Easy to use app. I really only use it for my go to coffee store. Although it has come in handy for a few other local stores. Its easy to create an account, look up your store, or redeem your receipt for your points. Definitely recommend this app

CLOVER IS A USELESS APP that's created and managed by useless people. I was linked to their useless app through a restaurant website. I placed my order, and at no time did the app confirm the store address. I made the mistake of thinking this app was managed by people with common sense. Now, I have to drive 30 minutes out of my way during peak traffic hours and sacrifice sleep to pick up a large order for a work potluck. Believe me when I say that this app deserves ZERO stars and ZERO users.

Reading reviews from the entire last year. It appears that rewards simply won't redeem or won't work at all. Also, the app is unable to accept any payment methods. Just says "Well, shucks. We're having trouble reaching Clover on the network". And more importantly, there is literally NO customer service. No email, no phone number, nothing. There is no way to contact anyone about any issue. Ridiculous! These issues have been on-going for the better part of a year!

App just says "Well, shucks We're having trouble reaching Clover on the network." whenever I try and enter my payment info which I know works because I've used it since. I even tried switching from home Wi-Fi to 5G mobile data, but no dice. I let the shop (Chicken Troopers) know. Update: Got the payment info updated, but when ordering I get the error message "Hmm... We're sorry, we're having trouble talking to the server. Please try your order again in a moment or restart the app".

I have used this at two different businesses. I HATE this point system app. I find it doesn't always track. Some receipts expire. The businesses have multiple listings. I think it could make me go to the places that use it LESS. A paper punch card would work better to reward loyalty. I should tell the companies it is a waste of their money!

Poorly made I downloaded this app to keep track of points for one store. I can't bookmark it so I have to search it every time and for some reason when I search the name it's never at the top and I have to scroll looking for it. All you can do is search stores to see if you have points. There is no section for stores you have points at to keep track of them or anyway to see what points or locations are already linked to your phone number.

App removed my payment information and when I try to re-add it it just keeps giving me the "Well shucks, can't connect to the network" error, while everything else was working. Can't exactly order food without paying... That was 2 weeks ago. Now it refuses to load any local stores or my recent/frequent locations so it's even more useless than before.

An alternative to the delivery apps where the restaurant doesn't get robbed. One problem with the app is that it doesn't remember your special instructions... gets to be a pain remembering to reenter things like no X due to allergy. The other downside... very very few places use clover.. and the search shows things nowhere near me - like on the other shore of the US.

I'd used the Clover app at four different restaurants on five occasions. Only one of the four restaurants give a code for cash back savings. The app doesn't work in a number of restaurants specializing in Asian or South of the Border cuisine. It would be nice if this app would ensure the restaurants advertised know how their system works. I would like to be contacted for further details.

I don't find this app very intuitive when it comes to entering codes after making purchases. Instead of navigating to the specific merchant and then entering a code, you click the code icon and enter the code. From an operational standpoint, this is quicker, but I'd rather navigate to the retailer's page, enter the code, and then view my balance. I understand that this use my preference, but I should state that the app is not that intuitive.

When it worked it was great. Unfortunately the reward program didnt work for me since I couldnt redeem the free drink on my bday which was very disappointing. Then it started to crash and have network issues and even after restaring my phone and reinstalling the app it didnt come back. I guess the one more star is just for the experience while I had it.

Each time I've used Clover, either the code I entered was not accepted or I've had to start over because it erased the past rewards I've earned from purchases at various participating locations. So, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Then the app wouldn't load or take forever to open if and when it did finally open. I've uninstalled it yet again. Leary of how it's going to be this time around. Good idea.. relatively user friendly

Updated: 5 stars. super easy to use, I think one gui improvement would be making the add text code more upfront and not a small top right option. I think a second improvement would be generating scannable QR codes and allowing the application the option to open directly to the scanner once the profile is built. I do like the idea of checking in to the vendor location to accumulate, but sometimes it's easier to handle applying points after the matter.

Cant recover password when switching phones. Lost a lot of points and had to start over with a new account. App doesnt show local stores, just loads blank pages. No way to view my current points unless I add a new receipt. Not even sure I will be able to access my freebie once I earn it. App is very cheap and cant say that it actually works. App needs to be completely rewritten as it currently has basically no functionality.

Update: 3 local restaurants that I used this app with have cancelled their service through clover. The clover team has no customer service to speak of, and constant issues lost them money. I guess I'll uninstall now. It's useful to be able to order from some of my favorite restaurants from this app. However that's where the usefulness ends. The rewards programs don't function. And a lot of restaurants that use this service don't know how to best provide a good experience.

I LOVE this app and program because it definitely shows us customers that we are appreciated. Who doesnt like earning rewards?? Most times I have no issues, however there have been a couple times when I tried to use it that the clerk could not see where I was attempting to check in so I lost my discounts because when I refreshed the app it showed I had already used the credits. So it definitely needs some work on the check in process but other than that NO COMPLAINTS! ITS WONDERFUL! Worth it!

Watch for double charges! I noticed when I was placing an order that when I chose 20% for the tip the cost when up a lot more. Sure enough, if you choose the tip by % versus adding in a custom tip amount, the app charges twice for a tip. The total breakdown is right but the total is wrong. Don't know how long this has been happening.

Trust the reviews, the app sucks! Had rewards to redeem, and clicked the redeem button by accident before I got to the register. I figured it was okay since the app was "waiting on cashier". Once I did try to redeem, it had disappeared. You'd think the reward would stay until it's actually used..... The interface is basic and there isn't any way for you to look at account history...i don't know why restaurants choose this as their rewards systems, they'll just end up with frustrated customers...

Not happy with this app. It was working fine up until yesterday, when I never received reward points for a visit to a favorite local eatery. Biggest issue is there is no way to contact Clover support to rectify the issue. There is also no way to send a message/feedback directly to the restaurant through the app, like the instructions in their help section states. Bummer!

Can't attach an email to my account, since the site constantly errors out on verification. Can't transfer my account to my new phone, because too many codes got sent due to erroring out and not sending any until I had done so ~3 times. No sign of a cooldown period, all I get is a condescending "aw shucks" message. So I guess I'm screwed out of points on my account, and there's no good way to contact customer service. Real professional.
