worked flawlessly until last week, now out of a sudden it has a lot of trouble rendering 100mb+ pdfs that it read instantly before.

do not download. if you dint give this app permission to access everything and let their 'legit vendors'have access too, you cannot use this app, unless you agree to pay them a subscription. I've been using this app for years and it was fine. recently it refused to find cbr files, when going through my files the app wouldnt show up for the "open with" option. I'm done now. there are others out there. see ya.

It's really nice. There's no other app that is better than you but I want to read with full screen you know, notch does not hide when I zoom please fix this. I hope you understand my English

great app overall, user friendly interface, loads up any type of file cbr, cbz, pdf, zip etc. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone interested in reading comics a well deserved 5 star for this app

the newest update ruined the app for me. This used to be an app I loved using to read comics but now it will not load comics over a certain page due to "Not image compressed file" despite already working before

used to use another app for comics, this one is a lot better, doesn't crash, finding and loading the comics is a lot easier and smoother, glad I tried this one out

I've been using this app for reading the manga and manhwa I download and so far there haven't any problem to encounter If I want to read manhwa I just change the setting. User friendly I Recommend it if you want to read manga(you download) offline.

This was a great reader until the new update insists on getting access to YOUR WHOLE PHONE!!! Why does it need permission to access my personal files, calls, music etc and not just be content to only have access to the comics folder?? *Edit - The fix provided worked though I had to uninstall and reinstall completely for this to happen.

Almost perfect. I only wish there were an album creation tool instead of creating different folders every time. Grouping up some files should be an option.

There is nothing better for what it can do. So much so that I have bought it's subscription. One feature request is to save per folder settings (orientation, droppings, stretching, and page layout). I have different type of images (scanned Arabic Text), for which I have to tweak the layout daily to get the desired view. it would be great, if Comic Reader can remember my settings per folder and save them locally, so i don't have to set it up.

Use Perfect Viewer instead. If you go to "Remove Ads" instead of allowing you to pay a flat price they want you to buy a limited "license" so that they won't annoy you with ads between 6 months to a year. Perfect Viewer is free, way more options, way better interface, and does not use extortionate practices to force people to pay in perpetuity. Seriously, even if you are going for a paid app just choose one of the many that are one time purchases. This kind of software shouldn't be subscription
