Unable to buy tickets. Tried to pay, but a VERY GENERIC ERROR was issues when I've done the payement. The money was withdrawn from my card, and according to CP will be blocked for some days and I still need the tickets...bottom line, a HUGE mess...stay away from this app, and if you also need to buy tickets online, try the website instead.

Bizarre app. Fine for checking the timetable, and looking at tickets you purchased through the website, but you can seemingly buy tickets on the app despite it saying you can.

Impossible to use, account or not, English or Portuguese, cannot purchase tickets. An app for train times alone is not good enough - glorified website. Website also seems to not know some stations.

It does allow you to purchase tickets but keeping tabs on delays etc etc is a missed opportunity. Also it's doesn't cache tickets and needs to be online - pretty much how the opposite of what an app should do.

Purchasing worked with PayPal, but didn't work with a credit card - after passing the MasterCard bank authentication prompt, the purchase was not completed. The tickets showed a wrong train number and wrong seats, but we figured it out. It worked, but I wouldn't count on it to be reliable.

Tried to buy a ticket, everything went smoothly until after payment check with my home bank. Then at the very last step (confirmation of purchase), an unspecified error message appears, no purchase was done. Conclusion: useless if you want to buy tickets.

Good when it works. Easy to buy tickets but when I tried to view them it wouldnt show any details. Found a workaround by opening app, clicking on traffic information, closing the traffic information and then selecting tickets.

The only time that I used this app, there was a fault at the payment stage. This made me too nervous to use it again, so I went to the web page to do my booking. Then there was a fault after the payment, so I paid, but no tickets. After a long time on hold listening to an elevator version of "I just called to say I love you", a helpful person assured me that I would be refunded. As we are in Portugal, I will buy the tickets at the station.

The worst experience I've ever had. When you add a user but you must press back to continue shopping this shows just how bad the ux is. I took 10 minutes to understand how to get to the payment screen. If that just wasn't enough I'm always having payment errors. It's just nonsense.

1. Payment is always lagging, sometimes it won't purchase tickets, but usually after second try it finally does 2. Poor UX and space management. Always there is a problem when showing passenger name and other relevant info to inspector. Would be nice to make the text bigger and readable, instead all of this big empty space and image of train :) 3. No way to save NIF number.. long number to remember and to type so I usually skip this part in a hurry

Bad, but not horrible. UI is rather decent, but far from good. Upon entrying co-passengers it didnt accept their ID type until 10th attempt. Payment method didn't save even after multiple tries and then suddenly appeared in n-th payment. Endless credit card errors, so book a ticket far in advance! Credit card errors don't give a reason for payment fail, but there are multiple error messages, so you can't know why you can't pay. Gives no explanation for why you can't buy a ticket to some trains!

Would be great if the important points would be shown to you, BEFORE you become a nuisance in the eyes of the ticket person. Like f. ex. that you have to buy the ticket 15 min before the train leaves, so you don't end up without, trying to buy one on the train with a card, which of course is not possible either. Or that you have to show ID and not hide that point somewhere in the terms and conditions. 2 Stars for the UI not being as antiquated as the rest of the train experience here.

I was hoping the android version would work better than the iOS version, but that's not the case. In iOS it doesn't work to send tickets to Apple Wallet. Here I can't do anything with the ticket as the app keeps crashing when I click on the ticket. So I have no idea if it works with Google Wallet or not.

DO NOT USE THIS TO BUY TICKETS - USE THE SITE INSTEAD. As explained by everyone here, the app gives an error when you accept the payment, transfering the money but not giving the ticket. In my case, the system detected the transfer without the ticket and refunded the money in 10 minutes, but this is still unacceptable. Use the website instead for purchases. App still works for schedules and to present your tickets.

Really poor, freezes you out. I have spent 45 mins so far today with this app trying to buy a ticket which should be a 5 minute job. It would be quicker to drive to the station and buy a ticket. I am about to unistall and reload it. If you are awake for 16 hrs today buying a ticket with this app will take up at least 1/16th of your day. Enjoy! 1 hr 30 mins later I finally got the app to work Quite literally the most appalling app I have ever used. Previous rating of 2 stars at least 3 too many.

Sometimes fails to buy tickets. At least the refund is automatic. For some reason doesn't allow you to buy tickets 15min before the departure time. Doesn't incorporate realtime information of delays and suppressions. Even thought this information is available online. Digital tickets for regional trains only work for one specific train, while physical tickets work for all trains.

It works but the UI is not that intuitive and it has some quirks/bugs. One example: I registered an account on the app with a password and then bought tickets. But the cp.pt website wouldn't recognize my password on a different machine, and once I logged out of the phone app the password wouldn't work, I couldn't get back in! Password recovery mechanism claimed I had no account. Turns out you have to register in the app TWICE. Then logins to both app and website worked and found my tickets, whew

Useful for somethings such as platform train is on and timetables. But totally ineffective for storing tickets. Should show already purchased tickets, but constantly crashes and fails to display the full ticket including the QR. luckily when I travelled had printed out tickets otherwise would have been stuck. Doesn't allow local storage of the ticket either. Disappointing app.

Similar experience as others. Good for checking the timetables, but seems to give always an error when trying to pay with card and payment confirmation is needed with the bank app. Money gets transferred, but not tickets, refund takes days. Hopefully this will be sorted with priority as it is quite a big flaw in the main functionality of the app.

This app was much better than I expected it to be based on existing reviews. While still no DB Navigator competitor, it works fine when booking several tickets for a trip between Lisbon and Porto. The only thing missing from what I can tell are real time trip updates. The notifications for bus replacement service and other issues also do not show for long enough on screen and can't be accessed later.
