I love the idea of the app and the fact that it allows me the capability to personalize my watch to a depth not available from the watch face. My only complaint is that the provided advertised images do not reflect the actual display on the watch its self. I still appreciate the app and the designers who invest their time and energy creating these advanced abilities for people such as my self. I find this amazing myself. Thank you.

Just downloaded and installed the app. Thought it would be easier to navigate. It kinda is but the main issue is that once I installed the app EVERY SETTING ON MY WATCH WAS RESET AFTER SYNCING WITH THE APP. Back to its factory settings. I AM LIVID!!! Even though the app shows my watch face installed, it will not sync and change watch face back to the digital one I had painstackely tweeked to my desired specs. If this app doesnt get its act together or its GONE!!!

Had a Forerunner 235 and this worked perfectly, didn't touch Garment Connect IQ for over a year. Got a new Forerunner 45 and no watch face configuration saves, it just highlights the Save button and no changes sync to my phone, just the default watch face and settings. Tried 3 different watch faces, all the same. It of course cancels out the changes to the watch face but nothing gets saved when hitting Save so better hope the watch face you pick is exactly what you want with no modifications.

The Garmin Fenix 6s is my first fitness/smart watch. I've had the watch for some time now, and I like the ability to search for watch faces and apps on Connect IQ. However, Face It leaves something to be desired. I really would like to be able to customize the color of EVERYTHING on the screen. Not just the minutes or second hand. I would also like to be able to change the size of what I've added and have different options. It doesn't seem like this would be too difficult for Garmin to add!

Why does Connect IQ need permission to access the phone's GPS? It connects to an independent GPS device that totally outclasses the phone. It constantly nags me for permission, and to actually turn on the phone's GPS. It will hang and pee away my battery if it doesn't get its way. My phone shouldn't need to even have a GPS now! That's why I bought the watch! Connect IQ also can't seem to connect to the watch despite being paired properly with Garmin Connect, and seeing data successfully sent between the watch and Connect. How can Connect IQ be unable to connect, instead nagging about "No network Connection"? Why does it need internet to do a bluetooth connection?? Please fix these deficiencies!

Could be such a wonderful app but every time I use it I close it out of frustration. Even a simple watchface selection can't be filter by type, model, maker, free or paid, etc etc. So.. you must wade through it all, or the curated groupings (which are equally poor in organization) only to eventual give up. App selection and Dat fields are the same way. Wonderful powerful concept, ruined in execution IMO.

Completely broken for updating settings on any app or watch face that isn't made by Garmin. Tapping the save button does nothing if not made by Garmin. It's annoying to have to use the desktop app then completely disconect in order to check the changes (no previews). Also you are stuck searching based on a single search with no ability to filter on supported devices, data fields, paid/free, or anything else for that matter. Even sorting by popular or rating seems to give the weirdest results.

Forget trying to get items downloaded The purpose of this app is to enable users to download apps, watch faces, widgets, etc. to their Garmin device. You can find and add items to the download queue easily. However, the actual downloads stop due to the connection between the device and app timing out or the phone going to sleep. It won't continue in the background while I have the main Garmin Connect all running. I am very disappointed in the performance of this app.

Nice concept, but rough execution. The navigation is messy, there's no way to filter results to find what you're actually looking for (paid vs free, for your device, colour, etc). Probably the most disappointing thing is FaceIt - it has so much potential but just falls way short. There needs to be more customization for what data to display on the watch face in particular (there's no heart rate option??), and more than 8 colour options would be nice.

Navigation leaves a lot to be desired. You can't drill down to, say, watch faces by Garmin sorted newest to oldest. No sorting, and filtering by one criteria means you can't account for any of the others. Also, when you select an app to look at in more detail and then navigate back to the prior screen, you're back at the top of the very long list.

It's pretty cool to be able to change the background picture and stuff, however I'm trying to use the app to look at and potentially download more apps and/or widgets onto my forerunner 45 but when I open the tab to download more apps, widgets, etc. nothing shows up. It's literally just a blank screen. I'd like to download more helpful apps/widgets onto the watch but I can't because of this. I've tried several things to fix the issue but nothing seems to work. What's going on?

Meh. The variety of choices is good, but there is no way to sort or filter down when you are looking for particular features. You can perform a keyword search, but no way to refine by type, so you still have to scroll through hundreds of irrelevant results in hope of finding what you are looking for. An advanced search option would go a long way to improving this app. Some suggested categories: analog vs digital, background color, images yes or no, Health data, trackers... The list goes on....

The app has a ton of watch faces to choose from that are free. I would love to see the capability of favorite things are in watch faces, instead of only being able to download them. I would also like the capability of pressing on a watch face to look at it, and press the back button to go back to where I was on the list. Once press the back button, it starts at the top of the menu :(

Update: can save settings for most using Connect Express on computer. Would have been nice for Garmin to respond with this info or post it in forums. OLD: For most of the last year I have been unable to save app settings. Save button is dead. Forum shows many have complained, but no fix by Garmin. You know the bug has existed AT LEAST SIX YEARS. Fix it!!

Edited: I got it figured out but I still cannot delete the face that is too large and I am repeatedly getting notifications that it is too large. I don't even want it anymore, so I'm just going to delete the app I guessIt will not remove the watch faces I uninstalled and now I have no storage to download more, so I'm stuck with the one watch face that is currently on, or the lame ones preprogrammed. Very disappointing considering I bought this particular watch for the customization capabilities!

Every time I attempt to view an app, watch face, or any other item from the Connect IQ store, the app responds with a server cannot connect error. This is both on WiFi and cell networks. The initial pages showing apps and watch faces loads, but nothing else works in the app. Disappointing that the app doesn't work in a very basic way.

I have a venue 2 SQ And this is no longer updating or allowing me to install new apps, watch faces, or update existing software. Have tried uninstalling, factory resetting, etc. Nothing. Tried disconnecting, reconnecting, unpairing, repairing, everything. Unfortunately before I could at least access the watch faces already installed, but now I'm stuck with nothing but the default. Going to try warranty return.
