and then it freezes on the loading screen indefinitely. The only consistent solution we've found to this is resetting the app data or reinstalling the app, and repeating every 2ish days.

Sometimes it works but often it just doesn't. When I first got Circle a couple years ago, it was awesome. Now, it's pretty much pointless. Can't pause the internet, can't filter all the devices, won't get reports...it goes on. All it does is slow down your internet. Disney used to own Circle, but now it's Aura. I'm not sure if that's still part of Disney, but I'm going to guess not. I'm going to try Bark.

Ever since my mother purchased this device (about 6 months ago) we have been experiencing many connection issues. The wifi speed can be extremely inconsistent at times, and sometimes I cant get internet access at all (even when the circle app says I am). I did some research and found that our specific wifi router is not mentioned in either the list of compatible routers nor the list of incompatible routers. We cant return the $100 device because it was purchased months ago.

The app crashes when clicking on Apple devices for usage. Kids easily remove the app from tablets. It is easy to assign devices to groups and set schedules or turn off internet. Youtube is always a struggle because it appears as an app usage or browser usage so difficult to limit as kids are smart enough to just shift how they are consuming.

Circle is ok in content monitoring, but the app is bad. Opening the app brings up the pin entry with numeric keypad, but then a spinner, then the keypad didappears. There is no deep linking, so any notification requires me to remember some piece of info like a mac address and search for it. The interface for profiles is useless if you have more that 5 profiles, or two kids with the same first letter of their name. I find that common actions in the app are convoluted or take too many taps.

The Circle is just not that good at blocking content you don't want your kids to see. It has a feature that allows you to assign all new devices to the "Home" profile which was good to just keep that paused and prevented devices such as the Xbox who allows you to change the Mac address and spoof the system, but now even pausing doesn't work. I purchased the lifetime package and regret it. Also it interferes with all my smart home devices, bulbs and such even though I have them set to unmanaged.

Its great when it works. Very annoying when it doesn't. Which is too often. Sometimes can't connect so your stuck with whatever it's set on. Right now it has a bug that makes the categories tab not open. Such a pain to work around. No customer service. Edited to 1 star based on recent blackouts. Totally unacceptable functioning as of late.

So far, so bad! I purchased the circle plus device for my home network, and the app will not set it up. I've tried with wired and wireless connections. The app stalls on the "looking for your circle device" page when attempting to pair through ethernet. When I try to pair via wifi, I can connect to the circle hotspot, but after that, the app stalls and won't do anything. I reset the device, reinstalled the app, and am still unable to pair.

This app is terrible and barely works. Why am I paying for it? I haven't been able to connect to the circle app for a while now, it gives an error saying cannot connect to circle... Also, anyone who can't login using their email address, the login is case sensitive. I had the same issue until I made my entire email lowercase. Hope that helps someone.

I would have given this 5 stars a year ago. I've used it for a couple years with no issues and loved it. However, the past couple months it won't work. Everytime I try to open the app it spins like it's loading but never opens. I saw another reviewer also comment on this "circle of doom." It's worthless to me now that I can't open the app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times. Never works.

The product itself is excellent, though not for an Adroid phone out side the home wifi. In that case, the app can easily be removed from the phone. Boo. But we got something else for the phones and kept this for the devices in house. But now that the trial is over, I can't restart the subscription! I am working with customer service, but I've been escalated twice, and still no luck. I am really hoping they can fix this bug, I'd like to keep this service!

The device hasn't kept up with technology in general. The Circle device is supposed to identify the devices on my network, but it couldn't identify most of them. So I wasn't sure which devices I was working with and didn't know which settings to establish. It was such a mess. The few devices it did identify still didn't have finding and other settings working after I established them. At one point the app finally crashed and wouldn't open again. I never was able to open again.

While a appreciate having an add on to my home network to monitor all traffic (including tv) + app controls, the circle parental controls app is so buggy. It frequently doesn't work at all and support is very unhelpful, usually suggesting I do things I've listed as things I've already tried. It will randomly start working again on its own. I wish it worked as expected, reliably, because it's great when it does work.

Sometime in the last week, something has failed. I cannot connect to the system from my Pixel Pro 6. I've rebooted Circle, cleared cache, force stopped app, and even removed and reinstalled app - and Circle will not get past first screen with Circle logo with spinning circle of dots. Very frustrating. Fortunately, wife's iOS version seems to work - but this is very frustrating!

When it actually loads, it works fine, but it often takes upwards of 5 minutes to load. My biggest complaint is that when devices are being used during "focus time" it always uses up their regular time limit, even though it's not supposed to. For example, we have focus time set from 7am-12pm, with certain apps allowed. If they listen to audiobooks (which are allowed!) for 3 hours during focus time, it won't allow them to play games/watch videos during the hour I have given. It's frustrating!

Absolutely garbage product. It filtered only half the time Didn't alert me to when it went offline. The customer service is awful. I paid $99 for the year. I have had an issue and have not had the home filter working for the past two months. The customer service team still hasn't fixed it. I keep providing the same info and even took pics, and they couldn't figure it out for almost months. Finally, someone seems to understand, but it has been 10 days since our last email. This is so ridiculous

The restrictions work, but as a 14 year old, I have some problems / recommendations for the child side of the app. I use a samsung phone, and half of the time when I open the app, the internet I use doesn't update on the app. Sometimes it doesn't even give me the 15 minutes left and the out of time notification. On the topic of notifications, I feel that u should be able to choose when it notifies me. There could be a settings tab where I could choose it to notify me when I have 30-60 mins left.
