Excellent app for identifying coins! It's particularly useful when a coin is inscribed with non-Latin characters and symbols, like a lot of Arabic coins.

This app takes photos clearly enough, but it's not giving me value . I downloaded it to find the value not to take a guess at how much my coins are worth. I can do that without the app and be just as wrong.

Good app overall. However in the sell or buy section i regularly get stuck an the coins advertised show only one side of the coins and do not always want to open the coins advertised its like the internet failed but im sure it is the app lagging. Also some long descriptions of the sellers i cannot open to read it all. Lastly i think its better if the app refer possible buyers rather to NGC or other trusted sites to get an idea of the values of the coins.

Good overall app that is great for identifying any kind of coin with a clear photo. My only reason for 4 stars over 5 is that ads can come up unexpectedly and distract some from the experience.

A great app .I've been using it alot to check my old coins .it's identified every coin if shown . Easy to use , just line it up in the circle and away you go ..It gives options .ie when i put french euros in ...I will continue to use it for as long as ever.. Thank you coinoscope .

I've been looking for a online site that 60 years old friendly to use. So far,I like coinoscope very useful and easy to navigate. I do use a few other apps for comparison and so far coinoscope is spot on.plus I can store my collection in photo in the storage this app offers. I've published a few of my coins on here and immediately had responses from coinoscope users. Unfortunately, I wasn't set up for receiving payments for my coins but, today I I purchased a lifetime subscription.now I'm ready

I was more than disappointed.. When I added the extra information to help check the value, year,date,errors...it seemed like it didn't matter.. It went with the same list it ran with,just like on the other coin I was looking for.... No help at all.. very Disappointed..

Pretty decent app I am able to take a picture of my coin and it will find similar coins. Yes you may have to hit similar in order to find the correct date but considering I am using the free version its working pretty good. I have another app that I paid for that has not identified one coin yet I have even tried modern coins With that being said yes you may have to put a little effort into it but it works decently. Also, I dont use this app for a price guide

I was definitely appreciating the app and had 13 coins identified and saved. Camera decided it no longer wanted to cooperate and error "failed to initialize camera" becomes my current status. Definitely an awesome tool, provided it will work and work consistently. Any suggestions from the devs would be appreciated.

great at identifying coins and similar coins ,but not spot on about key dates and good about give a numismatic value. However ....there are a $hit load of coins so I could imagine it is very difficult to have all the info on all the coins based on pictues. all in all very useful and very nice and convenient app!

I would DEFINITELY give this app. 10 stars if possible. (Which is actually an essential tool) that any level of numismatic prowess should have on hand at all times. I've been in the field 38 years now, and have found NO other tools that compare even closely yet. As Numismatists know, the vast array of specimens in this field is innumerable. This has helped me WAY more than I ever could have anticipated. Even if it doesn't find an EXACT match, it greatly reduces the spectrum of research.

"Warning" this is a completely useless app! All it took for me to figure that out was to search up 2 common coins I had sitting on my desk with this app and receive completely nonsense results that had no resemblance to the coins I tried to search up! It's nothing more than a data sucker, waste of space, and doesn't function at all as advertised. Furthermore, any good reviews this app has must have come from its developers and not actual users. The Play store should remove this app.

I have been using this app for some time now and I like it a lot for verifying coins. It quite simple to use. However there is one thing I must mention, It doesn't backup on Google one. And because it didn't I lost all the data for my coins and now have take all the pictures again and upload them. So I'm not really happy about that.

I am not too knowledgeable about coin apps but I tried this one and I don't see any reason to look further. This app takes the picture, analyzes it searches the internet and finds the coin and if it cant find the coin it finds the most similar too it. It also has the option to send your pc a link to use it on the PC. Definate recommended. This app does what I need it to do.

For the most part this app is accurate, however the ridiculous amount of ads and the level of difficulty that comes from trying to buy/sell on the app make it an impractical nightmare. There's some work that needs to be done, but for being free and mostly accurate, it's a decent enough app to keep on hand.

I am amazed by the many functions this app offers. It's user friendly, simply capture your coin image then tap to search! The option to estimate it's value, create an album, and post your coin for sale is also just a tap away! The camera captures the best photos. It isn't loaded with ads. You can also purchase a subscription which is extremely affordable! Great app! Definitely recommend! *****++

1st time trying and so far I'm not impressed. There is no free trial so to check it out, you have to put up with the worst ads. It only takes a snap shot of one side. It doesn't seem to specify your coin, or maybe the similar coins presented aren't actually similar because it pulls entirely different mints. I couldn't tell because the navigation with the ads was somewhat painful. I'll check it again later to see if it will be helpful with another, more user friendly, app I am trying out.

I love the app! It especially makes identifying foreign coins very easy. The one thing that I can think of that I would like to see is in the archive. I would like to see the ability to create different folders within the archive. I collect coins from the US as well as foreign coins. Folders would make it SO EASY to separate the countries and put all your coins from one particular country in one folder. I hope the Dev's read this. This one small addition would make a huge difference!

The information that this app has given me in cataloging my coin collection that I bought during all my cashier work back in the 80's and 90's is really great. I haven't found the coin to help me retire comfortably but the microscope is irreplacible and the pictures are good. The focusing could be a little bit more steady. I wish the catalog was easier to download into other systems but they said thwy were working ay having a more comprehensive system. All in All I Love it, Great program!!

I was really hoping to like this app and that it would meet my needs. Unfortunately, within the first 2 minutes of opening the app and trying to scan a coin I was hit with ads! It's bad enough when you're playing a game and ads thrown at you every 5 seconds, but when trying to, more or less, work? I do not think so! I uninstalled before I could even find out if it truly worked or not. Sad times really....
